All PINned up and nowhere to go!

Arrgh, this week we got an e-mail pin for 35% value/35% moderate/40% deluxe & villa discount PIN for For stays most nights:2/27–3/5, 5/8–5/27, 5/31–6/4, 8/21–10/8, 10/23–10/29, 11/13–11/19, 11/27–12/3 and 12/11–12/24/11..and just yesterday got the same offer in the mail with a different PIN number! Of course, 2011 is the first year we can't go since 2005!
How do they know, or is it just coincidence and everyone else got the same PIN? We have a trip to Europe planned this spring for a wedding so Disney isn't in the budget this year. Maybe we can sneak to DL Paris for a day as a consolation.

I'm in the opposite boat. I'm wishing I got the PIN email that a lot of others have been getting for my December 11 trip. I'd be willing to switch dates to be able to go!

I got that same PIN offer in the mail. I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN A MAILED PIN CODE BEFORE!! This is the very first PIN that I'll ever be able to use! We got 2 through email the year we weren't going (OP, I feel your pain.... I really do!) I'm super excited that I should be able to use it this year!

We got the same pin in the mail today. but we already have our vacation booked with a different pin code we got before christmas. Plus I got another pin code thats still valid until Jan 28 for free dining. Now the decision which is the best value and why so many at within 2 months! I guess I should be happy I got one but they could of spread them out we usually go once a year or more
Have a great time in Europe My 18 DD spend the summer before her senior year in Europe. She went to Paris, France, Italy,Switzerland and Germany. She had a great time. We had to skip Disney that year as well.

I was in that same boat last year....got the "monster pin code" but we just couldn't spend the money at that point. Fast forward to this year now we have the money and no pin code. Murphy's Law I guess. I hope to get a pin for our trip (11/27 - 12/3) but we are going either way!! DH said so

I think its so crazy how the Disney decides who gets pins.. By NO means am I complaining..I got 2 pins within a couple of months.. I booked my trip for May 2011 in Nov. 2010.. In Dec. I got my first pin and I was able to apply 25% to my existing ressie.. (for my entire trip).. Then just last week I received the newest one (the same one the OP had).. but, it was only good for 4 days our trip.. However, because of this we were able to upgrade to a deluxe for 4 nights (which I am completely OVER THE MOON about)..

I feel really lucky.. I have a friend who has been to Disney as many times as I have been.. (she has been over 10) and she has NEVER received any pin code..

I feel your pain. We had the FD pin that would have worked perfectly for another Thanksgiving trip but I had eye surgery and we couldn't go. I so wanted to go for some much needed stress release but it just wasn't in the cards.

what totally bummed me out was the lack of JULY in those codes. We've always been able to score the 40% off for July. But not with this pin. Hoping for JULY!! We got that in the mail yesterday too. So I take it as more of a mass mailing.

Oh I am so wishing for this PIN as our 18th wedding anniversary is Oct. 29th and I would love another anniversary trip and a ticket to MNSSHP...keeping my fingers crossed
