I watched a SoapNet special one day with Maurice Bernard. He's Bi-polar, which is why he's so great at "being" Sonny. He uses his past medical ups and downs to feed into his acting. The crowds may affect his manic state and he chooses not to go through that. I admire him for working with his illness and using it to make him a better person instead of letting it get the better of him.

Maurice Bernard was on Oprah last year talking about it. I have to admit I can totally sympathize with the crowds and his anxiety. My son has anxiety and it can really send you off.

I get that way in large crowds at times too. Like last year at SSW, we (me and another lady) were waiting to get into the place where they were having interviews with the stars and they had the "queue" area packed in tight. everyone was pushing and shoving. I about lost it, I had to get out there and fast. I get overwhelmed when the SuperWalmart is stocking and it is packed with customers. Oh well....

Erica sends Josh on a mission to find out if Greenlee and Kendall are lovers even though he knows the idea is ridiculous. Greenlee and Kendall finally tell Erica the truth about the surrogacy. Erica goes ballistic on Greg for engineering the whole thing and he suggests that she's so upset because of something she did years ago... Di and Julia work together to try and bring down the biggest criminal mind to hit Pine Valley. Will they be able to to trick Garret into believing they'll keep his secret? Babe is the only one who can soothe JR's temper when he gets upset over Di's disappearance and tries to find her. But is Babe still just putting on an act? And, Greenlee surprises Erin with a visit. »

Got some info for you guys. There is a thread on soapcentral.com about how the powers that be are slowly phasing out the older actresses (and no not the guys just the women). It's on the AMC thread under "The Writing is on the Wall". Interesting reading.

I had heard that was the plan back when they brought on all those teen-agers (what happened to all of them?) and then when they went with the "Fusion" storyline. They said they were going for a Sex in the City feel and that the older cast members were probably in trouble. I even remember "Jack" half-joking saying something about "if" he was still in the cast. For my money, things are better when we've got Brooke & Myrtle Palmer and Opal and the other "old" folks around than when we watch some of these younger actors pose and pout.

I certainly hope they don't get rid of some of the "older" characters. They are such great veterans & could have some great storylines. I was just thinking the other day that it would be nice to see Brooke & Zach together. I think they'd make a great couple.

........or even Brooke and Greg, MelsMice! I keep hoping that they will "put" someone else with him, so that they don't wind up threatening Erica's marriage to Jack! I'd been waiting for them to get married, for years, and I would hate to see them ruin that (so soon!) by having her get involved with Greg! I also agree that I would hate to see any of the characters who have been on the show for a long time leave PV - they really need to find more for them to do!

I agree that Garrett is doing an appropriately creepy job, both in "the Dragon" storyline, as well as with Dani. I hope that Di or Dani somehow reveal what a jerk this guy really is, Mimi feels horrible and remorseful and apologizes to Dani for failing to believe her.......and then winds up getting re-married to Derek! And I can't wait to see JR's and Tad's reactions when they find out that Di is not Dixie! In the mean time, they are really dragging things out. UGH.

Krystal and Adam are so much fun to watch! I knew that they would have great chemistry / comic timing together! And I knew that David would be mortified when he found out that they got married, too! Speaking of "fun to watch", where has Simone been, lately? She's always one to add a few good laughs to a scene! And where is Ethan??? We haven't seen him in ages!

You know, I don't understand how - if Garrett is supposed to be this sophisticated, all-knowing sort - he would EVER believe that Julia would "be on his side" and not turn him in, after he killed Noah! And Garrett promised Julia "years of safety, like the way that he has protected Di for all of these years"..........."protected??!!" She spent the past year in jail for a crime that she didn't commit - how "protected" is THAT?!!! (OK, she went to jail to protect one of his "men", but still.........)

Loved Kendall's little display with Greenlee, to annoy Erica, when she thought that the 2 of them were having an affair - very cute! I just can't believe that they are (apparently) going to go ahead with this Josh-being-Erica's-son / Kendall's-twin storyline. I still can't get used to this new Josh!

And we all know that Ryan, Erin, and Jonathan WILL eventually wind up back in PV..........I'm just curious to see how they are going to pull that off, with all of Jonathan's unpunished crimes and the "minor" fact that everyone thinks that Ryan is dead!

I can't believe that "The Carey girls" are keeping YET ANOTHER secret from everyone.........didn't they learn after the whole Miranda / Bess ordeal? Or the ensuing James / Little "A" ordeal?

I noticed it too, starting last week. I'm guessing he had veneers put on or something. Have you seen Hilary Duff? She had that done because she kept chipping her teeth on her microphones, and it's the same kind of look. I didn't ever realize they had bad teeth to start with, but it's very distracting.
