I don't know where everyone is, Beanie, but it would take much more than that to run me off! LOL! Heaven knows I've hung in there with AMC even through all the hideous Tad/Ditsie storylines over the years!

I was afraid I had run everyone off with my Tad/Ditsie rants. So what did I do today? Jumped right back in with another rant. Sorry. I just can't help myself!

I got off work at 1:30 and got home in time to see David with his hands on Tad's Fathers throat! It did look suspicious, but I think David has a little more sense than that! I hope anyway! Loved the Poems and how lucky you are to have that book signed! I think I will bring one for when I go to SSW this year!

I just checked to see if they had the new spoilers posted and they have not yet, So I may have to post them tomorrow. I missed Friday's episode too. I will miss Gillian, she will be gone soon. I hope in her last day they show lots of scenes from her and Ryan's past.

I saw that Mac (General Hospital) will be making some guest appearances when he visits Anna. I always liked Mac.

I watched today, let me see what I can remember....Joe is ok, they said he had arrythmia (sp) and he is okay, Tad went in to see him and cried like a baby.

You missed Erica, Bianca, Opal, and Myrtle having lunch at some dive, it was kinda cute. Palmer came in with Vanessa and Opal was looking for a fight.

Beanie, I absolutely loved reading your poems - they are great! If you have a chance, you should whip up a few and include the storylines of today - you have a great talent! And thanks so much for posting the picture of your autographed Soap Opera Magazine - that is so neat! I definitely remember the characters and plots of that "era"!

Aprille, I have returned! I was also annoyed, the other day, watching Ditsie try to convince Jake not to take the job with David. And then Tad tried to do that yesterday, too - when did Jake ever butt in to Tad's career decisions?! ("I don't know, bro, maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea to try to steal Adam's company from him, with your ex-lover and his current wife, Liza......especially not while your wife is spending late nights at the office with David Hayward...."!) Jake was right to tell him to butt out! Looks like there's going to be a brother vs. brother feud, coming. I don't know why they're making Tad so despicable, lately. It was pretty funny when Ditsie was at Joe's hospital bedside, telling him that Tad won't listen to her (about dropping his vendetta against David) "because of.......you know.....what happened between us....." has she no shame, constantly bringing up her affair with David to Joe.....particularly while he is recovering in a hospital bed??!!

In the mean time (I know that I'm a little behind in my commentary, here....) could Laura be more pathetic?! They're making her out to be all naive......didn't Becca behave very similarly when Leo and Greenlee made their bet about HER?! One minute, Laura's all pouty and whiny "why are you making a bet about me and laughing about me?????" ........then the next minute, she's allowing Leo to ravage her in their car! I have to admit, as annoying as Laura is, I really like this storyline, with Leo being tortured by images of Greenlee!

Hey - where have Gabriel, Rosa, Shannon, and the rest of the teeny boppers gone? Isn't school back in session? What is Bianca doing hanging out in a dive bar with her mother and her friends on a school night? Have JR and Jamie come back from their very-late-summer-soccer-camp yet? Are we ever going to see Gabriel again? They showed Marcus in the hospital every day for weeks......are they ever going to let us know how he's doing? Or who is filtering drugs into PV through Roger?? Mind you, I was bored by those storylines, anyway, but it's funny how they just drop them when they feel like it!

I can't wait to see if Arlene comes back and tries to steal Hayley's baby, or something - that would be pretty typical of her! (I exercised great restraint and didn't look at your spoilers, Mickey's Sunshine!) I also think that Olivia Bierklund does an amazing job with the role.

Was that Mia that they showed in yesterday's coming attractions? Did she lighten her hair, or something? If so, is she trying to look like Liza, or are they trying to make her look less like Gillian??

An FYI for all my fellow AMC watchers:

I just called my local ABC affiliate and was informed that ABC has made the decision to rebroadcast today's episode tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the distraction of the silliness of life in Pine Valley. I won't even mind (too much) if Ditsie is on.

Hope that all is well with all of you, your families, and friends.

I don't know that they re-broadcasted Monday's episode - when I watched yesterday, it seemed like we had missed something - not a lot, mind you - it seemed to move very slowly, yesterday - but a bit, anyway!

I am also looking forward to a bit of distraction, now that AMC seems to be back on the air. Watching constant 24-hour-a-day coverage and living so close to NYC has been overwhelming. But I'm glad that they had continuous coverage - I liked to stay connected to the most recent developments. It will be nice to have some sort of temporary distraction, though.

It seems so strange that I'd written that big long post, just last Tuesday morning before work - and never could have imagined how the world would change just a few hours after I'd written it, and what would happen during the rest of that day.

Again, hope that you are all all right and are hanging in there!

And on a quick "AMC" note.......why does Adam care so much about Mia's past and why was he so sympathetic to her after he heard her story?! She still makes me want to puke!

Did you notice on the close-ups of them kissing the other day that her nostrils are as disproportionately large for her face as her boobs are for her body?! I think I could see her peabrain up those gigantic nostrils. Let's just say that wasn't a very flattering camera angle for her. I use to love Tad. Ditsie has turned him into a mamby-pamby wimp. UGH! Sorry but I am not familar with the concept of a female's breast being too big for their body.

IASW Rider - I read your post on Tuesday morning, posted some replies on a couple of other threads and was going to came back here to post how happy I was to "see" you again when the phone rang. It was my dh telling me to turn on the TV. Life hasn't been the same since.

ABC did not rebroadcast Monday's episode on Tuesday. Just another erroneous report from ABC. I was obviously given misinformation by some doofus in programming at my local affiliate in Houston which I turned around and posted here. I assume folks on the west coast saw the entire episode so ABC didn't rebroadcast.

I'm looking forward to getting back into ranting about AMC. It would be a great distraction but my heart is just not in it right now. Maybe it's because Ditsie hasn't been on to inspire me. Although Laura gave me plenty of ammo today.

MaryJ - thanks for the link. I will check out David's latest rant when I get a minute. I could use a good chuckle.
