All Star Vacation vs. VRBO

I'm stumped. I see 2 great 6/7 bedroom homes, I'd like to rent. However, I think the prices may be too steep. I really want to have a large screen tv , a pool table and tv/vcr's in every room.

$2400 during Easter week still seems high. Any suggestions for negotiation?

If you want to go at Easter then you won't have much scope for negotiation - it is the busiest time of year and many villas will have been booked out for 12 months or more. Those that are left will have plenty of potential guests so you'll be very lucky to find an owner doing a deal.
If cost is a big issue consider going either just before or just after Easter. As so many people want Easter itself there are often bargains to be had on the fringe weeks.

We just came back from our trip and I had spent the last year doing all the research for the trip. I checked out a ton of housing rental agencies including All-Star (among others) and ended up going through vrbo.com and dealing directly with the owner. I found All Star to be more expensive than many other of the companies and individuals. We ended up with a great house, at a wonderful price through vrbo and we would use this site again. Have you checked out all their listings?

I, too, have found All Star quite high. They offered a free night and a free car and it STILL didn't calculate..

I have tried vrbo.com, Florida Leisure and Elite homes. The rates are much better.
