So did anyone watch the Daytime Emmy's last night? The only one nominated from our show was Levin (Lily/Eva) and of course she did not win.
I can not believe more of our group were not nom'ed. Like Kendall, she had alot of great stuff last year.The only AMC people I saw there (including the preshow on SoapNet) was Levin, Thorsten Kaye, Cameron Mathison and the girl who plays Colby. I did not see anyone else.
Thorsten and Cameron presented an award together. They looked good!

When Ryan attempts to get Annie to lighten up about Greenlee, a fed-up Annie threatens to nix their honeymoon. She quickly rethinks that decision and they, along with Spike and Emma, head out as originally planned. Kendall thinks back to their fertility clinic hijinks with Simone and Greenlee and recalls how they all seemed to click back then. When Lily tells Jack and Sean about her encounter with the drug dealer, they're certain that he's sold to Ava in the past. Ava realizes she has no more chances left with Jack and offers to say it was her choice to leave so as to not hurt Lily. Ava and Lily share sad goodbyes, then Ava takes shelter in the empty boathouse. Kendall and Greenlee find common cause for sadness when they encounter each other at Simone's grave. Greenlee shares with Kendall the letter Simone wrote her, encouraging her to return to Pine Valley and her friendship with Kendall. Kendall vows to prove to a world-weary Greenlee that they can recapture the magic they once shared. Kendall and Greenlee try to cook up Fusion Green's next super formula. You cant call Kendall and Greenlee quitters, especially not after they try once more to recapture their former friendship on Thursday, June 21. Zachs not quite as forgiving as his wife, though, and keeps Greens in his suspicious sights on Monday, June 25. Meanwhile, although Jacks not fooled by Ericas latest plea for attention on Wednesday, June 27, his recently returned stepdaughter takes pleasure in teasing a jealous Annie on Thursday, June 28. The sad thing is, Emmas gullible mom takes the bait and jumps to the wrong conclusion about Ryan on Friday, June 29!
On Friday, June 22, it begins to appear that JRs lies could financially ruin his father, which is glorious news to at least one persons ears on Tuesday, June 26.

So glad that it looks like Greenlee is finally "putting things into perspective" (.....for GREENLEE, anyway! 
) and is "laying off" the "SPIKE SHOULD BE MINE" concept. I can't believe that Kendall really believes herself when she tells Greenlee things like "we made Spike together", etc. I guess she can only do that because she doesn't see Greelee as a "threat" any more?? If I was Annie, I would be LIVID with Ryan and his insistance to "include Greenlee in their family". It's sort of nice to see Greenlee and Kendall reminiscing about Simone (great to see Simone, herself, too - I wish that they could "bring her back from the dead", as they've done with so many other characters! I miss the humor that she brought to her scenes!) - although I STILL insist that Simone had left her shares of Cambias / Fusion to BIANCA and MIRANDA because that's the way that ETHAN would have wanted it. Is it possible that I'm recalling incorrectly and that she left her CAMBIAS shares to Bianca and her FUSION shares to Greenlee??? Anyway.......nice to see Greenlee and Kendall reminiscing about the early Fusion days, too (.......although do they not recall that Maggie, weird Lori, and whiny Joanie were part of those original brainstorming / planning sessions, too? And I don't think that Mia joined the company until AFTER the homemade-lipstick-incident........she joined the company after her sister LIZA gave the women the money they needed to get started..........).......but I still don't completely "buy" Kendall all of a sudden dropping her suspicions about Greenlee and her motives and just "trying to get their old friendship back". I guess they need to re-establish them as solid "best friends"........so that Greenlee can be there to tell Kendall "I told you so" and help her "pick up the pieces" if or when she finds out that Zach slept with Hannah to help her get pregnant..........
Very sweet scene with Lily and Jonathan floating their wedding memory box away..........but just more evidence that they are heading Jonathan towards a relationship with Ava.......especially now that Ava is moving into Wildwind........
I kinda like Amanda and JR together......but I wish that they would get them out of that warehouse / cellar, already!
Has anyone been watching the OLTL "Prom: The Musical"? I am not a regular OLTL watcher, but I just HAD TO watch a few episodes this week because I was so curious about how they would "do" the musical scenes. Just like the AMC "Dream" episode, I think that it's a neat concept - to have some "musical episodes" of a daytime drama..........these have been cute........but kinda corny, too! And since I am not a regular OLTL fan, I must observe: the acting and writing is MUCH BETTER on AMC (in my opinion, anyway!)!

