In the family suites, does mousekeping fold away the sofa & chair in the morning (if used, of course) or do they leave it open or do they expect that we close it up unless we want sheets changed?

How does that work?

How does that work?

They make the fold up beds each day and fold them back into sofa, chair and ottoman.

Have fun at WDW!

we were just at asmu in a family suite for 7 nights at the beginning of the month and we all loved it! ell worth the money, just a bit more than if we'd done 2 rooms and having the couch/chair to sit on was great! :cool1: dd & dsil slept int he bedroom and pawpaw & nana and ht ekids slept in the living room fold outs.the kids thought it was so cool to have thier own bed. we pushed dgs's into the lil hallway between the lr and the door to the br and that worked great. to answer your ?'s... 1.they supply 6 each of plates/cups/bowls/spoons/forks each day as you use them { we didn't use much as we decided once there to eat breakfast in the food court. but the fridge was great for all the desserts from counter service that we were too full to eat! also for cold water bottles.2. yes both sink areas have the curtains.3.no toaster but i have read people take their own.or if you get the refuillable mug you can just bring your bread/bagel what have you to the food court to toast in their toaster..! 4.yes sometiems shared busses, sometimes crowded.once or twice longer wiat but it was raining and many people leaving parks at the same time so that slowed things up. different bus stop numbers at each park if i'm not mistaken...
we loved the suite and were in the calypso building room 1606! we were told that all suites were in jazz buildings and it states that online but they have several from what we saw in the calypso building to the right of the pool coming from the foodcourt. we were so close to pool,washers/dryers and foodcourt. really nice.3rd floor so we could walk out and see the pool from our doorway.i'm so wanting to book with the new codes i have seen and go in sept. would miss work w/o pay to get to go...hehe...maybe next year when the next oldest set of grands are older...next set all girls and the twins will be 5 next spet. so would be wonderful to have a princess vacation with them on their birthday w/their baby sister who would be 2 1/2 by then...
hope you enjoy your stay in sept. :dance3:
My family is booked at ASMu for 10 night in Sept with Fre Dining!!!!!!!!::banana: I am sooooooooo happy we were finally able to get the suite! I do have a couple of questions :

Do they have dishes/silverware in the kitchenette?

Are there privacy curtains in the FS ?

Is there a toaster?

And a couple of general resort questions:

Does ASMu share a bus in the morning w/ ASSp and ASMo?

Was the bus crowded?

Does anyone know what # ASMU bus stop is at the parks? (really just curious on this one!)

Thanks!

Disneyjazz, do you have any photos of the resort? Would love to see some if you do.

just finished the thread...yes they fold up the foldouts each day, even after the 2nd day when we folded them up to be out of the way so we could al get ready and kids could glue themselfs to a seat and watch stacey! they loved her by the way...mouskeeping would fold the beds back out and tuck them in neater than we did...hehe...we only got one lil towel doggie but they did soem cute tooth brush holders for us and also fancy soap/shamopoo holders on the tubs.and th ekids bigmickey & minnie were always tucked in with pillows and the kids blankets around them in the chair when we'd return home...:cloud9:

I found this resort too small and too much of a walk to the bus stop. I will choose something more comfortable next time

We were able to extend our stay.... We'll now be @ Music 8/31-9/6 WOO HOO! So glad to hear that the movie night will still be in place.

We do not plan on getting a fridge, but we plan on having a cooler in the car with us. Could you please tell me how close ice makers are to the room? Also, we may bring a bottle of wine with us (We're celebrating our anniversary on this trip) and rather than take up all the cooler space, is there an ice bucket in the room? How about glasses (either glass or disposable plastic will do)?

The ice machines are located behind the elevators on each floor. They are in the center of each building. There is a ice bucket and plastic cups in the sink area. They replace the cups as they are used.

.... we loved the suite and were in the calypso building room 1606! we were told that all suites were in jazz buildings and it states that online but they have several from what we saw in the calypso building to the right of the pool coming from the foodcourt. ......

Just an FYI:

The Family Suites are located in the Calypso and Jazz Inn Buildings.

Calypso Building 1 has 32 suites
Calypso Building 10 has 54 suites
Jazz Inn Building 2 has 52 suites
Jazz Inn Building 9 has 54 suites

Does anyone know what building has the handicap family suite rooms? We are going in Oct. my DD2 first trip. It will be Nana, Papa, DH, I and DD2. Thanks
