All My Plus Size Sisters

I found a really cute t-shirt at Target. V-neck with a little gather in front, long enough to cover what needs to be covered, and I think they were about $12.99. I bought one in every color they had. They're comfortable, too-really soft-feel like pajama's. I love them.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE THIS SHIRT!!!! My friend (who is Pooh sized as well) told me about them... they made her look really nice so I took a shot. All I can say is AWESOME!

I used to be plus sized. I shopped Old Navy to look good and target for cheap and easy. I didn't want to spend alot of money on clothes those sizes. Targets made me look really really frumpy. So much so that I looked in the mirror real good one day and decided that was enough for me. I looked so bad I didn't want to leave the house anymore. So I only suggest target as a great motivator it worked for me.

old navy online has lots and lots of plus sized women's clothing... i shop there pretty much exclusively
shipping is a flat 7.00 and you often can find coupons online... prices are very reasonable

I always shop at Kohls. They usually have a great plus size dept. They have great sales to. and you can use a coupon on top of it. :hippie:

Can anyone tell me whose t-shirts have longer, not too tight sleeves? Soooo many of them fit fine but the sleeves are too tight, which is incredibly annoying when it's hot out. Or they're too short and ride up. Help?!

I like C. J. Banks. When they have a sale, it's great. Visit the website and register for their e-mails. It is the plus size version of Christopher and Banks.

I recently found some nice shirts at Walmart.com. Had them shipped to my store and didn't have to pay postage.m Return is easy too, just take it back to the walmart.

Hey thanx for all the comments and suggestions everyone. (Side note: just turned to Disney Channel and Mulan is on. YAY!!)

I've ordered from these sites a couple of times.. great customer service and decent quality. :goodvibes

I went there and they/Avenue have some really cute tops on sale for $9.99. Gonna pick those up. Hope they still be on sale at the end of the month when I get paid. Thanx!!:thumbsup2

A word of warning about ordering from woman within. They send a TON of catalogs-I mean more than 1 a week and from EVERY company they deal with. I got men's catalogs and a bunch of others. I got 16-20 catalogs in one month.:scared1: The same catalogs over and over. I tried for months to get off their mailing list. MANY phone calls and almost a year later, I think I am finally off the list. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah. My mom gets those all the time... Woman Within and Romans. They usually collect dust til I throw them out. My mom is one of those people who only wears certain things for work but also wears those certain things out on the weekend. Been thinking about siccing Stacey and Clinton on her. :rotfl2:

Check Old Navy online. They have lots of cheap stuff on clearance at any given time, and shipping isn't too $$. I like them for my weekend wear. I also buy a lot at Target and Lane Bryant, but LB is getting more $ without increasing quality.

I've used to shop exclusively at LB but you are right the price has gone up without the quality doing so. I got fitted for the Right Size Fit pants. Red triangle size 8. Fresh out the dryer they fit perfectly, then about an hour or two into wearing them, when I'm at work no less, the start to droop and sag (i already got things drooping and sagging, trying to keep theings in place:rotfl2:) and I have to constantly pull them up. No more LB for me.

Have you looked in Kohl's and Walmart? Kmart has nice tops also.

I don't think our Kohl's has a plus size department, but I'll double check thanx!!

Gonna check out Kohl's like the thought of being able to use coupons on top of sales. LOL

I am also looking for some bra. At last fitting I was a 48DD (a sales clerk in LB fitted me), thinking maybe a DDD may be a better fit. But at a lost.:confused3 Any suggestions?

I ALWAYS buy my bras at Lane bryant. I tried those less expensive ones and they don't support me like they should. They are a little pricey at Lane Bryant but I have had mine for 1 year now, and you can't even tell, feel like there brand new. They are a little pricey, but sometimes they have b1 get 1 1/2 off. :hippie:

Walmart!!

I'm not kidding. I get great clothes at great deals at Walmart. I'm a 3x -4x, depending on the item. Their regular prices are pretty good, but if you are lucky you can find what you want on clearance. A few weeks ago I got denim capri pants for $1! I've gotten blouses I wear to my office for $3 - $5.

After a holiday there is always a deal on "holiday" t-shirts. Usually you can find some that are only loosely related to that holiday. After Valentine's Day I got some nice quality T-shirts that were deemed "holiday", but really just had some hearts on them, for $1. And yes, I do wear those with my $1 capris and brag about my $2 outfit. ;)

Happy shopping!

Try LB for bras - I think I recently got an e-mail for a bra sale. I bought a bunch at Buy 2 get 2 about a year and a half ago and they're still holding up. (No dryer!)

Ah, no dryer:thumbsup2 I always put them in the dryer...maybe that's why they never last.

We have a Lane Bryant, an Avenue, and Catherine's. I wear too large to shop anywhere besides Catherine's and the quality is great. For $25 per year you can get a Perks card and save 10% on every purchase plus you get coupons and great sales all the time. I have been getting alot of free shipping offers by e-mail recently and their clearance is unbeatable. I have bought $50blouses for $5.00

To me the quality at Catherine's is better than anyone. I wear alot of their dressy blouses to work and they really hold up well. Well, as I said I can't wear clothes from anywhere else as I am too large. I wash and hang up ALL of my clothes, that will make them last longer. Catherine's has a line of Perfect Price items and they are reasonably priced. I like for my shirts to be really long and this is the only place I can find them that are long.

I have ordered from Roaman's and the catalogues that their company sends out, they are a subsidiary of Lane Bryant and their quality isn't as good as Catherine's.

I've never shopped Catherine's. But have you seen their disney tee's? Cute!

I may have to buy one of those.

You know that is the only item I have found to not be of the best quality. The only reason I bought the Tink one was because I got it on the clearance rack really cheap and got my discount and probably some other discount.

They really are cute though. They are also short.

Oh thank you for that review- short is my annoyance. Hello If I'm plus size I have big ****s and need length in a shirt!
