I saw Kelly on her show this am, she said she is staying with the show. She just won't have a contract saying she will work a certain amount of days per week anymore. Ya know, kind of Per Diem? So she can have flexibility. Regis made fun of her for it, it was pretty funny. Anyway, about AMC. What's up with Edmund always knowing exactly what hotel rm. Brooke is always in?? He just finds her room with no problem! I can't wait for the day he sees Maria. I just hope they don't make us wait till November!!!!!!

This is going to drag on for weeks at the very least. You all do know that, don't you?! I'm just hoping and praying it won't be months ala the Proteus storyline!!!

I don't think this has anything to do with Proteus which depresses me even more. I was hoping to consolidate my disinterest with it all rolled into one storyline but NO -- they can't even be that considerate.

I hate to say I told you so but I TOLD YOU SO!!! Woohoo! Vanessa's not dead. What a crack-up today when she "woke up" when Leo was bending over to kiss her goodbye. Then he comes out into the hallway and says, "She's back!" bahahaha!

David was hilarious today. Trey was scolding him for making snide remarks after his mother just died. David said, "This is a hospital and cartwheels aren't allowed."

MC - Adam had Trey investigated and discovered that Trey is not even Trey. The real Trey is dead and OurTrey took over his identity. So he's probably not really a lawyer either. I think he's definitely related to David/Leo/Maggie somehow. He muttered something today about making Vanessa pay for everything she's done to him. I think he's either another one of Vanessa's spawn or Vanessa's sister's kid making him Maggie's brother.

Why did Maria/Maureen call David?

We don't know. We don't care. Someone wake me when Maria is back in PV and everyone knows about it. I figure that will be at Brooke and Edmund's wedding which starts 8/23 so we've got 3 weeks of Maria lurking around. UGH!

I kind of like Mia and Greenlee with shorter hair.

Yes. Not that they've come out and told us that but I'm sure he is.

Today's show was great!! I was cracking up laughing when Leo went to kiss his momma and she came back to life! He is really is a great actor!!! His facial expressions were something. I cracked up again when he came out of her room laughing and then when he said she was back - too darn funny. Why am I thinking that Trey will end up being her long lost son???

Oh, and my thoughts on Trey, maybe Vanessa Scamed his Father/Family years ago, and they turned poor, and he found out who it was, and is seeking revenge??!! Leo now knows something is UP with that guy! And besides, wasn't Trey IN the room, with a Pillow Over Vanessa's face the other day?

Hi Everybody! Been "summer busy", had computer problems and stuff, but been keeping up with AMC. It's so cool reading about what everyone else here thinks is going on and who they like and don't like and why.

Christina, thank you SO MUCH for sharing the pix! I loved all of them! They're terrific! You did a fabulous job!

I know I am in the minority here (jillpie, maybe you are with me on this one), but I am still so happy Maria is back. Yes, they dragged out the story, but nothing could be as bad as the never ending Proteus deal. And, well, right now it might be too much of a shock for Edmund if she popped up too quickly. I dunno... I just like her and now that she has landed her perfect body in Pine Valley, it just might get a "tad" more interesting.

BTW... I want one of those Pine Valley posters Maria was looking at in the airport. I also want the Pine Valley plaque in the police station. See, they need to branch out. There is more to abc soaps than just jewelry.

Ok, I think I might be one of the few that likes the new Kendall. I don't know why. Probably because she's not boring to me, she doesn't wear drab colors all the time, we get to gag whenever she changes into a new outift, and well, I hated the Buffy/Kendall and will be forever perplexed as to how Buffy/Kendall made it big. on prime time. Go figure. But I do like Kendall. *runs for cover*

And finally I am enjoying Adam and Liza. Remember I was fast forwarding thru all their scenes before, so this is a great improvement. But that wardrobe, GEEZ! Adam's suits and ties are more exciting than Liza's duds and they sure are duds! I do think they need a divorce though. I wonder who will get custody of Winifred and the pumpkin bread.

When the going gets tough, the tough come back from the dead???? I nearly fell off the couch when Vanessa "woke up" and of course, Leo handled it perfectly. What a great scene!

Hmmm... I didn't think Trey was going to be related too, because they have been digging up too many "relations" for David and Leo, don't you think? But maybe you guys know something I don't know. Here are just a few wild thoughts I had... ok, will Vanessa's sister ever show up? And will she be a twin?
Also, when Greenly mentioned Roger had nice eyes (along with the bar-fly squint.. cracked me up)... I remembered Rogies eyes were brown... and Leos eyes are brown... and does anyone get the sickening connection here? LOL... Remember Roger called Vanessa "candy pants?" We do know they had a fling way back when. I do miss Rog baby so much and did find his funeral hysterical. So maybe Leo finds out that Roger was really his dad and Greenly finds out that Eric Kane was really her dad and .... well... you never know.

Simone and Frank Hubbard? ... well, I guess that's a possibility. Poor Frank couldn't come back on AMC til they bumped off the other Frankie 'cause ya know we can't have two Frankies on the same soap again... unless we are General Hospital and we overuse the name Laura. Maybe some of you guys remember Nancy and Frank? They had a son Carl? I loved them. This is going way way back... Frank Frank Frank....Oh, wait, I'm supposed to be talking about the soaps NOWADAYS.. sorry...I got off on another tangent.

I like the connection with David and Maria. I thrive on signs that he is still as evil as ever. Love that guy. Anna.. snooze fest, but it could be worse. Couldn't it?

Kelly? Geepers, leave already... how many jobs does she need? Wonder if her kids ever see her. Sorry, but I won't miss Haley at all.

