All Stars ???

Do any All Stars hotel rooms have 2 beds and a sofa bed, a fridge and a microwave oven? A co-worker was trying to tell me that she had a room like that 2 years ago and that they always stay at All Stars. I told her that I had never heard of them having all that and she said she knew what she was talking about because she had stayed there.

Please tell me I'm not going crazy.

We stayed at All Star Music in 2002 and there were two double beds and thats it. I'd say your co-worker is wrong.

I stayed at Sports in 2002 and Pop Century in 2003. Both had 2 double beds and a small table with 2 chairs. No sofa what so ever much less a pull out. The only other furnature at either resort was the entertainment center/dresser and a night stand. There MIGHT have been a chair somehting like a recliner but it didn't recline at the pop century but I would have to dig out my pictures to be sure.

I have stayed at Sports, Movies, Pop and one night at Music. You're not crazy, the all-star rooms do not have everything your friend mentioned.

We stayed at Movies last fall, and we had 2 double beds, a small table with two chairs, and that was all. No other chairs or anything like that, they may have rented the fridge for $10 a day from the resort....

I think she may have been yanking my chains because I was telling her about the great rate I got at DoubleTree Suites for of next vacation in September. Everything I told her about the room at DT she said they had at All Stars. I said that maybe she had rented a fridge and she said it wasn't a cube, but she described something more like the size that they have now put in at the Deluxes. Insisted that they had a microwave and a sofa bed. I said maybe a rollaway and she said no, it pulled open from a sofa. She said that they probably put stuff like that in the Value resorts first, because they are meant for families and they understand that families need this stuff so they can afford to be there.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something considering none of this stuff is on the Disney site or Disboards. She insists that they stay at All Stars every time they stay at Disney cause that is all they can afford with 3 kids and that they always get these things.

She will be staying at Nickelodeon Studios the next time and she says that it sleeps 7 people and there is no extra charge for over 2 adults in room. She says 7 people covers everyone in room. I hope she's not in for a surprise when she goes in Sept. w/ her 3 kids, her, hubby, Mother-in-law and Niece.
