What's up with Erica & the "renowned" fertility doctor. Today she asked him to be on her new show - please tell me this is not going to lead to Erica trying to get pregnant! The actor playing the doctor has been around soaps a long time - they have to be brewing a fairly large plot for him.

If you ask me, most of these storylines are starting to stink. They are ruining Ryan's character, turning him into an idiot. This Dixie thing is a joke. What is it with AMC ruining characters lately, btw? Pheobe, Ryan, Dixie, Sweet little Amanda. This is just not fun to watch. Also, when Janet left, she had become healthy and was well liked by the audience. Now Amanda (of course she could be lying) is telling us that Janet is a nasty wack-job again. Come on.

They either need to get Krystal out of jail, somehow, or get rid of her. I wonder if the actress playing Krystal ticked off the show somehow, so they have her in an orange jumpsuit for months with no wardrobe, etc. This Babe/Jamie/JR triangle is getting tired too.

I find myself fast forwarding or doing other things when the show is on lately. The only funny one left is Simone. Even the comedian Tad is a boring sulk lately. Blech.

It is rather boring lately & some of these stories are just so far fetched - I know this is Soapland, but come on. Stealing sperm from a fertility clinic - that one tops the cake.

I like the "calgon take me away" type of stories too on Soaps, but this is just getting boring & far fetched.

Let's get some love interest/triangles for some of these characters & some drama & suspense.

What the heck was Kendall wearing today. Awful color on her. HMMMM not to impressed with the new doctor they need to give him some good dialogue but I do like him as an actor. Finally they made Maddie a little likable today. I'm glad they are sending Maria and Maddie the Terrible off on a good note but mother of God is Eva LaRue gorgeous or what. What I wouldn't give to fill out jeans like that plus she can act.

I am in the same boat with most of you. The show is just not interesting these days. The old exciting character have no storyline anymore.

I swear, this show PUTS ME TO SLEEP--Even when I am NOT tired! And your right, Sgt. its not FUN to watch at all!

I'm expecting Maddie to come back in a couple years as the next town tramp or something. Just about the time that Amanda becomes the Queen of Nice of Pine Valley.

The Dixie story is really out there. I had to laugh at David and Di today though. That was some acting job on both their parts. And is anyone else kinda gagged whenever JR says "don't talk to my MOTHER like that" - yuck, double yuck - Di/Dixie looks old enough to be his prom date, not his MOTHER!

I thought the tank tops that Di and Babe were wearing today looked just plain trashy. Especially Di's. It looked like some faded white shirt I've had for years, and with her pale skin, it did nothing for her. I can't stand Di, I hate her acting. Hopefully, she will be gone soon.

Now, I don't mind Di, when she's being Di. But passing her off as Dixie (even if she's just pretending to be Dixie) is nuts. And the fact that these brainless Pine Valley residents can actually believe her crazy story really tells you something about their intelligence.

I think most people that have massive facial injuries, even with lots of surgeries, are going to have some scarring leftover. Not Di/Dixie. She's got perfect, porcelain doll like skin. I need to meet her surgeon - I've got some imperfections I need some work on.

And the "I had reconstructive surgery on my VOCAL CORDS" was the ultimate kicker! So THAT explains the absence of Dixie's southern lilt...

If I'm having reconstructive surgery it's gonna be on my waistline. I like the Di/Dixie storyline but the actress really is very young.

Ditto to everything that everyone has said - about Amanda being too young (and just WRONG) for Aidan (by the way, they showed the big "Anita goodbye" scene with Aidan - but is Maria going to bother to stop by and say "goodbye" to him, too? OR Zach, for that matter?), about Erica's dress being horrible (it looks like someone squirted whipped cream on the top!), about the Greenlee story being ridiculous (and Ryan being a total idiot), and about the whole Di thing being totally unbelievable (the only thing that makes me question anything at all is the fact that she was able to identify her old, personal items in Tad's boxes and know the history behind them - David would not have been able to coach her on things like that. And the fact that she can recount to JR stories from his childhood - an imposter wouldn't know things like that).

I actually thought that the conversation between Babe and Di(xie) was kinda funny, yesterday: "You really hurt JR when you had the affair with Jamie", "Well, you would know about hurting people like that - like when you had the affair with MY FATHER!" They could go back and forth for hours: "you let my son believe his baby was dead", "yeah? Well you let your son believe that YOU were dead!"

Was yesterday really Maria's last episode? I really think that they need to bring some final closure to the Maria and Zach storyline, before she officially leaves PV. Also, even though it was nice that they showed that Maddie has finally "forgiven" Maria, I DID want to smack her - one last time - when she said "you really DID love dad......" Uh......isn't that what Maria had been trying to tell her for the many months that she was acting like a total brat and ignoring / disrespecting her??!!

I guess that Mimi is back in town for good? Funny how she said that she needed to get back home, to her job and to Garrett........and then 2 minutes later was agreeing to move into Greenlee's apartment for awhile!

Loved Lily and Sam kissing in the hallway with the lemons dropped on the floor!

I think he was talking to him. When he first found him outside the door at the clinic he said "I told you take the job in San Francisco". Why he wanted him there instead of PV is a mystery though.

A comment on Di/Dixie's supposed Plastic Surgury. A couple of you mentioned the scars. I have to laugh at the quality of plastic surgury these Pine Valley citzens get. Remember when Janet "had plastic surgury in prison" and came back looking completely different. Then you had Erica, who had some kind of metal pole rip through her face in a car accident coming back with her flawless skin (but same face) after plastic surgury. Now you have Dixie or Di, supposedly coming back from another horrific accident with a new face and a new voice. So she had severe damage to her voice, yet she still has a beautiful singing voice. What wonders those surgeons can do.

This whole thing is so implausible it is stupid. I never thought I would wish for this, but I want Cady McClain to come back, as Dixie, and slap the taste right out of Di's mouth.

So I guess the moral of the story is if you want plastic surgery go to Pine Valley!

Today, super episode. I was thoroughly entertained. Though I wish Tad would get just a little happy Dixie is alive. HMMMM Di/Dixie has a lot of chemistry with David.

Mimi, ok if I can't come back with Eva Larue's body I want to be Mimi. I hope they don't waste her on AMC like they did on the Bold and the Beautiful. Let's see what else can I complain/whine about. Oh Erica change the dress, it hurts to see you in it. I'm sure I'll come up with some more, I just had a cup of coffee and I don't want to waste the buzz.

Christine, I remember Dixie having heart surgery also. Maybe those wonderful plastic surgeons in Germany who reconstructed her face, also got rid of her scar from heart surgery.

Well, seeing as how wonderful her Swiss/German/whatever plastic surgeons were, they probably "fixed" that heart scar too.

I loved today's episode - much better. Still downright ridiculous, but entertaining nonetheless. They left us with a couple real cliffhangers (at least those of us who have defied the spoilers ).

I'm chomping at the bit to see what David and Di will do to explain their little "deal" to JR. But coming attractions make it look as though they're going to string us along until Friday on that one.

Am I the only one who thinks Dr. Greg Madden is creepy?
