I don't know about anyone else here but those previews aren't even all that exciting. No offense to you Mickey's Sunshine! I am finding that more and more lately I fall asleep during the show. Something has to change, right... ?

I'm willing to bet they likely weren't on board the first time that story was done. Seems to be quite a bit of re-writing of history..and apparently now re-hashing of history going on. Nothing too fresh...unless it's so totally bizare as to be offensive.."little swimmers in coolers". Gross.

Also agree about Kendal never having clothes on..she is always in skimpy FREEZING dresses..but for that matter Erica is very often also. The funny part of this to me is that they are both like human bones...so it's not like there is too much to be showing off there. It just seems like they are out of season in these little summer cocktail type dresses..going to work in corporate American. Doesn't appear very professional. Never seen anyone dressed like that in the offices I've been in.

I still think Janet killed Trevor. Haven't seen today's episode yet, but I was LOL yesterday when she was talking to Amanda about Trevor and saying that lately "he's been so... cold."

Hi everyone,

School's gotten hectic and I haven't been able to post in awhile - and I haven't been able to catch up on everyone's most recent posts, yet, so please forgive me if I repeat something that one of you might have said, recently!

I just saw in "Soap Opera Digest" that Michael E. Knight and Catherine Hickland have separated, after 14 years of marriage.

Does anyone else find Julia's behavior to be totally weird, erratic, and very "un-Julia-like", since she's been back? They just can't seem to decide what to do with her character (OR her hair styles!). Since when is she so interested in becoming a parent, RIGHT NOW?? Perhaps a ploy to get closer to Ryan?? The whole thing with her and David was just ridiculous, and totally out of character for Julia.

I know that Zach is "superman", as he seems to show up everywhere, on a moment's notice, all the time.........but could he REALLY have done something to PV's entire power grid, to cause the blackout?? Is he really THAT "all-powerful"???? And is it possible that my original prediction of months ago - that the baby that Kendall is carrying is HIS - could really be true???? In the mean time, here we go again - just when they finally allowed Kendall and Ethan to be happy, she wound up feeling betrayed by something that he withheld from her, and they broke up. Now the same thing is going to happen with Zach, once she finds out about the blackout. And then I guess that we'll have to suffer through watching Kendall and Julia duke it out over Ryan. UGH. (It was much more fun watching Kendall and Greenlee duke it out, over Ryan!)

I would hate to think that Janet killed Trevor, but as you all were just saying, it seems pretty evident that that is the case, based on the little clues that she's been dropping, in her conversations with Amanda.........

I'm still hoping that Ethan and Simone's engagement doesn't mean that they will both be leaving the show, together, soon. The fact that there is new footage of Simone in the little pieces at the "half time" and end of the show, is hopeful, though!

I agree that the show has been ridiculously written and fairly boring, lately. The stuff with Janet is just over the top and silly (though it was pretty funny when she was showing Amanda her mini "Naughty Pine Valley" set, the other day!) and insulting to a formerly great character. Babe and JR and Krystal and Adam are great couples, but enough with the same old themes and schemes, already! I was never a big fan of Amanda's, but I am looking forward to seeing if she will eventually cave in and turn in her mother, thus redeeming herself and Jonathan simultaneously, in the "eyes" of PV.

I guess that the Mardi Gras Ball is going to be the next "big event" in PV. A million dollars says that Janet tries to execute her "BIG PLAN" to punish Babe and JR at that event..........and winds up getting exposed and caught, there! Maybe the whole Greg / Josh thing will come out, there, too.

Did anyone else notice that both Erica and Kendall were wearing sleeves today? It was so strange to see their arms actually covered up. I swear the writers read these boards.
I also think Zach switched samples and the baby is his. And as for poor Trevor... I will say Janet's facial expressions speak volumes. She is clearly having fun with this role, even if it is painful for anyone who remembers the history to watch.
Lily totally cracked me up today explaining that she didn't think she could be Jonathan's girlfriend because he's in jail and "spends way too much time in here". She seemed to be fighting a horrible cold today too, poor kid.

Where is "Tim"...Natalies son...who Trevor raised..older brother to Amanda? No mention of him. Where exactly did he go off too. I remember they aged him a while back..and he was off at college or something..but with crazy Janet...wouldn't Amanda have thought of calling her brother when she wasn't able to get in touch with dear old l(ikely swimmin' with the fishies) dad?

Another thing..with all these people dissapearing...and Jamie knows that Janet has been around...seen her in his own apartment..it doesn't occur to him to mention to Tad..or anyone that Janet from another Planet is back in town? Though of us who watched back then know she left perfectly normal..but they have rewritten it as if she's always been a loon and never changed. So wouldn't seeing her around worry some people?...Especially Mr. Private Eye...Tad? Or has he been hittin' the sauce from the Old Orsini Winery again!

James Scott to Exit AMC

James Scott (Ethan Cambias) will be exiting All My Children later this year. His exit comes several months after soapcentral.com first reported that the actor's days were apparently numbered.

Scott joined the cast of All My Children in August 2004, a particularly active time for newcomers joining the show. He was immediately thrust into a front burner storyline as his character claimed to be the true heir to the Cambias fortune. From there, Ethan found romance with Kendall Hart, but the romance was short-lived. From there, Scott's airtime dwindled dramatically.

All My Children was the first American television gig for the English born actor. Before appearing on AMC, however, Scott did appear on the British soap, "EastEnders."

There is now rampant speculation that Ethan may be killed off in a major February Sweeps stunt. For more on that, please click here to read our related article.

A spokesperson for All My Children had "no comment" for this story.


(I had a horrible feeling that it was "the beginning of the end" for Ethan and / or Simone, when they got engaged. )

Leven Falls Ill

Due to an undisclosed illness, actress Leven Rambin (Lily Montgomery) has been temporarily sidelined. During her recuperation period, All My Children was forced to temporarily recast the role of Lily. Portia Reiners will appear as Lily from February 10th to February 17th. Rambin returns to the screen on March 1st.
