It's a good idea to stay in the Family Suites in the All-Star Music? I requested a family suites for Nov or Dec 2010!

You can't request the suites....it's a room category that you must book and pay for.

No, but there are fridge swaps that you can look for on the boards.

They have a mini fridge and a microwave. They also come with disposable plates and utensils.

I thought I read somewhere that the desk in the bedroom has a power strip. Can any one confirm that? Need to know if I should pack one or not.

I didn't remember a power strip on the desk or any where in the perferred room we were in back in Sept. I could be wrong. The internet connection was on the end table near the bed and it had a small cord. Hope this helps. Peggy ☺

we almost always in recent times have stayed at all star music.
It is a perfect resort imho.
We typically like the jazz building..."standard" room but VERY close to the pool.
I actually prefer a room that i can view the parking lot.....i just like to be able to see my baby (Honda Odyssey) and make sure shes ok!!
Honesetly though..the closer the room to the lot the better...fast in at night and fast out in the morning.

Hey Everyone. Me and my friend will be staying at ASMu June13th-19th. My question is how busy will it be there around that time? I know alot of people say there are always large school groupd but i figured around this time of the year all of those trips should be done. We are college kids so sleeping in is kind of a plus but nothing really stirrs us. LOL. Also anyone have pictures of the refurb they did to the bus stops and is it even done yet?

Mr.alec, I am with you but our favorite resort is Sports. I like a room with the view of the trash. Well, not to SEE the trash but I can see my car in the lot, it is a few steps to the bus stop and even fewer to the food court. Location of the room makes or breaks a vacation in my opinion.

I have always wanted to give the Value Resorts a try and my husband refuses. This year we want to tag on one more day to our stay and CSR has no availability. So now I get to try ASMU. My one concern is night noise. He will not be happy with me if a bunch of unruly kids keep him up the night before his long drive back home. I am hoping there are no big school/sports groups there July 9th. Is one building more quiet than another. No concern about busses b/c we will have a car.

It really is a great location isnt it!
you can step outside of your room and there is your vehicle and yet the pool is only a 3 minute walk the other direction.
I love it.
