Yes, I had forgotten that whole Jane Cox being after Tad and also Trevor hooking up and marrying Laurel for like 5 minutes. Remember when Wilma (You can't fool mother nature!) used to show up and terrorize Janet? Ah the good ole days! Hey! Maybe Janet isn't really Janet but Wilma with plastic surgery out to destroy Janet's reputation and life? Or!! Maybe Janet and Natalie really weren't identical twins, but a set of Identical Triplets and this Janet really is the never before seen third triplet who looks like the way Janet and Natalie used to look!!!

I can't find ANYTHING anywhere that confirms Dana Reeve was even a bit player on AMC. Anyone else?

I saw it in a few places, but no mention of who she played.

If they ever DO decide to bring back "normal" Janet (AKA Robin Mattson), having THIS Janet either be a never-before-spoken-of-triplet..........OR Wilma in disguise (.......with the traditional Green Family plastic surgery, of course) would definitely "make sense" (or at least the writers would have us believe that it would "make sense", anyway! )! And maybe Dr. Cletus-Fetus-Martin-Kane-Madden CAN defrost Trevor..........so that the Dillon family can live happily ever after, once again????

Stranger things have happened (than Janet and Natalie having a never-heard-of-triplet) - remember the whole branch of Erica's family that appeared out of nowhere? (ie: Goldie and Silver) If the writers had us going, several months ago, wondering whether Di really WAS Ditsie or Lainie or whomever.........then they could easily explain this "crazy Janet" being another sibling, OR Wilma in disguise!

I wasn't going to react to this, but nurses have been wearing lab coats for years. They are not "doctor" coats. I am a 56 year old RN with a college degree. We wear lab coats over our scrubs or over our clothes. It is required if you are in street clothes and going into a patient care area. It is an infection control issue when you are wearing scrubs in patient care areas and then going into a public area. Also, we wear them to keep warm.
Sorry to take this personally, but the role of the RN has changed since the day of the nurse's cap.

Oh I keep finding that too but no mention of when or who she played. Usually I find something like "best known for her roles on AMC and Loving" but I can't find confirmation. Even IMDB doesn't list either soap in her credits. I'm really curious now to know who she played. I watched Loving for the first few years it was on too and just can't recall her. They couldn't have been very prominent roles if none of us can remember her. Still, it's very sad and so tragic for her son to lose both parents so young.

As for Timmy - maybe he's in the deep freeze with Uncle Porkchop!

Or...maybe it isn't Janet & Natalie who had a triplet sister, but Trevor had a twin brother he didn't know about! So when they convince James Kiberd to come back they won't need Dr Cletus McFetus KMK defrost him...after all that's a bit far-fetched for us poor-dumb viewers to believe.

I was GLAD that Greenlee apparently changed her name back to DuPres, in part to spite Ryan - Leo WAS the only husband that should have mattered to her - at least he didn't pretend that he was dead for months on end, then show up and expect her to have undertood!

You mean he hasn't come back from the pretend-to-be-dead YET. How is Las Vegas doing in the ratings? He could always come back with a new face. The guy that played Ethan is tall enough, and unemployed. If they can try to convince us that SORAS Colby isn't really Stand-In Lily, anything is possible!

I was guessing Tim was in the freezer too. Of course last time he was in town they had turned his character into such a dork, they can leave him in the freezer!

bsusanmb-I didn't mean to offend nurses or you. I guess I've only ever seen nurses in scrubs when I've been at the hospital. I think the residents of PV also thought she was a doctor gauging by their reactions.

I remember that sl with Janet and Pierce et al...that's when I was busy watching Loving and a sometimes watcher of AMC. I don't remember Dana Reeve though?!

Why aren't they mentioning Tim???? That boy kept growing and shrinking the last we saw him....kind of like Jamie. (remember mute Jamie-did they ever explain that?)

Near the back of the book there is a listing of characters and the actors. There is a listing for
Dana Ivey - who played a character called
"Mrs. Bancroft" in 1989. Could this possibly be Dana Reeve ??

I'd say it probably isn't her. There was no photo of her, but there's a biography for Dana Ivey on IMDB.com & there's no mention of her being married to Christopher Reeve & she has quite a list of films, including Legally Blonde 2 ...that would have been mentioned other places I'm sure.

I've even tried to find her under her maiden name of Morosini, but nothing.

I am so glad that there are others that remember that Janet...had surgery and didn't look like Janet...how wierd is it that they bring her back...CRAZY...and with her old face prior to the plastic surgery that changed her completely. I thought I was loosing my mind...trying to remember who was who..and when it happened. Seems like I wasn't the only one. You gotta wonder what the writers are thinking..I mean bringing her back looney tunes is one thing....but Jeeze...she was an entirely different human being when she left. Makes it tough to follow the story..which was out there to begin with...and now is just getting to be toooo long. Although I think the actress portraying Janet is hilarious!

You are not alone, I was complaining about this very issue, as soon as I heard Kate Collins was returning. Not that I don't like Kate, cuz I do, but Robin Mattson was Janet when she left, and had major plastic surgery. Oh well. Janet is such a hoot, but I actually feel bad for her when she talks about being locked up.
