All Star Music FAQ thread and tips

Just to let you know toasters are available in the food court as well as a microwave.

.....In case anyone is wondering on the food court - we left on Sat morning and the entire area was open. There was a closure of the main back door as well as some of the food court blocked off during the week.......

Do you mean the big doors that lead in from the pool area? I'm just curious as we were there from 17th September and I took a very bad fall just inside those doors on the newly replaced floors. The Paramedics tried to blame my flip flops but while they were with me a family walked in and their son slipped in exactly the same place (and he wasn't wearing flip flops) When I spoke to someone on the bus, she said she'd see a worker take a heavy fall in the same place too so there must have been an issue with the floors. Hopefully they are replacing them to make the safer as I'd hate for someone to go through what I did.

I'm talking about the main back exit. I didn't have any problems. It was opened the weekend we arrived and the weekend we left, but blocked off during the week.

You might enjoy going back to the beginning of this thread and read some of the replys and information. I think you might find it alot of fun to read about the resort. It should also answer most of your questions.... I think you have already asked alot of these that have been answered previously.

But, yes in the All Star Music gift shop they had cd's & dvds...

Is there some way to add a concise FAQ to the beginning of the thread? Or maybe someone could start a new thread (with a link to this one) with a consolidated FAQ? I notice that a lot of the other threads for specific resorts have this and it seems to work pretty well.

No problem....just thought you might enjoy reading all the info. on this thread as you may have forgotten some of it

Not sure about the piano pool closing, but we spent most of our time at the main pool. The piano pool was so quiet I fell asleep & woke up drooling!
We enjoyed all the activites around the main pool. (music, hula hoop contests and proximity to the food court if you want to refill your mugs or get a delicious sundae to eat pool side)

yes they will have movies in november. it will be at 8pm with a premovie activity at 7pm

We just returned from spending eight nights in the ASMu suites. There was no construction going on that we were aware of anywhere. We were in Jazz 9, on the top floor. Music is just a short walk away so we took a walk over there one evening. I didn't realize how big Music is. We never really walked to the end as we never made it past Jazz 9. I will post pictures later in the week as soon as I get the six of us unpacked and settled back in to home life.

Hi all. DH and I decided that ASM is the best choice for our family. We are trying to decide between a family suite or 2 rooms (there will be 4 adults and a 4 year old) which would you suggest? Also, are the family suites grouped together in one section or would I be able to book a suite in any of the musical sections?
