Sorry if this has been posted before, but does anyone have theories on Josh's parentage and how it occurred? With his dad's records on the Martin family, is it looking like Josh is the "aborted fetus" of Erica and Jeff Martin? Are there other theories about this y'all have discussed?

I toyed with the idea that he harvested some of Erica's eggs, used his own sperm and let his wife be the surrogate but I'm unsure if we produce more eggs while already pregnant; besides, why have the records on the Martin family?

We were all laughing the other day at Erica talking about her 'fans' waiting to see her. I have never seen a 5' tall showgirl.

Tad's hair does look a little better - still not short enough.

Anyboy else amazed at how quick people get jobs in Pine Valley???? Di needed a job and voila! And the people with jobs never go to work. I need to go live in Pine Valley!

yes..we've been discussing this here also..sort of gross. Time wise..it doesn't make sense either. We have talked about how this happened some 30 odd years ago. That this type procedure..while "really out there" now..would in no way have been feasible then. For that matter abortion was barely legal at the time she had the supposed procedure. On a personal note..if that is the way this story plays out..it is in REALLY poor taste.

I agree Aunty very poor taste. I don't mind a little fantasy but if this is true why has the Nobel Prize in medicine been awarded to Dr. Greg. But I have to admit it will be fun to watch Josh's face when he finds out.

If this whole storyline is to be believed the timing is waaaayyyy off. Josh is supposed to be in his late 20's or so and Jamie is supposed to be in his early/mid 20's. There was way more time difference in those story lines (like 2 decades). And Josh should be about 5+ years older than Kendall.

Ah yes, but time is no "object" in Pine Valley, as we know! And Erica is ageless, so we must believe anything about the ages of her children, her own age, etc.! I agree that it would be in very bad taste if they went through with this storyline, the way that we suspect that they will..........but it sure looks like that's the direction in which it is headed.

Jonathan was so sweet with Erica, yesterday - they sure know how to redeem a character!

I can't believe that Simone broke the news about the blackout to Kendall, inadvertently, yesterday! But I'm glad that she did, so that that whole part of the storyline doesn't get drawn out too long. At least Kendall knows, now. Of course, now she won't know who to trust..........again.........

How did Jamie and Aidan immediately recognize the substance in that tube to be "glue that you attach fake hair with - like a moustache or a beard"???? That's not the sort of thing that one usually has, lying around their home!

I agree with you all - we all really need to get jobs in PV - people are hired and fired there, all the time........but no one ever seems to actually work..........and no one ever seems to have financial worries, either, whether they are employed or not! Tad and Aidan must have a lot of "off camera" cases, because they always seem to do their detective work as favors for friends - for free! And who is running Fusion, these days - Danielle??? Neither JR nor Adam ever seem to go into their office, any more (and Krystal handles her business from home, with Palmer). Amanda goes to work, but never gets anything done and is constantly either hugging Jamie in the office or running out to "lunch". The only people who seem to work there, are those who work in the hospital!

What is with Kendell's flat stomach still?
In yesterday's show she had on tight jeans and a tiny shirt-no belly whatsoever!
If the she conceived the night of the blackout Sept. 20-she should be 4.5 months preggo by now. Shouldnt she be showing a little?
I bet Babe will show before Kendell. Maybe they will have their babies on the same day as well (just like Babe/Biance) and have them switched.

OH NO! Not ANOTHER baby switch storyline - that would be too much for us to handle, what with all the other stuff that the writers are expecting us to believe / accept, these days (ie: Dixie has been alive, all these years, Jonathan was "bad" because of a tumor, Janet could get away with all these crimes without anyone knowing, Josh may be the son of Erica and Jeff Martin......)

I agree - Kendall does not look pregnant, in the least! It's hard to believe all of this talk about her baby, when there is no evidence that she is carrying one (notwithstanding her morning sickness, of a few months ago)!

The PVPD is showing its incompetence, as usual - the officer allowed Erica to find a secret passageway out of the PVH restroom )), and right into the room of the person she stabbed, not even 24 hours beforehand! In the mean time, it doesn't seem like any of Janet's crimes are being investigated, at all, and they never "followed up" with Babe for "running over" Amanda with "her" car, either! But they throw Jonathan in jail and leave him there, at the drop of a hat (it used to be Zach or David who always got thrown in jail - now it's Jonathan)!

Meanwhile, the PV legal system is more than on top of things. Within less than a day, Erica stabbed Zach, went to jail, went to the hospital to have her toxin screening, and is now at the courthouse for her hearing - all without even changing her dress! Pretty speedy!

Wow - the Mardi Gras ball is "tonight" (according to Lily)??? That's one loooong day in PV! So Erica went to the casino to do her show, was drugged, went to jail, went to the hospital, went to court...........and will now have to go straight into hosting her Mardi Gras ball???? More power to her!

Erin was very annoying and rude, yesterday. She didn't even thank Lily for helping Jonathan or getting as much information as she did from the costume company.