I loved the scenes with Frank and Jessie too. I really like this Frank. He could be a keeper. I don't really like the new Tim, but I am willing to give him a chance. How long will it take Jake to figure out that Frank Hubbard is ..... oh, geez, I just thought... won't it be cute when Jessie tries to find William or sees him for the first time?

You made some interesting points here Tina. I too a while back thought that Leo would turn out to be Greenlee's sibling. A very sick storyline if that does come true. That would probably be the point where I would be most disappointed with the show!

Hey Everyone!

Congratulations on your new baby, Pembo!

Loved all of your thoughts about Vanessa coming back to life, etc. That woman has been on the edge of death 2ce, now, and has come back to life - how does she do it??

I wouldn't mind having that Pine Valley airport poster either, Tina! Maybe we should write to "shop the soaps" and get them to expand their offerings!

And what is with Kendall's wardrobe?? While I think that Greenlee has the best wardrobe, Kendall is most decidedly stuck with the WORST! Liza's clothes are usually boring, but Kendall's are just awful! But I guess that they give her those things to wear to make her look "cheap". I wonder if she'll dress that way when she's working with Greenlee at Revlon?? Speaking of which, how is Greenlee so sure that Revlon isn't going to fire her, after Erica's newspaper attack on her? She's hiring Kendall without knowing for sure whether she has a job or not!

Time to get ready to wake up, Aprille - Maria has landed in PV! Now, David told her to go far away and move on........to get away from people from PV who are "stalking" her.....so what does she do? SHE GOES DIRECTLY TO PV!!! I don't get it, but I'm happy that she's there, so that she can start getting her memory back and people can start running into her. I'm glad that Brooke finally told Edmund (sort of), though. The cat and mouse chases back and forth to Nevada were getting a little tiring. I also wondered how Edmund could so easily find Brooke's hotel room when Brooke and Tad were told that guest privacy was the priority at that motel, and it was impossible for them to find Maria there. (Even though they told her that Maureen had checked out without even questioning who was asking and why!)

Enough of Liza and Adam! Although I loved when she beat him at his own game, Friday, by convincing him that JR had taken the car that he had tampered with! I'm just sick of their always fighting or sneaking around. She should take Colby and move in with Tad! I miss when they worked together at WRCW, and when she was obsessed with him!

I'm wondering what Aidan's purpose is, too. Too many new characters at once. I don't know what they could do with him, short of having him hook up with Kendall. I still say that Trey will eventually do that, since they are both "outcasts" in PV.

Trey is defending the woman who tried to kill her, and Greenlee throws SIMONE out of the apartment building for sleeping with her father??!! I don't get it.

I really hope that Roger doesn't wind up being Leo's father - that would be so gross! I wouldn't be surprised if Greenlee is somehow related to Erica, though!

Ok, today's show has not started yet and I have NOT read the spoilers above... and believe me, even writing this now, I am having a hard time not looking. And after I am done writing this, I will not look... I will not look. But thanks for posting them! LOL

Another weird thought... it would almost make more sense if Leo was Vanessa and Eric Kanes son since Vanessa was a young starlet in Hollywood at the time Eric was a director with a sizable casting couch. (I think I saw a young blonde Vanessa on the Munsters the other night... she was a dance teacher... was that her? My daughter is not as convinced as I am)... That would make Leo Erica's half brother. So how about if Greenlee's dad is either Roger OR JACK! I find myself checking everyone's eye color now.
And yes, if Leo and Greenlee do share Roger as a father, it will be way too gross for me too. If the writing is excellent they don't need to resort to "in your face" sensationalism or trying to push our tolerance.

I agree, I think Kendall has to look cheap.. thus the dopey duds. I also agree Greenlee has the best wardrobe... she and Erica.

I'll join you, Tina! Did you ever notice how all of these people go to have meals at the Valley Inn, but it's rare that you ever see them with food on the table or actually eating anything there? They mostly drink cocktails and coffee! I think that I saw someone with a salad there, the other day. It seems like people do all their eating at B.J.'s (or whatever the place that replaced Holidays is called) or even at S.O.S. But I will be happy to join you for a fine dining experience at the Inn, Tina. Maybe we'll pass by Simone drinking at the bar and falling all over herself, on the way in. Or Greenlee and Kendall sitting at a table, drinking water (no food, of course) and strategizing. Or Anna having tea with Aidan and Jackson showing up to harrass Anna for no reason.......!

Hi, Tina! Good to see you checking in. I can assure you that you are not in the minority being happy that Maria is back nor are you alone in liking Kendall. You should go visit the PVB message boards. There are tons of Kendall sympathizers there. Why? I don’t know. I don’t get it and never will but to each his own. I really think she was written to be UNsympathetic but lots of folks see it differently. I think Alicia Minshew is doing an admirable job in the role but I can’t see myself ever sympathizing with Kendall. I wanted to choke her today when she was whining that Erica and Bianca are out to ruin her. ARRRRGGGHHH!!! She could have gone “home” with Alice and been rid of them but noooooo – she hung around for vengeance. But Erica and Bianca are out to ruin her. Puhleeze!

Mark my words. And I’m not liking it already after today’s show. UGH! I’m just hoping and praying that my “nap” only last 3 more weeks. This is beyond tedious.

Loved the Greenlee/Kendall scenes today. Greenlee telling Kendall, “See if you can wrap your pea brain around this – I would hire Erica before I hire you.” Then later when she was telling Leo about her and Kendall teaming up to get even with Erica she said, “Kendall is so dim she thought I was serious.” Oh, I’m sure they will team up before it’s all over. Kendall will be in Greenlee’s face so much she’ll finally cave in but I still don’t see them being a match for the Mighty Erica. But it will be fun watching them try.
