I made our reservation with DCL a couple of weeks ago and today I had to change the date from May 28, 2005 to June 5, 2005 because of scheduling problems. I realize that the month of June is more expensive than in May but the price I got seems high to me. After I got off the phone with Disney I went to All Season's website to check prices. They are indeed less than what I am paying. My questions for all you Disney Cruise/All Seasons Travel veterans here on the DIS are:

Are the prices listed on their website pretty close to their actual prices??

Does All Seasons also offer rebates, onboard credits, etc?

Can I switch my reservation to them from DCL?

Do I get to keep the stateroom they we have now?

How do they go about switching the deposit?

Is it a major "ordeal" to switch the reservation?

I apologize for all the questions but I am totally new to this and I have no idea what I am doing!!! I'm pleased to report that I am slowly learning here on the DIS. Thank you so much for your help.

Let's see

1- They are actual prices
2-Yes they do
3-You could, but if they're cheaper, don't
4-If you get a new ressie, you can't
5-Just tell DCL you want AllSeasons to handle your ressie
6-No, not from DCL to any other TA

Hope this helps some. If their rate is truly cheaper then just cancel old one AFTER you rebook a new one. Don't forget to ask for any on-board credits and rebates they might offer at AllSeasons since this could further reduce their rates. The only thing you'll lose is your stateroom...Mark

We cruised this past April. I had originally booked with DCL then transferrred over to All Seas (it was much cheaper). I had Sandy as a TA, she was great. I kept the same dining time, same stateroom number, moved over the deposit as well. I didn't have to do a thing except save money. All Seasons is wonderful. They deal with DCL all the time.

:)

If you do use AllSeasons there are 2 agents with similar names but much different service. Sandie is fantastic, Sandra isn't !!...Mark

Good luck with your cruise plans! There are lots of reputable travel agencies out there. I use All Seasons Travel because, IMHO, they offer the best customer service in town and they have great prices. I recommend them to everyone who asks!

Good Luck,
Ursula

Thank you so much for your quick replies!!! All Seasons is closed today and tomorrow for the 4th so I will have to wait until Tuesday to speak with someone. I did email them yesterday. In regards to specific agents, can I request Sandy for our reservations?? I was so angry at DCL yesterday I could have spit nails!!!

Thanks again!!!
Carla

I also used All Seasons Travel and was very pleased. Everything went smoothly, no problems.

I don't think I can stand it until Tuesday!!! The waiting is driving me crazy!! I am the type that wants everything in "order" even if it is 327 days away. I bet there are several of us like that here on the DIS boards!! :p

Oops, I forgot to add in the previous post that I have also requested a quote from DU. Surely one of them can beat Disney's price!!!

Carla

I just received the quote from DU and it is $665 less than the price I have with DCL!!! That includes a Dreams Instant Rebate of $75. Can you believe it?? I'm soooo excited!!! I have a question for you. Should I wait for the All Seasons quote or is this "as good as it gets"?? I have until July 8th to let DU know something so All Seasons should be back to work by then. I want your opinions so please feel free to share them.

I couldn't have done it without you!!!

I'd wait. Tell AllSeasons your best price AFTER they quote you. If they want your business they'll beat the other quotes if they haven't already with their price. They beat all other by 610.00 on my last cruise...Mark

Mark, I will do just that!!! I figured I should wait but I wanted someone who knew all about this kinda thing to confirm my thoughts. I'll keep you posted. ;)

Thanks for your help!!!
