I saw Soap Opera Digest Magazine in the store over the weekend and the cover story was "Maria Regains Her Memory".

That is pretty disapointing. Here you have this grand event where David and Anna named this baby after Leo. Now his namesake will die too. I hate to say it but we used to talk about how this show was like All My Dead Children, but they haven't done something so morbid in years. Pretty depressing. I find myself not watching every episode anymore and getting my updates here on the episodes I miss. I really wish they would improve the storylines fast...

Maybe their killing off Leora means "the beginning of the end" for Anna on AMC - are there still rumors about Finola Hughes leaving the show? Or maybe they'll create a love "square" between Anna, David, Jack, and Erica? Who knows. I think it's a bad move to have the baby pass away, too. And I can't believe that Ed-dumb is the one who leaked the news to the public!

Why do you think we all call him Ed-Dumb! Missed the show today, but I guess I didn't miss much? Oh, thats right--I saw the ending with Ed-Dumb bringing in the fake Maddie--who acts WAY better than the REAL one--LOL, in the house, and than throwing it on the floor, saying: "Come and get my family you SOB!" Hope you all had a nice Mothers Day!

Maybe Maddie will suffocate under all of those towels, in the laundry bin! I know that that's mean, but I can't take her whining, any more. Last night, my DH said "why couldn't Vanessa have taken Maddie and stranded HER on a sinking boat?" - maybe that will wind up happening, seeing as how she, Aidan, and Maureena are now on that yacht (is that the Fidelity, which we haven't seen since the old IncredibleDreams.com days??!!)! And how did the police department - or whomever - have access to that yacht, anyway? Do they just happen to have yachts hanging around for people in the witness protection program, or something? Are Noah and Julia hiding out on another part of that yacht, as well?? All of this "adventure" stuff is a little ridiculous. And I can't believe that no one has noticed that Chris is missing, to date. The only people who knew that he was leaving town were Jack and Erica - doesn't anyone else (like Aidan, for example) wonder where he is????? It seems like the whole PVPD is dedicating itself to protecting Wildwind (where were they, when Flanders showed up there, yesterday? Were they all out arresting Simone again, or something - even though she's already in jail?!), and no one cares who the man was, whom Maddie saw being dragged off by "the shooter"!

It was nice to see Jan Brady on the show, again! But come on - did Michael really buy that whole Erica-with-a-knife thing? If he's supposed to be such a savvy manipulator, wouldn't he have been able to see right through Kendall and Erica's little performance?? so stupid. I am glad that Bianca found out about Lena and is "on board" with Erica's plan, now. It will be interesting to see how they all "bring down" Michael and Lena. And it will be interesting to see where - if anywhere - Bianca and Lena's relationship goes, after it's all over. I wonder if Lena will stick around PV, after her connection to Michael is exposed.

Why does Liza care about WRCW, all of a sudden, by the way? She completely forgot about it (or at least never talked about or seemed interested in it) when she was working for Chandler Enterprises "proper"..........and now all of a sudden she's insisting that it's the key to her daughter's future, etc. I guess it was "running itself" - the way that the hospital is "running itself" with no chief of staff, and SOS is "running itself" with no Mateo - during the years in which Liza and Tad were "taking over" Adam's business. I wish that Liza and Tad would go back and work at WRCW - the plots were always interesting, when they were there. I guess they don't really know what to do with Tad, now - it seems like they are "trying on" different previous careers for him - will he be a private eye, again? Or work in television? Maybe he will go back to the wine business!

It seems like the writers just don't know which way to go, with some of these storylines, so they just "skip over" certain things and expect the audience to accept them. Jack recovered and got out of the hospital pretty quickly, didn't he?? I really thought that there would be some "preludes to love scenes" between him and Anna, while he was there......but he wasn't there long enough for her to see him! And who's been "taking care of" Reggie, while Jack was in the hospital? Since Janelle showed up, the other day, are we to assume that he was staying with her, while his guardian, Jack, was in the hospital?

Well, I guess that Maureena will be getting her memory back, soon. I really don't want her to - she's going to be so boring and high-and-holy as Maria (a la the way that she talked down to Mia, the other day: ".....what she needs is her MOTHER!" UGH.), and she's so much more interesting as Maureen, with Aidan. What will Aidan do, when that happens?? Comfort Mia?? Disappear like Frank Hubbard?

so...is this the plot that's going to bring erica, kendall, and bianca together as a family? i didn't get to see much today, but what i did see was really touching...i can't wait to see what they do to bring michael down!!

i guess i'm in the minority here about maria/maureen. i want her to get her memory back!! i liked her when she was with edmund...mia and edmund make me ill. i like mia, most of the time, but i don't like her with edmund. i like aidan...but not with maria...hmmmmmm, maybe aidan and mia should hook up.

LOL! Today's preview shows Reggie asking Erica where his room is.

I agree that it seems like the writers are skipping over a lot of details. Jack going to out lunch less than a day after his near death experience was one of them. I'm thinking Leora is going to "die" just because they don't know where to go with the family storyline for Anna and David.

