its our first time staying there and was wondering if anyone has any positive or even negative reviews?? also which building do you recommend??? any information would be greatly appreciated! thanks

My DGD and I enjoyed our stay at ASMu back in 2001. We stayed in the Jazz building and loved that location. It wasn't very far to the bus stop/food court and was between both the pools. Have fun!

we also stayed in the Jazz section last trip. towel animals each day, extra towels, etc. nothing bad to repot at all except some of the early am CM's in the food court were not overly friendly. (but i'm not quite on at 6 am either!)

We got back a week ago and enjoyed my stay there. We had a few issues at check in as they had no record of us having the dining plan. They tried to call our uk tour operator but of course it was the middle of the night so they said we'd have to sort it the next day. They did upgrade us to a preferred location in the Calypso building though which was nice. We were on the second floor and although we faced the main pool we heard almost no noise from it.

Overall a nice hotel and it was much quieter than ASSp and ASMO. Food court was reasonable and never too busy when we went, longest wait for a bus was 10-15 minutes.

My DD and I have stayed at Music every time we've been. We love it. Have stayed 2 times in the Broadway (very long walk to the front of the property) and 2 times in the Calypso. The first time in Calypso was before it was a "preferred" building and I think we got it because we checked in around 1:30 AM. The CM at the front desk was so nice and gave us a great room. Last year we upgraded to the "preferred" room since we liked the fact that it was much closer to everything. But the Jazz buildings would be good too. The foot court is pretty good, can get most anything even for a picky eater, and it's open late. DD loved the pizza. Pools are fun and laundry facilities are OK. Rooms are good for the price.

We've stayed at the All-Star Music resort nearly every year. Calypso is fun to stay in, but since it is right beside the main pool, you can sometimes hear a lot of yelling and splashing until the pool is closed. The first year we went, we got stuck in Country. DO NOT STAY THERE! It's at the very BACK of the property and the longest walk to the front. To be honest, we liked Broadway the best. It's a bit longer of a walk than Jazz or Calypso, but we weren't in any big hurry, so the walk was just longer for all of us to talk. Also, we were right next to the back pool. It's nearly always deserted. We literally just had to go downstairs and across the courtyard. I've also stayed at Caribbean Beach, Wilderness Lodge, and Coronado Springs. All-Star Music is fun, especially for little kids, and I think it's great if you're on a budget.

Hope that helps! ;) princess:

Dd and I stayed in AllStarMusic in Dec '03!!! We loved it. And we were there for the end of the Pop Warner week!! We were on the third level of Jazz, toward the back. It was very quiet and peaceful. Quick walk to the food court/buses. No complaints whatsoever.
