By the way, I visited the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, and David Canary was one of the honored athletes. I wrote him and enclosed a picture of the award (which he already knew about), and received a fabulous letter back from him. I "loved" him when I was a little girl as "Candy" in Bonanza, but now whew, what a man!!!

Thank you so much for the invite - after I posted my (well, what I thought could be a good debate) on the debate board regarding what is being offered in colleges now-a-days, I thought I'd be blacklisted or whatever that term is!!!

Nice to see the welcome - and yes, I definitely am showing my age with this next one also ------ I was head over heels for Howard Keel (remember "Dallas" - Clayton Farlow, first Suellen's love then the Mr. to Miss Ellie?) Ahhh, those eyes, that white mane of hair, that voice.....

How did I ever get from David Canary to Howard Keel to Keith Hamilton Cobb? I'll take my dreadlocked hunk over them all now though!!!!!

Do you remember when Erica's daughter Kendall came - Sarah Michelle Gellar? Well, I said to a friend, "that girl is going places" - never thought she'd be off the show and such a big star as she is, but she was talented!!! I liked her so much that I even watched "Buffy"!

And Richard Lawson, he was a great actor also! Haven't seen anything about him in years - he was on the New York jet that slid off the runaway and into the Hudson many winters ago - he talked about the man who helped them, seems quite a miracle for them to have "walked" on the water with this man's help - but his story was compelling and thorough believeable with many witnesses to agree.

Yup, I'm going to stick around for a while, friends!

What the heck is up with Carlos? Oops, sorry, that's NuMateo Wannabe. First he barely speaks a word of english, and now all of the sudden he doesn't even hardly have an accent??? Wow, those american girls must have really rubbed off on him. But, I suppose someone who is named Sidney Bergeron wouldn't have an accent huh?

Another "Dallas" fan. I LOVED that show. Watched it religiously from the very first episode in '78 until it's demise in '91. I think I have seen every episode about 3 or more times.. That and Knot's Landing were shows I would NEVER miss.

I loved Sarah on AMC. She played a great Kendall. I was a little worried when Alicia Minshew took on the part but she has adapted Kendall quite well to her personality. Sarah and Susan Lucci supposedly didn't get along. I would have loved to hear exactly what they didn't like about each other.

I heard (rumor mill) that it was because Sarah once "upstaged" Susan during a take. But who knows. Two strong personalities always conflict, especially in theater when one is an aging diva and the other is a young up and coming star.
And I really do like Susan Lucci also!

I was overseas when Dallas started and never got to see it from the beginning. I was wondering, "Who shot JR? Who's JR?" Then I found out since my Mom was a huge fan. The sitcom "SOAP" also started during that time, and again, what a great show!
I sort of missed the 70's being overseas all the time, but hey, did I really miss out - there are soooo many reruns to catch now-a-days!

It's amazing that you can leave AMC (or any soap) and come back later and the people don't seem to age but their children are now adults?! How does the magic of TV do that?! I want to buy some of that stuff! Beats the heck out of pixie dust!

Yes, they fired everyone over the age of 21 and have renamed the show from "All My Children", to "All my talentless teen actors"

I am all for that. AMC has some of the more talented actors (excepting this recent crop of teens) on daytime TV, but the writers lately don't seem to be able to write very well for them. It is pretty sad, actually.

Wouldn't you just love to get the opportunity to write for a soap?! I know I would.

But which character or would I develop a new one?! Ahhh, yes, a brand new one - an older woman who is sexy, feisty and sort of a combination of Myrtle Fargate and Opal!!

I get tired of the "return from the dead" stories - the worst one being the night time soap "Dallas" and Bobby's dream year (GAG!).

Hi Everyone!

Yes, I also think that Liza has been looking great, lately - much more glamorous and less frumpy than when she used to spend her days skulking around the mansion! And I just love the scenes with Lysistrata! I hope that they keep her around - she is adorable, and plays well with every character who shares a scene with her. Loved Liza bopping Adam with the "bopper", today!

And I really think that Maggie and Henry are cute together - they are the only "young couple" on the show that I like!

Mia made me ill, when she threw herself at Carlos, today. When Simone does it, it's funny. When Mia does it, it's pathetic. I can't stand her. And I also noticed how his accent mysteriously disappeared, today.......

I'll bet that "Sidney Bergeron" is Carlos's landlord, or something, whose computer he borrows.

Kendall begging Erica's forgiveness? This should be interesting....
And I liked the rapport between Petey and Kendall.......now he will be stuck with boring Drone Chick as his nanny.......I feel his pain......we're stuck watching her!

Aprille is back from her vacation - I'm sure that she is just busy with work and settling back in! I'm sure that she will post as soon as she catches up on all of the episodes and on all of our posts!

Haven't seen today's show, yet, but I can't wait to see Simone's reaction to finding a rumpled Mia and Carlos in Mia's apartment, in the morning!

By the way, didn't Brooke tell Jamie "I'll never leave you, again", after she got back from her "Maria hunt" in Nevada.......and there she was, running out the door, on a business trip yesterday! Kind of like the way that Tad has told both Jamie and JR the same thing.....then he ran off with Brooke on the "Maria hunt". And how is Brooke supposed to feel about Tad's kissing Liza.......when he just kissed and practically proposed marriage to HER, a few months ago! Poor Jamie - his mother slept with JR's father and his father is fooling around with JR's step mother.......no wonder he was destined to become interested in JR's "girlfriend"! ("Girlfriend"?? Didn't JR and Laurie break up like 100 times, already??)