After Greenlee apologizes to Babe for ribbing her about her GED, Babe tells her that she made her a stronger person and a mother her son could be proud of. Greenlee confesses that holding Spike felt really good. A nervous JR approaches Zach hoping for help to find the lost ransom money, but Zach is loving the idea of making JR sweat. Adam admits to JR that he was working with Zach to steal Chandler Enterprises from under him and tells his shocked son that Zach will end up running the business. JR realizes that Zach is destroying his family and vows to stop him. Greenlee's attempt to reel in Ryan falls flat when he makes it clear that Annie and Spike are his focus. Tad was more like his old self in those scenes! The look on Erica's face was priceless!
Got my room booked for SSW! Staying at Saratoga Springs- Beach Club and Boardwalk were booked. Also was able to use some Delta vouchers from being bumped on a flight to get a free flight down. My Mom is planning on joining me this year! She isn't really into the soaps but is just coming along for the ride!

We will be staying at the Dolphin for 1 night on Nov.10 for SSW, after returning from Disney Cruise.

Needless to say we now have official confirmation that Greenlee will have a terrible car accident that causes pain for many down the line. You know from reading my last week's column that Spike will go deaf as a result and that Kendall will eventually go into premature labor giving birth to a baby boy they name Ian. Greenlee's life spirals out of control as she begins drowning her sorrows in alcohol. Aidan will come to her rescue as she attempts to leave the "Comeback" one evening in a drunken stupor with a stranger. The inside buzz is that the show is considering a triangle of sorts with Aidan, Josh and Greenlee however nothing is set in stone yet.
I am still hearing that Kelli Giddish (Di/AMC) is out the door however we must file this one under rumor for now. They may decide to pony up and give her a story however they seem to have run completely out of ideas where the lovely and talented Giddish is concerned. Unless things change, look for an announcement on this one way or another sometime soon.
Another leading lady from AMC's younger set (no not a teen) may also be leaving though she is not unaware of this so no names for now. AMC is paring down to key players only and will be cleaning house from what I am hearing. Ava becomes an overnight sensation with tons of publicity after she helps to nail Lenny the drug dealer. JR's part in the caper is tossed aside with all attention focused on Ava who sucks it up like iced tea through a straw. Ava wants to be a star and hopes her new manager can help make her dreams come true.

Even as his life is being torn asunder, Adam realizes on Monday, July 9th that his love for Krystal might not be dead after all. But when the silver fox's pride gets the best of him on Thursday, July 12th, will he miss his only opportunity with Krystal before Tad proposes something interesting to his baby's mama on Friday, July 13th?
As if Wednesday, July 4th, weren't already filled with enough combustion, tension runs high at a Fusion holiday retreat---by Friday, July 6th, Greenlee and Annie are ready to kill each other! Though Josh distracts Greenlee from her vengeful plan on Tuesday, July 10th, she's back to baiting Annie on Wednesday, July 11th, when the former Mrs. Lavery happily allows the current on to jump to the wrong conclusion!

Kendall Makes a Plan
Just before Independence Day, Annie can't stand that Greenlee is still around----so much that she refuses to sleep in the same bed with her husband. Meanwhile, Greenlee can't stop kvetching about Annie! Trying to be a good friend, Kendall sets up Greens and Josh in the hopes that her hunky brother will take the former Mrs. Lavery's focus off her ex.
Later, as the tension at Fusion rises, Kendall realizes she's got to take drastic action to save her company: She calls the women of Fusion to an emergency meeting on July 4!
A Failed Fourth
Kendall gathers Amanda, Annie, Di, Greenlee and Babe at an off-site retreat: they're joined by Ava and Colby, who cater the event with food from the Comeback. Much to Mrs. Slater's chagrin, exercises designed to build trust among the feuding Fusionista's don't seem to work, especially when Greenlee and Annie nearly come to blows while giving each other extreme makeovers

Colby and Ava share a little bit about themselves during the day but remain far from best friends. After Ms. Benson brings up her desire to model, Kendall quickly shuts her down: Instead, the cosmetics company co-founder wants Lily to be the Face of Fusion Green! The conflict sparks some group creativity, resulting in an idea for another makeup line about day-and-night opposites. Later, Kendall asks her autistic stepsister to model, but Lily isn't sure she's ready.
Greenlee, meanwhile smugly tells Jack that the book hasn't closed on her love story with Ryan! Between, Greens single mindedness and the frustration mounting between Ryan and Annie, is it any wonder that working together on a Fusion project leads to a huge fight between the Mrs. Lavery's?

Stuck in NYC traffic with Ryan, Zach senses that something is wrong with Kendall.
Ava is upset by her feeling that Jonathan thought he was making love to Lily, not her, and dyes her hair brown so as not to look like Lily, resulting in Kendall firing Ava.
Lily reaches out to a distraught Ava and touches her.
Tad is happy when Krystal agrees to move in, but Adam vows he won't lose his kids to Tad.
JR signs his stock over to Adam, intending to restore the family fortune himself.
