They'll probably all find out, together, Poohbear - at some public event (but not at Brooke and Edmund's wedding). What other public event is coming up? She will show up and shock everyone and leave the show with a proverbial "bang" - that's my predicition!

Great show today! I'm glad to see Chris has snapped out of his vindictive, self-pity mode. I enjoyed the scenes with Chris and Anna today. Also enjoyed Anna yesterday with Erica. But I still don't want her to be police commissioner. It was mentioned again today so I'm afraid it's a done deal. ARGH!

Ryan hurled some good zingers at Kendall today! This was my favorite:

Kendall: "I found out I'm not who I thought I was at a much more impressionable age."

Ryan: "Which explains why you're a whole lot more screwed up than I am."

bahahahahaha

Cracked up at Greenlee's line after she found out Vanessa was still alive: "What does it take to kill that woman - a stake through the heart?!" (Told you she was a vampire! LOL!)

Poor Greenlee. Two gorgeous guys are in love with her. But after today's show I say dump Leo and jump Jake. I feel sorry for Leo but I want Jake and Greenlee together.

And what about Vanessa and her Maggie Smith thing? I was LOL the whole time!

Sherry - I was laughing at Vanessa too. Oh, she's good, very good! Do you think she's really lost it or is she faking it? Doesn't really matter. She'll give us a good show either way! LOL! I wonder how much longer she'll be around. I'm in no hurry to see her go.

AMC's Sweetheart Could Be ATWT's Bad Girl

Cady McClain's (Dixie Martin) final airdate on All My Children was February 26th and already the actress may have a post-AMC gig.

According to setside sources, McClain has signed on to appear as a "bad girl" on CBS's As The World Turns. The role would be very much unlike the role AMC fans are used to seeing her portray.

Re: Cady McClain on ATWT - I hope she takes off with this "bad girl" role like a house afire and loves it so much she never wants to play "AMC's Sweetheart" (GAG me! ) again!

Looks like from today's previews that we'll be hearing about Ditsie today. I think it's kind of funny she just slinked off in the middle of the night without really saying goodbye to anyone. I wonder if she even said goodbye to JR. If she did it was off-camera which is my favorite way with Ditsie!

Poohbear - I think what Chris told Ryan about his mom yesterday IS true. He told the story to someone else before. Was it Erica or Anna? Can't remember but he has told it before.

Can anyone tell me what happened between Ryan & Chris? What did Ryan say that made Chris so angry? My VCR messed up again! Also, is Vanessa alive or dead?

Aprille - I believe that Chris told that story to Anna. All he told Erica was that there was someone whom he loved in the past, who had passed away.

PNelson - After Chris told Ryan that his mother was no better than his father (in terms of the fact that she used Chris to get information to help her drug dealer husband, who subsequently beat her and her children), Ryan exploded (even though HE was the one who begged Chris to tell him about his past, and if the reason that his "father" hated him so much and beat him was because he knew that he was Chris's biological son) and started yelling at Chris that it wasn't true and that he was a liar and Chris started defending himself, and that's when he moved his legs.

Vanessa is not only alive.......she now thinks that she's Norma Desmond from "Sunset Boulevard"! We don't know yet whether she really IS crazy and deluded (or shall I say MORE crazy and deluded than she usually is!) or whether she's faking, to throw everyone off! She's the best!

Ditsie as a bad girl? I may just have to watch AWTW to get a glimpse of this!

Pooh, I watched today but cant remember, I was more listening than watching. OOOO, Mia confronted Jake today about "running off" with Greens. Vanessa was still talking gibberish to her sons, but in the end she is talking to herself (well you could hear her thinking) and she was saying basically that she is faking everyone out with her memory loss. (or whatever you want to call it).

I am not that great recapping the show...where is Aprille or IASW?

You did fine, Christine! Not much happened yesterday. It was a good show but not really much going on plot-wise except we did find out that Vanessa is faking it. I don't have time to do a recap this morning but I'll copy and paste the one from the official AMC site:

Tad confronts JR about why Dixie left without telling Tad, and Adam defends JR and talks about the time JR will spend with Adam and Liza. However, JR insists that Liza will never replace his mother. At the same time, Tad tells Liza he thinks David had something to do with Dixie's decision to leave. Afterward, Tad calls David and demands that David tell him why Dixie left. Meanwhile, Vanessa pretends to be possessed by a movie star named Rosie. Leo thinks Vanessa's ravings are clues to Maggie's whereabouts. When Vanessa sings a hymn, David believes he knows Maggie's location, and he takes Leo with him. Greenlee taunts Kendall about being a fool where Erica's concerned, and Greenlee assists Erica with damage control at Enchantment. Kendall lashes back and accuses Greenlee of trying to be the daughter Erica always wanted. Erica overhears that Chris can move his legs, while Chris tells Ryan about the "blue-sky-day" on which he met Ryan's mother, Gail, and Ryan's brother, Braden. Later, Erica visits sleeping Chris and tells him he's going to marry her.
