Why do I want to bring my own breakfast items (oatmeal, bagels) when I can have something like THAT for breakfast?! Yummy!!

Did the schedule of activities change during your stay?

We were there June 12th thru the 21st they had certain activites for each day fo the week and it was always the one listed. They also give you a list of them in your folder once we were there.

I was so excited to see that I'm not the only person who took a picture of his/her breakfast! And to think my mom called me weird!

Im hoping to make a trip for the 2nd week in Nov, looking at maybe a new job, not sure if they will let me off that soon......

but anyway most of our visits have been at POP and have been wanting to try something else, the calyso building always looked really cool.....

Hi,
We are staying at ASMu in Sept. with free dining and I would like to request a room in one of the Jazz Buildings.
Which room numbers are the closest to the Calypso buildings? I know I may not get what I want, but I could try. Thanks again!!

Since the ALL STARS share bus's, am i right in saying that most of the time the bus's are not share in the morning and evening time when the parks close

And if i am on a bus that is sharing at time is Music the first, second or third dropoff.

Thanks
Brooke

Brooke, if the resorts are sharing (they don't always), it is Sports, then Music, then Movies.

Sometimes, only Sports and Music share, or that was our experience in the past.

When we were there in January for 4 days we only shared 1x and that was with all 3 resorts to AK mid-morning. The rest of the time we had our own bus to & from each park. :goodvibes

hi! my DH and I may be staying here in april 2009. I've read this resort has less families with kids and more couples so it should be quieter right? I'm wondering(sorry i haven't read through the whole thread yet) but are there different theme areas where you can request your room?

Yes there is! Calypso, Jazz, Broadway are some!

This thread is incredible(s) - no pun intended!!!

I'm going to ASMusic, staying Mon. 09/22 > Sat. 09/27.

We have Chef Mickey's on Tuesday (lunch, this time..at 1 PM), and the EPCOT Food/Wine Fest is on Friday, 09/26, so we're excited.

To all of you "posters", I cannot thank you enough. Kudos!!!

Went in October and stayed in the family suite. We had a phenomenal time! There was SO much going on at the resort and it was communicated so well. I have been to WDW more than 20 times and I have never had the feeling of passing up something at the parks so we could do an activity at the resorts! They have movies at the pool, karaoke, crafts, etc. The family suite was really nice; sleeper sofa and chair were both very comfortable. There was plenty of space and we had four adults and two kids.

We had just been to WDW a few months before and stayed at OKW (loved it!) and ASMo (adorable). We split our time due to DVC points. The pools for small kids are cuter at ASMo, but my 3-year-old had just as much fun "ducking" Donald's water spray as she did prancing around in the toddler pool area at ASMo (see, can't even remember the theme of that pool :) )

I think you will love it at ASMu. The food court is certainly fine for what you need it for and there seemed to be plenty of seating at various times during the day.

Have a magical time!

OMG!! I am so excited!! I just booked our first-ever trip to WDW! :cool1:
We will be there Sept 12-20th, 2009 (I know-a long way to wait) followed by a 4-night DCL Wonder cruise. :woohoo:
I did not want to wait for the packages to come out because I wanted to make sure I got a family suite. DH and I like our privacy  .
I am SO glad I found the DIS! Thank you to all you experts and verterans!!! I am an obsessive planner and would be lost and overwhelmed without the DISboards.
Now if we can just get free dining.....

I'm so glad I found this thread. We have been looking into staying at one of the family suites next time we go to WDW. We have only stayed at the YC and AKL so we were worried that we would be let down staying at a Value. It sounds like a wonderful resort and you are all making me think more and more that this would be a good resort for us.

I just booked here for January before our cruise! Never been here and loved Pop, but want to try a different place this year! Now I have to go read all 34 pages of info....
