I am trying to decide if I want to try one of the all stars. Are all the buses shared for the three resorts? If so does it stop at one and then go to the next one to pick up more people? I am worried you will be waiting a long time and it will be full when it does come? Never been to these three resorts before. Thinking of staying at one. Which one do you think is the best one to stay at? It will just be my 15 yr old DS and I.

No each resort has its own bus. I believe they may share Disney Springs buses.

They share in off peak times, yes. But each resort gets their own bus during busy times in the day.

I've stayed at the All Stars twice, and most of the time the buses were separate, but sometimes they were shared.

i stayed at all star sports in december.
the 3 all star resorts do share buses when its not super busy.
all star sports is generally the first resort to be picked up when sharing.
i was only there from friday morning to sunday morning (december 4-6) so it may not be a good enough representation but i can tell you that we shared a bus when we went to disney springs, MK, and HS.
we did not share a bus on the way back from those places though.

overall it was a good experience and the buses were not over crowsded.

if you're worried that buses will be passing you by due to being full then i'd suggest staying at all star sports.

Very little sharing during our February trip, and when we did there was no impact. Only once did we have an excessively long wait- Disney springs.

Sorry I answered based on my experience not first hand knowledge. I've stayed at Music and Movies before and both times we seemed to have our own bus.

In the event that the busses do share, the order of pick up/drop off is Sports, Music, Movies. I have stayed at each All Star Resort multiple times during various times of the year and have only had to share buses a handful of times both going to and from parks. Usually it involved Magic Kingdom and almost always had to do with Disney Springs. I agree with a poster above that Sports is your best bet because it is picked up and dropped off first, though it is not a "make or break your trip" type of thing- more for convenience sake.

I kept a "log" during one of my trips to All-Star Sports.

You may find this info helpful as to how often the All-Stars "share" buses.:)
It takes the Buses about 2 minutes to travel from Sports to Music and about 2 minutes from Music to Movies

Time to board THE SAD BUS!!!!BOOOOOOOO!!!!:):):):)

Last Nov the buses were shared only a couple of times during our trip and it really wasn't a big deal. Stopping at the other 2 AS resorts was faster than going all the way around POR and stopping at the 4 bus stops there plus French Quarter.

I just got back from AS Music. There is no sharing most of the time unless it is the middle if the afternoon when you may only have a few poaple waiting for buses. I should point out that I saw continuosly the Copntemporary and Wilderness lodge sharing, as well as many of the other moderates. As for the resorts, I have always stayed at Music but the other two are just as fine. I have found Music to be more suited to adults while Sports and Movies have more motifs that are attractive to the younger set.

We just got back from our Easter trip. Epcot bus was shared with all 3 both to and from the park all day. But we had our own bus at the end of the night. MK buses were always dedicated. Disney Springs was shared.
