So now, Jake is going to disappear like Frank. I wonder if Vanessa's back kidnapping all the young male Drs. in Pine Valley and using them for experimentations of some sort. Eww.. LOL!

My wife and I watched Monday's ( I think) show this morning and were laughing at the 'expensive' dresses. She thought Mia's looked like she had woken up in bed and just wrapped herself in a bedsheet before going to the party. The dresses were terrible. Opal looked absolutely fantastic though. I also explained to my wife this AM, the 'special names' we have for the young actors on AMC. Call them what you want, she says, they can't act, LOL. How true.

I don't like the way they are ending this Jake storyline. We see him in a closet with Allison, and now he's gone, and just leaves a note behind? Blech!

I'll join y'all in mangling Spanish! LOL My DH is Puerto Rican, and I know a teeny, tiny bit of Spanish, only from hearing him and my inlaws for so many years!

I caught the tail end of a commercial on Soap Net this afternoon. It was sort of like the "Fusion" video but it was the guys and the banner was something like "The Hot New Men of AMC". I've got to see the whole thing. Has anyone caught it?

The Jake storyline ending was ridiculous. It seems like someone just came in and said "end these stories tomorrow, don't worry about tying up any loose ends."

I'm still a few days behind. How did they tie the Jake thing up, was it seriously with a note. He left Pine Valley, left his job and left his family and just left a note. If this is true, it has to take the cake for bad writing.

That is really rancid... I am beginning to wonder why I keep watching. Of course if I weren't watching, I wouldn't be able to make fun of the show here, so.... What's next, Trey will leave and just call Kendall and say he is never coming back?

That was soooo darn lame how they let Jake leave the show. I wanted a confrontation!!! I wanted to see Mia give him what he deserved.

Umm so are they playing it this way: M & M will go back to Ed-dumba55 just for the childrens sake and the Aiden will comfort Kendall and they will get together. YUCK!!!! I do not like Aiden with Kendall - she is better with Boyd, Boyd, Boyd. I want Aiden with M & M darn it!!!

In a way I wish M & M would have stood up to Momma Santos more, give poor memory loss victim a break.

Maybe someone can clear up something from yesterday's show, when Tad unlocked the door to the Jake's office and found the resident/girlfriend sitting at his desk.....what was that all about? Why was she in there? Did she have the note or was it lying on the desk?

Well, there is no confirmation of this yet, but I just checked in to Jack Scalia's website and there is a rumor there that he will be leaving AMC as of May-Let's hope that's not true. Several fans have posted that, but he has not confirmed. I can almost believe it-It's hard to imagine what storyline he would have without Erica-AMC really has gone to the "young" dogs lately?? Sigh. I can't deal without Jack Scalia-What will I do?

So glad that I didn't inadvertently offend you, Sarge - I was worried that I came across the wrong way!

I am also enraged at the way that they ended Jake's tenure on AMC. He's a major character - shouldn't they have given him a better send off? Or a send off AT ALL??!! And I was also wondering A) How and why Tad had the key to Jake's office and B) why he didn't seem surprised to see Allison sitting in there with the door locked and C) why Allison - if she is so obsessed with Jake - wouldn't have noticed, much less opened and READ the notes that he apparently left behind at some point for Tad and Mia (why did she ask Tad "if you hear from Jake, tell him I was looking for him"......when there were 2 notes in his handwriting sitting right on the desk in front of her?!!)!! Very ridiculous, all around! I didn't see today's show yet, but Simone is going to tell Mia about Jake?? So lame! And why wouldn't Jake have left notes for his parents, as well? They BOTH work at the hospital! And he just resigned as Chief of Staff?? Wouldn't Palmer and the other Board members need to know that??

In the mean time, why would Aidan answer the hotel room door half dressed....and why would Maureena just sit there, all exposed in her underwear, in full view of whomever was at the door?? Of course it had to be Isabella.......and of course she had to give Maureena the whole guilt speech. Doesn't she realize that Maureena was never "Maria" to begin with?? I REALLY hope that they don't lamely tie up this storyline the way that Christine predicted. I like Aidan with Maureena much better than Ed-dumb! And I'd much rather see Kendall with BoydBoydBoyd than with Aidan (although I think that Christine is right - they'll probably at least have an affair, to comfort one another after Maureena goes back to Wildwind and after Kendall figures out that Michael is a jerk). UGH.

Pam - I don't have Soapnet, so out of curiosity, who were "the hot new men" who were shown in the commercial? How about the "hot-men-who-were-let-go-to-make-room-for-no-talent-useless-actors-like-Frog-Boy", like Trey, Jake, and Frank???!! (OK, Jake wasn't "let go", but you get the idea!)

