Hi! Can you tell me what the difference between an standard view and a preferred view is at the All Star Sports is. Also is $68.00 a night with the annual pass discount a good price for the week of August 26th?

Thanks,

Lisa

Basically as far as I can understand it, preferred view is Surfs Up. It is right on the main pool, near the mian complex and laundry. All the other buildings are regular/standard

All-Star Sports 04/02
All-Star Sports/ GF 12/03?

Animalcrackers is right. Overlooks pool area, laundry, and main building.

The above posters are correct about the Surfs Up building. However, it can be a little noisy over there.

We stayed in Touchdown #9 in an end room on the 3rd floor. It was wonderful. We were a short walk to both pools and the Food Court. The noise in this building was at a minimum and we enjoyed are stay at the AllStars.

Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

We stayed in Baseball, which is one building further than Touchdown. Our room was on the ground floor facing the parking lot which was OK with us, since we go off property a lot and our car was right outside our room. The baseball pool was just around the corner, and much quieter than the Surfs up pool (I was always able to grab a lounge chair at baseball pool while DD swam) . The building was very quiet even though I did notice some groups staying there. It was a little bit of a hike to the food court and buses, but it wasn't bad. We brought our own snacks, drinks, coffee, and breakfast foods, so it didn't seem like being far away was a major inconvenience.

We enjoyed AS, and will definately stay there again (maybe trying music or movies just for variety). Of course we are big fans of deluxes, not big fans of spending too much $$$.

Incidentally, we paid $69/night last June 1-8 with a mousesavers code.

That is a good rate. The value season starts on 8/25 and prior to that the best rates are around $74 per night. The least I have paid at the All Stars is $49 last fall. Keep checking for lower rates and if you find one, just call CRO and have them switch your reservation to the cheaper package!:D
