All Star Resorts Refillable Mugs

I've got mugs from previous stays at Music, Movies, and Sports. My question is, can I use my old mugs at Music when I go next week, or do I have to get a new mug? Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can re-use your refillable mugs, and no, you do not have to get a new one.

Disney official policy is the mug is only good for the length of stay where you bought the mug at during that time period. But that's not to say you won't be able to fill it up again.

This is a subject that gets a LOT of debate on. We have mugs from the AS Sports and have used them each time we visit with no problems, but the signs posted state that they are for use during the length of stay.

We did see people at Coronado Springs resort this last visit that had mugs from a different resort. It looked like they were going to use them, but were stopped because they were sitting in the middle of the table and the family all had drinks in regular cups. I was surprised someone actually thought they could use mugs from a different resort.

As I said, we have never had problems using our old mugs and have seen many different versions of them being used than what was on sale. So I don't think they actually strictly enforce that it is for length of original purchase stay.

But it is a very HOT topic about whether to use them or not use them.

WE were just at AllMu and I had AllMo mugs with me. I was unsure of the policy so I asked a CM and he told me it was perfectly fine to use any of the All Stars mugs at any of their resorts.

Call me crazy... but although I have all the mugs here in the house I purchase new ones each time we go. While I'm sure anyone could reuse the mugs on later trips, I like to think I'm playing nice and within the rules. (grin)