Very interesting bet that BoydBoydBoyd and Bianca have.....I wonder if through this bet, they will figure out that Lena is a spy of some sort? I'm telling you - she's going to wind up being Michael's wife, or something!

Update: There is a confirmation on Jack Scalia's website that he will be leaving AMC during the May sweeps-so that means he will not be at Super Soap Weekend next year-Will you girls still go??

This is really disapointing. Jake, Trey, Chris who else is going. Aren't you ladies getting angry?? Maybe they can rename the show "All my Fusion?" It's like all they will have is women and young (and ugly and talentless) men on this show eventually. So, if Chris is leaving we can almost assume that Erica and Jackson will become an item again. God forbid Erica be without a man for more than 30 seconds.. That is such a tired old storyline, I hope it doesn't happen. Eva LaRue better hope that Maurona gets her memory back or she may have come back to AMC just in time to see her husband be canned from the show. Without Maurona, what will Ed-dumb do? Maybe they will hook him up with Brooke again? Kendall? Simooooaaann?

This person who took over ABC daytime has really been messing things up, hasn't he?

I only caught the one glimpse of the "hot men" commercial. I'm keeping an eye out for it to try to see who they've got in it. Maybe I'll catch it this weekend during the marathons.

AMC Watch -- David Letterman had a real sore eye on his show Monday night. It has turned out to be shingles and he has been having guest hosts all week. I heard Regis Philbin say he is the host tonight and he taped the show yesterday. Among his guests is.....LaLucci.

Also, isn't Edmund's beard growing very quickly? I don't think he had one at the airport and a day later he's got quite a start? Maybe he is going to turn into a werewolf and disappear into the night howling "Maria"

My condolences to the Jack Scalia fans. I know, I know...when Leo was leaving, I swear there was NO TOMORROW!!!

Anyhoo, ok I don't think anyone has mentioned it but wasn't MIA's SLAPPPP! really, REALLY realistic?? I mean, some of those poorly choreographed and executed fight/ shoot scenes are so hysterical but WOW, Mia!!! It really looked like she slapped Greens, Simoan and that dumb resident REALLY HARD! WHAP!

And the scene where Jake's mistress/dumb resident (is she a resident?) was looking for a letter for HER.

And I agree about the Boyd/Binks bet...very refreshing and worldly response from Binks! I swear I thought she'd break down and whine when confronted with the possibility that Eurospy lady might not be batting for the all-girls team. Wasn't this a story line 5-10 years ago from a B-movie with B-actors? Still, I think it might be a fun ride.

Hey Everyone!

I was thinking about Mia's slaps, too, Jeannie! But I sort of wondered......given the fact that she mentions every 5 seconds having grown up "behind a gym" and Frank used to call her "Rocky" and all.....don't you think she would have PUNCHED all of those people, instead of slapping them??? I wanted to slap HER when she started whining and crying like a spoiled brat, in the Fusion office, and everyone was comforting her - what a bratty wimp! They all should have hit her back - she had no right to go around slapping Simone and Greenlee......Allison, maybe, but not her friends! I can't believe the stupidity of this storyline. And guaranteed, by the next episode, Mia will have forgotten all about Jake.....the way that Simone got over Frank in the course of one episode. I can't believe that they would have had Allison come BACK into Jake's office, looking for him, with Mia THERE, and asking if there was a note for her - was that supposed to be some kind of joke? And frankly, why is Mia so surprised that Jake was having an affair, since she's spent absolutely no time with him since she got out of the hospital! So ridiculous.

I can't believe that Chris is leaving now, too! So sorry to hear that! I do like Jack and Erica together, but it's just a shame that yet another great, main character is leaving the show. What's going on, over at ABC daytime?? They must be making people so uncomfortable that they are leaving in droves.

Liked the conversation between Aidan and Kendall, yesterday. Maybe they will have them just be friends, instead of throwing them back together romantically. That would be good. And I also liked the scene with Erica and Chris - I thought that it was well done (why should Erica complain that Chris hired a bodyguard for her, without asking, when she lined up and entire new career for him, without asking?!). And so glad that Opal stood up to Erica, too.

Pam - I noticed Ed-dumb's "insta-beard", as well - well, you know - hair just appears and disappears episode by episode on AMC.......like Mia's hair extensions and ever-changing hair length and color! I guess the theory applies to men's facial hair, as well! Maybe he WILL turn into a werewolf, go off howling into the night.......then we'll never have to witness his chauvinistic, controlling demeanor, again! I still haven't forgiven him for the way that he treated Brooke, when Maureena came back.....
