Well, that's interesting. Are you sure it wasn't a renewal ceremony? On her official website she posted a message on 1/2/07 telling fans what a wonderful holiday she and David had. She married David Steen on July 4, 1992. All the photos on her website are of her and David.

that IS weird, unless the year is a typo but that would be a heck of a typo! Sorry to say i don't remember the name of her "new husband" when it was mentioned. Could have been a renewal ceremony but she was wearing a beautiful gown (white) like it was the first. I am really wondering about this now!

I have seen it confirmed that Sydney Penny is pregnant IRL. It's her first and she's been married for 11 or 12 years.

I did know that Sydney Penny is pregnant. I had heard she was wondering whether they would be writing it into the storyline or not.

I didn't see Linda tell Julia about Kathy being adopted either. I think at one point the scene was "alluding" to that conversation but I never saw it actually occur, although I did miss an episode or 2 over the last few weeks.

It is not a typo. I heard her on TV a couple of years ago talk about her wedding which, as I recall, was in a drive-thru chapel in Las Vegas. And she and David had already been together a number of years when they married. So maybe it was a renewal ceremony since they didn't have a real wedding to begin with.

If you ever hear her speak of her husband she seems ga-ga in love with the man. Same with pictures of them together. I mean, look at them...

I could have sworn that I heard that the woman who plays Krystal - Bobbie Eakes (sp?) is pregnant is real life. She is in her 40's. Did anyone else hear that?

LOL! I'm thinking you must have too. I questioned you on this when you first posted she might be pregnant IRL since she was newly married because I was pretty sure she had been with the same man for 20+ years.

First of all, congrats on the new grandbaby.

As to whether you missed anything on the show today I would say, yes, you did. I think the show has been great lately (especially the last 2 episodes) but since I seem to be alone in that belief I hardly feel like wasting my time with a daily synopsis (as I use to do in the good ol' days). Seems it would fall on deaf ears with this crowd.

But I still love ya even though you want my favorite show on TV cancelled.

Okay, upon rereading my post last night in response to Faith I realize it was a bit snarky. But Faith knows me and I hope she will take it in the spirit in which it was intended. You know I love ya, girlfriend!

Although I'm snarky by nature I will plead that I was in the throes of a pre-trip meltdown at the time of that posting. DH and I leave this afternoon to drive to Galveston to spend the night before our 4-day cruise tomorrow. It is a getaway we both need badly.

It's just kind of hard to come here and read all the bashing when I'm actually enjoying the show. And, believe me, I have done my fair share of bashing in the past. Just ask Faith, or Christine, or Lisa (hey, where is Lisa anyway?!).

I should probably just stay away. But I guess it's like those of you who bash the show yet continue to watch and want to know what happens if you miss it. Sort of like watching a train wreck.

I promise to come back from my trip refreshed and un-snarky. Yeah, right. I kill myself sometimes.

I'm out of here until Tuesday. Bash away!

I hate to admit it but I liked today's episode. Ryan finding out Emma was his and Kendall ran a DNA test was great. And Zach drugged out on the truth serum was funny. Though I find it funny that truth serum is apparently readily available in Pine Valley.

I'm going into the hospital on Friday morning for surgery and I'm not sure when I'll be home again. Am I going to miss Dixie's murder? I'm trying to figure out how to tape Friday's show so that my husband and son don't change the channel and I wind up taping 12:00 Noon on the Disney Channel instead. I figure I can watch all next week's show on next Sat on SoapNet if I need to, but I know they don't have SoapNet at the hospital to watch this Friday's show. Am I sick or what???

And what is with the police and Kenny the Killer? Do they just not get him??? Actually, he probably is just the red herring in this case.
