So let's talk Di. Happy they explained that David baited Tad with planted prints. That helps give the writers their credibility back - I was worried.

So my question is - now almost everyone thinks Di is Dixie. But Adam keeps on harping about the DNA test. What then? Does David have some secret way to plant Dixie DNA? Or - will JR continue to insist this couldn't be his mother and that Adam should drop the whole thing?

Time will tell.

And Simone is the best. Give her a big, juicy storyline.

Anyway, how exactly are we suppose to believe that David planted Dixie's fingerprints??? Where did he get them and how did he put them on something of Di's???

The Di story is just too hard to believe. Even though we now know that David planted the makup case, the whole story line makes no sense.

I agree with those that say give Simone more of a story. She is just too funny.

David said it was Dixie's makeup compact, the only thing he had that was Dixies, so he stuck it in Di's purse. Now of course, that happens to be the one and only thing Tad grabs for prints, yeah right.

Now, for the DNA test, that's a little trickier, but they always seem to find ways around that. Heck, David was her doctor, he probably has a vial of her blood in his dr. Jekyll lab for safe keeping LOL.

I wouldn't be surprised if David DID have a vial of Dixie's blood lying around somewhere, Erika! What was he doing with her compact, anyway? ("......it's one of the few things that I had left of Dixie......" Was he obsessively collecting her belongings, during the 2 second that they were having their "affair", or something?!)

I agree with what you posted earlier, Erika - it really seems like the writers are purposely being vague about whether Di really IS Dixie and trying to cover all their bases (or not), to buy time while they see if they can get Cady to come back to the show. It's almost like they're hesitating to commit one way or the other, so that they won't have too much backpedalling to do, in the event that Cady DOES come back and reclaim HER rightful place as Dixie!

I hope that Mimi doesn't take Danielle with her - I like her character! Maybe Mimi will decide to stay in PV, instead, and shake things up with Derek?

So bored with Greenlee's pursuit of Ryan's sample. And of Ryan hallucinating and seeing his father and brothers. So boring and ridiculous.

I knew that Tad would give in and say that Sam could live with him! Even though it's totally implausible that Maria would ever leave one of her children behind in PV, I think that it will be interesting to see the rapport between Sam and Tad - I really think that they could help each other through their respective "crises". Maybe Kelsey will even come back, eventually!

I certainly hope that the writers don't make "Di" the real Dixie. I like the actress that plays Di, but I just don't like her as Dixie. She doesn't give me the "warm Dixie feel". Know what I mean!

Ryan got mad and strangled David (of course we're supposed to think he's dead, yeah, we buy that).

JR gave Di dixies necklace and they hugged, which was kinda sweet, but still so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!! Di (the character not the actress) must be one heck of an actress to show such emotion when she talks to Tad and JR!

The 3 stooges were caught by the Duke Lavery's (sorry, I know that's not his name LOL) son, and don't know if he will turn them in or not (not I'm sure LOL).

Did I miss anything, I wasn't paying much attention cuz it's all so dumb now!

I'll tell ya, for people who have only recently begun watching AMC and aren't familiar with Dixie's character, history, etc. - I'll bet that they are pretty puzzled over why all of the other characters keep making Dixie out to be some sort of "saint"..........because Di (as "Dixie") has certainly not been the sweet, innocent, angelic, peacemaker-type that everyone keeps characterizing Dixie as having been! Everyone keeps saying that Dixie was the best-loved woman in town, could solve any problem, could make anyone feel better.......and yet half the time when we see Di(xie), she is yelling at or upsetting someone!

The scene with JR and the wishing star necklace was very sweet - if implausible - yesterday, though.

Poor Brooke! Within the course of 2 months, she lost her Aunt Phoebe, her son ran off with his brother's wife and baby, returned, was tried in court, and now lives in squalor and "shame", Ed-dumb died and left her in charge of his estate (and children), she'll soon learn that she'll be needed to play "surrogate mother" to Sam at Tad's place, AND now she learns that Dixie is "back from the dead"! I'm surprised that she didn't faint from exhaustion on Tad's doorstep when she arrived to confirm the latest piece of earth-shattering news, yesterday! Next she will find out that Laura is returning to town, or something! Or maybe Pierce will finally come back to pick up their relationship, where they left off when he said "....I'll be back....." and then never came back!

The whole thing with the sperm bank is too ridiculous to comment on, and Ryan and his behavior are too annoying to discuss!

JR accepts that Di is his mother leaving Adam enraged.

Josh distracts Greg to keep him from finding Kendall, Greenlee and Simone

David refuses to help Greenlee.

Erica offers Kendall a job as producer of her brand new talk show.

David accepts the vials from Greenlee promising only to hold them for her.

Josh tries talking Erica into giving him a job.

Greg confronts Greenlee about the vials that suddenly mysteriously disappeared from the clinic.

Sam is ecstatic when he learns he can stay with Tad for the summer in Pine Valley.

Greenlee finds a way to keep Greg from telling Ryan the truth.

Kendall is stunned by what she overhears Zach say about Ryan.

Erica agrees to a trial run with Josh working for her.

Babe becomes suspicious of David's behavior.

Tad cannot forgive Di for the pain she has caused.

Di is furious with David for his attack on JR.

Di asks JR for his forgiveness.

Krystal is stunned and calls David after seeing a photo of Di.

Jamie begins to see right through Amanda.

After having a nightmare, Ryan sneaks out.

I resisted the spoilers - even though it was hard to do!

I need a little back story on David please. I believe during his fight with Ryan he said something like "a little brother-in-law advice". Is he Ryan's brother-in-law? If so, how?

About the DNA test - here's where I'm confused. Won't they need to take blood or a cheek sample directly from Di to compare with an authentic Dixie sample? How can David possible make that match?

The sperm bank story is way out in leftfield, but somehow, I'm enjoying it.

Greenlee's dead (???) husband Leo is David's half brother so Greens is David's sis in law.

Umm David having Dixie's DNA. I dont know how that would happen - although David & Dix did have an affair and I think David operated on her heart....I think. So knowing how sick he is, he may have kept some of her blood. You know how the writers like to pull things out of their butts in hopes we will believe it.
