All-Star Movies next week......any tips?

We're staying at All Star Movies next week with my extended family for the first time. There are two young boys in our party, ages 4 and 6. Do you have any tips on foods to try, sights to see, etc...? We've already made our room requests. Thanks for any info!

Make sure you get around to all the buildings. The Toy Story courtyard is amazing as well as the Dalmations. There are many great photo spots in this resort.

As far as food, it's really no different than any other food court, but we found it good. Get refillable mugs, they make great souveniers as well as save money.

If there are separate busses to the 3 AS resorts and the line is shorter for ASMusic, you can take that bus and cut through the parking lot to ASMovies as long as you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk.

You can swim at ASMusic or Sports if you are staying at ASMovies, so if the pool is crowded, you can always go to Music. Music seemed quieter when we were there.

We will be at ASMo week after next arriving the 25th to be exact.. This will be our second stay. We stayed at Toy Story Buz builing last time and kids loved it, this time I hope to get a room in the Dalmations... Yes if you plan on eating at foodcourt every day (we did for breakfast) the refillabe mugs would be a great money saver. We even go and fill up our cups at night after coming back from the parks..

We arrive there the same day Bluejasmine! I hope we love it we've never stayed there before. We've only stayed at POR with my parents. This time it's just the kids and I. I think this one would appeal to them most of the value resorts because of the larger than life statues and themeing.

My family and I had our first Disney World Vacation this last June. June 26-July 3

The ASMovie resort was awesome. We stayed in Toy Story building, Woody side bottom corner 9709, I will never forget it. My 3 yr. old was in awe with Andys room. Also, speedy was right outside our front door.
The food court was great!!! always had what we wanted when we ate there. We were on the dinning plan, I highly recommend it.
The pool wasn't bad the time we had in it. The mousekeeping was always wonderful, got towel animals and all.
Even if I win the lottery in the near future, and take another trip to the "world" I would stay there again in a heart beat!!!
Have wonderful time. Don't forget to check out your life jackets in the arcade, they are no charge and you are able to keep the same one all week long, or however long your stay is. Don't forget the wake-up calls either. A hit with both my children, even the pickey 13 yr old.

I'll be there with my daughter and niece in 5 more days and I was wondering which building is closer to the bus stop and food court. I heard that mighty ducks and love bug is the furthest and I heard that you have to pay $10 dollars more a night for fantasia which is very close so I was trying to decide between toy story and dalmations. I had already requested toy story. But curious because this is my first time ever going. I am so excited we're staying from the 22-27 then heading to Ft Lauderdale to my sisters house, she just got married and moved to Flordia so I thought it was time to see disney since my sister in Flordia, I have an associate who's coming along also with her 2 kids. We all can't wait.