Eve Plumb (aka Jan Brady) seemed to be showing her age....actually more than her age. I'm pretty sure she's younger than I am and I didn't think she looked it. Almost matronly.

just fyi...if anyone watches montel...the gals that play anna, kendall, greenlee, simone, and mia are on! they are doing a make over show for guys...something about the sexiest man or something and the guys are competing to get a spot in the final competition thing for the man of fusion...

they have these guys doing some kissing scenes with simone and it's cracking me up!

I also hope Maureen gets her memory back. I liked Maria and Edmund, and I think we got ripped off, by bringing her back and making her someone else.

I loved the scenes with Erica and Kendall today, I hope they actually carry through with this, and don't make Erica hate her again. Kendall needs a break, and I get tired of Erica being a witch.

I thought I missed something when Jack was at the Valley Inn all of the sudden. Guess they got bored with his hospital storyline.

Yes, they are definitely on the Fidelity. Didn't Adam buy that from Ryan? I was wondering how they got access to it as well. Who knows.

Kelly Ripa has a primetime sitcom on ABC this fall. It stars Kelly and Faith Ford. It's called Faith and Hope (or Hope & Faith?). Kelly plays a soap opera star who gets canned and comes to live with her older sister's "normal" family. (Kathie Lee must be having a fit.)
I guess we won't be seeing much of Hayley on AMC anytime soon.

Boy, Jack sure did RECOVER Quickly! I mean, one day he is in the Hospital and the next he is up and about and wearing a SUIT to Boot! I want to go to THAT Hospital and recover! I saw some of the show today, missed the first 10 min, and than the last 10 min! Did I miss anything? Oh, and yes the scenes with Erica and Kendall were very touching, but, alas, they will NOT last folks! Take care gang.

Nice to see you, Brandie! I always used to love Edmund and Maria together, too..........but now I just can't get past the image of him slinging her over his shoulder, like a sack of potatoes, throwing her on the bed, and locking her in her bedroom! He's not the same Edmund that he used to be.......but then again, I guess that she's not the same Maria, either! At least he's been seeming a bit more rational, now. Though I don't particularly like him with Mia, either. I do like Maureen and Aidan together, though - sorry! I'm sorry that I missed the Fusion women on Montell - that must have been funny!

Hi Erika! I think that Adam always owned the Fidelity, and just allowed Ryan to use it as his home and home base for IncredibleDreams.com because Adam actually owned THAT company, too (remember how he always used to threaten to shut down Ryan's business if he didn't start making money, etc.?). It's just funny that we haven't seen that ship for years, until now. Isn't that where the infamous Libidozone party took place? And where numerous people wound up getting pushed into or falling into the water? (Greenlee, Laura, Vanessa, Alex)

I agree with you, Pam - Jan Brady didn't look very good, when we saw her, this week. Maybe it's just the way that they are dressing her? She's looked much younger than that, when I've seen her on other shows in the recent past. I heard about Kelly Ripa's new sitcom, too. So much for leaving "AMC" because she "wants to spend more time with her family".............

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I didn't find anything particularly intriguing about Carlos's infomercial. I think that I would be more likely to be freaked out than turned on, if I was up in the middle of the night and all of a sudden, the program I was watching was interrupted by this guy looking directly into the camera and talking about how "the eyes are the windows of the soul", etc.! He's cute and sweet and all, but I just can't see him as a match for Greenlee, no matter how they show them together!

I wonder if Mia is going to save the day by hitting Flanders with her crutches? Or boxing with him, or something?

it was hysterical! i guess the guys were doing scenes with all of them. i just walked in on the simone part. in the end, montel wanted to do the scene with kendall. and while they started kissing, greenlee hops in there and she and kendall get intot cat fight over him. it was really funny...

I just KNEW that Mia was going to use those crutches to try to beat up Flanders! And she got some of her kick boxing moves in there, too! Just when we're convinced that Mia is a total bland wimp, she rises to the occasion! I think it's ridiculous that Ed-dumb didn't think to look for her at WildWind. And even more ridiculous that Maureen would have Maddie try to reach Ed-dumb on his house phone.......when 2 seconds later, Aidan had the wherewithall to do the logical thing.......CALL HIM ON HIS CELL PHONE! You don't want to be calling someone's house phone, when that person is trying to lure a killer into the home!

It was nice to see Erica and Kendall sort of getting along. I liked when Erica took Kendall's hand, the other day. Kendall's acting has definitely improved since her head bobbing days! I enjoy watching her, now! I can't believe that she thought she would get away with copying Michael's files, right in his living room, though.

Reggie was pretty funny with Erica and Jack, too!

I'm really mad that I missed that "Montell", Brandie - that sounds like a great episode! Maybe they will repeat it, some time!

Just saw today's episode. If Maureen remembers Maddie's birth........does she also remember how Erica immediately took the baby away from her and left her there, in the cabin, stranded, to recover on her own?? And does she remember how Erica tried to pass Maddie off as her own adopted child, "Natasha", for the first few months of her life? Or how her pregnancy was dramatic because she believed that her baby was really Dimitri's, throughout it? I guess she doesn't remember "specifics", yet.

Funny how Ed-dumb's cell phone looks more like a regular cordless phone than a cell phone!