I wonder if Greg is being subjected to multiple law suits, now - I'm sure that Greenlee's embryos and Ryan's sample were far from the only ones that were ruined / rendered not viable, the night of the blackout - it's a wonder that Greg still has a clinic, at all!

So Babe isn't pregnant, after all? Well, I guess that's good - it would just be one more thing for her and JR to needlessly fight about, if she was!

With everyone picking on Amanda, it's easy to see what Janet's "motivation" for the upcoming explosion is! Doesn't anybody question what the drugs found in Erica's system are "for" and where Amanda would have gotten such medication? If they determined what the medication is "for", it might point them straight to Janet (........or Jonathan, who is known for giving his emotional-balance-meds to other people..........but he's in jail, so he's "safe" from this one!).

Funny how Ryan and Di found out the "source" of the blackout quicker than Aidan, Tad, or the PVPD did!

Call me crazy(not that it hasn't been said before!)..but does it bother anyone but me that JR CONSTANTLY is calling Babe a slut? I mean the first couple of times..okay..for the effect. Now..it's almost every other scene they have together. Her character just brushes this off, with almost no mention of it. Writers need to get a thesaurus or something...to me it's an extremely derogatory term and shouldn't be tossed around so freely. Seems like whoever is writing dialog spends to much time watching Jerry Springer. Enough already..we get the point. The way JR screams all the time..who wouldn't have the point. This actor..while quite good looking..doesn't have much range. He is either SCREAMING..always angry...or moping. I don't know if it's him..or what they give him to say. However he was exactly the same way when he portrayed Lucky on GH. No demension to his charcter. The storyline dragging doesn't help that either I imagine.

AN EXPLOSION ROCKS THE MARDI GRAS BALL
Erica's masquerade Mardi Gras ball gets off to a roaring start. Ryan drops a bomb on Kendall when he tells her that Zach was the one who engineered the blackout that caused her to lose Greenlee's egg. Erica runs into Janet who insists that Josh was the one who drugged her instead of her Amanda. When Erica confronts Josh, she learns a shocking secret about her connection to him. And who's that masked woman secretly listening to her son JR telling Babe that he wants to marry her even without a pre-nup? None other than Dixie Cooney! Why has she come back now? Meanwhile, as the party goes on, Janet plots to destroy all of Pine Valley and not even her daughter can stop her!

AAAHHHH!!!! I'm dying to read that spoiler that you just posted, Pam, but I won't allow myself to do so!

I agree that JR spends too much time brooding, scowling, and calling Babe derrogatory names, Auntie...........but he sure is nice to look at!

I wish that Ryan would just leave Kendall and Zach alone, already...........even though we suspect that they are "doomed", anyway.

Speaking of "doomed", I felt sad watching Ethan and Simone's storyline, yesterday, knowing that he will soon be gone and Simone will be left alone, again.

Loved Lily and Jonathan (and Livia), yesterday! Who could have imagined, a few months ago, that it would be so cute and heartwarming to watch Lily and Jonathan together?? But they are adorable - despite their age difference. I'm sure that they won't let him be her "real" boyfriend, but maybe he'll be a "big brother-like boyfriend", like Aidan was to her, until she meets someone else her own age (............Petey Cortlandt, maybe??).

SPOILERS FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 6TH


Ryan and Ethan plot to see that Zach is exposed.

Zach comes clean with Kendall, admitting that he caused the blackout.

Kendall is devastated by Zach's admission of guilt and runs away from him.

Kendall lashes out at Ethan, Zach and Ryan for their part in everything that has happened.

Erica is furious when she is told that "New Beginnings" will be canceled unless she accepts Josh as her co-host.

Erica is stunned to learn that Josh was the one who drugged her.

Erica receives one shock after another when Tad tells her that she is Josh's biological mother.

Babe steps up her plans to get revenge on JR.

Amanda suddenly remembers that it was JR who was driving the car the night she was run down.

Jonathan is stunned when he recognizes Janet as the woman who has been tormenting him when she comes to visit Amanda in jail.


Janet corners Erica and asks for her help in getting Amanda released, but Erica refuses to lift a finger prompting Janet to hatch a dangerous plan of revenge.

Aidan and Erin grow closer to one another.

Jonathan sneaks away from the ski lodge and joins Lily at the gala.

Jack is fit to be tied when he spies Lily and Jonathan sharing a kiss.

Lily becomes upset when Jack confronts Jonathan, although Ryan agrees that it's not a good situation.

Dixie returns to Pine Valley.

I spent this past weekend with our own Faith (Poohbear123) at WDW. She was there for her big birthday weekend and she asked me to come visit her. We had a great time touring 3 of the 4 parks on Saturday and Sunday. I bought her a tiara to wear on her b-day (Sunday) and she did - it looked cute. Once she gives me the okay I will post some pics. She will be heading back to Miami tomorrow, Tuesday. Had a great time Faith, thanks.
