I just used this directions last week... it is from www.allearsnet.com and were great!

Directions from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Disney's All Star Resorts:

Follow the signs for the South Exit from the airport to pick up SR417 South (also called the Central Florida GreeneWay) towards Disney World. You will go through two tolls ($1.00 each). You will see a sign for Walt Disney World at exit 6 but you will go past it and stay on SR417 until you come to exit 3 (Osceola Parkway). There is a 50 cent exact change only toll at the exit.

Take a right at the end of the offramp and follow that straight. You will pass Wide World of Sports on your left and Pop Century Resort on your right. Keep going straight until you see the sign at the exit for All Star Resorts. Turn left at the bottom on the exit ramp and get into the left hand lane.

You will go straight through one set of traffic lights and the security gate will be immediately after you go through the light. Have your license or photo ID ready when you pull up. Even with a reservation confirmation sheet they ask to see your ID.

Once through security, All Star Sports is your first resort on the right, All Star Music will be the second resort on your right and All Star Movies will be the last resort down

I used mapquest successfully and then posted it for you -- see post #778

If you want to look for it yourself put "Disney's All Star Music Resort" in the 'business' destination line and then select the correct resort from the left hand side in the next screen.

So, any new construction updates??Today was supposed to be the magic end-date. I just hope we have no trouble 9/21-9/26!! But since we have a car, we could always go somewhere else I guess!

I am not sure what's up today but we left on Wednesday and they seemed to be just about done. The food court was very useable by the time we left although they did still have 1 section closed off near the check-out area.
The walk through to the main lobby, transportation, and the store was open for use before we left.
We had a great stay! Enjoy yours!:thumbsup2

We have posted the directions for you. They are in post 778 and 804 of this thread. If that's not working for you I recommend you call and ask over the phone.

I just had water shipped there from Costco a few weeks ago.
The address is:
c/o All Star Music Resort
1801 West Buena Drive
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830
I put my name (preceded by "guest"), reservation # and hold for guest arrival on " arrival date"
When I checked in I mentioned the water shipment to them and they said that they had received it and would bring it to my room. When I went to my room later, it was there.
Hope this helps.

Can somebody who has been there recently answer this question for me - are the All-Stars sharing busses again?

We went last September during free dining and in a week of riding the bus never once had to share a bus. Our busses were all exclusively to and from ASMu.

We have friends staying at ASMo right now saying they are hating the busses since they're already packed by the time they get there cause they're sharing with the other All-Stars. What is going on here?!

I don't know what's going on now, but, I've heard that Sports and Movies often share buses whereas Music gets its own. I think it depends a lot on time of day and season though.

We just returned from AS Music on Thursday night. We had a nice stay! For about half of our stay, the construction prevented us from walking through the main building. You can walk thru the building now, but the closest restroom to the food court is blocked off and you have to use the pool restroom if you're in the food court--not fun in the rain.

Bus service was hit-or-miss. Sometimes we shared a bus and sometimes we didn't. We waited up to a half hour for a bus several times (and this was during "rush hour" before park opening and also returning to the resort from the parks) though other times we waited only 10 minutes or so.

Mousekeeping kept our room clean (and that's the most important thing for us) but was inconsistant with leaving soap & shampoo. We never had a laundry bag until I requested one.

The pool games are great! On the one night we set aside to see the outdoor movie, it rained so they showed the movie in the food court. We did play bingo and that was fun, and the kids played pool basketball.

Cast members were always friendly.

We had a standard room in the Jazz section, so we did get a privacy curtain which was great to have! I like the improvements such as the hooks on the wall and the curved shower curtain plus a shower curtain liner. One thing I did not like about Pop was the way that the shower curtain kept moving around during our showers. I thought that the color scheme was nice, too. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at AS Music and would not mind staying there again.

Great Pictures! Thanks for sharing those. How were the lines at the food court?
