All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Bella's hair is getting so long! I love how bright blonde it is, too :goodvibes

I need to make it a point to stop in that Christmas shop to buy a few tree goodies in December. They have some cute ones for sure! I'm glad you were able to stop the 2011 ones they had left! :thumbsup2

Maybe you can send me a picture from Liberty Tree. :thumbsup2

I'm sure your mom very much deserves this time away from all her stresses. Tell her hello from the 'meet at Wilderness Lodge porch' gang. :wave2:

Sure! :goodvibes

My mom says hi back  She definitely deserves this vacation! I woke up this morning and caught her checking her work email :rolleyes1 But she has now put the laptop away and it's not coming out until next Friday :thumbsup2 She's doing last minute errands today and taking my grandma out to lunch. She's gonna get her settled in the afternoon so she can be home to pack tonight. My grandma isn't too happy about us not being around for a week, but she gave us some trip money last night so she can't be too upset :) Josh, Jeremy, and my uncle know we'll be away so they'll visit her more often than usual. Oh! In my pre-trip excitement, I completely forgot to mention this; Caleb turned 3 on Tuesday :lovestruc The boys will both be getting birthday presents from WDW! Kazin's will be a few weeks late, but I don't think he'll mind too much :upsidedow

Some Flower and Garden Festival fun for those who are going soon....or not going at all but wish they were.

I can't wait to see it!!! :dance3:

I leave tomorrow!!!!!!

Love the visit to Agrabah!! We spent some time there in December. My 21 year old brother's favorite movie growing up was Aladdin. He just had to meet Aladdin and Jasmine. I think it was the highlight of the trip for him.

Glad you found 2011 ornaments!! I tried at the Christmas store at DTD and they didnt have any left. So I just bought a few cute ones without the year.

I do hope you get to have the full Disney Christmas experience sometime. It is a pretty awesome feeling to be in Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day, I must say.

The shop is over by the camel.

So, how did Jeremy like the Tiki Room this time?

He loved it! It was a very cute show and we will definitely go back.

It was hard finding 2011 ornaments when we were there at Thanksgiving. I never made it in the Christmas Shoppe but after seeing your pictures I wish I had. There were already 2012 out. I like the ones of the ball that looks like Mickey but there were gone so we came home a different one.

Love the picture of Bella and the CM.

This summer I get to accomplish two firsts:

1. We are eating breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table which the girls are super excited about.

and number 2...

I will be experiencing the Disney World 28 weeks pregnant in the heat of the summer.

Brooklynn and Bella will be big sisters in September!!!!!!!!

This is still under wraps so if you are friends with me on facebook please don't mention it on there yet.

I just read this...Congrats!

Thanks for posting the link for the F&G. So excited!! 6 weeks from today I will probably be walking around Epcot at this time (since we get there at 9:15).:goodvibes

I have a hankering for a visit to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe -- I think it's about time for new ornaments at our house. LOL!

Hurray for finding some with 2011 on them -- I really like the Little Green Men one.

Going to Disney World during the Christmas season can make one want to have many differently-themed trees back at home. ::yes::

I love the Ye Old Christmas Shoppe! I'm really terrible at transporting ornaments, however. A good percentage of them usually break on the way home, unfortunately.

I'm glad you were able to find 2011 ornaments!! And that picture of Bella and the CM is too cute! :goodvibes

Maybe you can just ship them straight from the shop to your house? I believe they are guaranteed/covered then. I haven't brought any of the bulb ones home yet - just the small character ones.

She's a blondie, for sure. Trent was, too, until about maybe second grade.

They will have many, many ornaments to tempt you. A Disney trip is a great way to end a year. :)

Or start one. ;)

Or be in the middle of one. :rolleyes1

Sure! :goodvibes

Sweet Grandma to give you some money. :lovestruc

You have a very busy night ahead of you!

I was thinking I might have to send Kelli an ornament and just let her personalize it. I'm glad I found what I did, but I really wish there would have been some with a more official 2011 mark on them. The one she chose was cute, though.

Why do all the guys seem to like Jasmine?

He loved it! It was a very cute show and we will definitely go back.

Knowing what we know now, we shall get Christmas ornaments on summer and fall trips. :)

I just read this...Congrats!

If Baby Three cooperates nicely, he/she will get to go to Disney World in October. :wizard:

I want to jump into those pictures! I love spring trips! I am already excited about Spring Break 2013! :woohoo:

I started sending Kelli pictures of different ones, but then I decided to just call and tell her all of them, as it would be easier than taking a bunch of pictures.

IMG_6868.jpg

She made her choice - I will let her tell you which one - and we headed to the counter.

This one is the one I got! Isn't he adorable?! :cloud9:

Here is a picture of the CM getting Kelli's ornament ready for shipment.

I was very happy to be able to find this for her.

I cannot thank MeMom enough for doing me this kind favor. Since we went on our first trip in 2006, I collect a Disney Christmas ornament each year that is dated. Unfortunately I waited a little too long this year and failed at finding one online. Who did I turn to? Well, MeMom of course. One of the sweetest, most thoughtful Dis'ers I know. It was so neat to talk to her on the phone. She has the cutest southern accent. ;) It felt really great being there with her in Magic Kingdom that day. Thank you, thank you so much again MeMom. You are the best! :goodvibes

Hi there! I think this is my first check in on this TR. I know I have spent one other day reading along, but haven't made time to comment. We've been busy here although I am not really sure what we've been up to, other than parenting three kids. Both boys are having difficult school years for entirely different reasons so that has taken up a bunch of time.

It looks like another great start to a trip! I loved seeing all of the photos Brooklynn took along the way and Bella's little top knot that morning at Disney. Aileen still does not like anything in her hair. Stinker! It seems like you guys did a great job of managing the crowds over the big holiday season.

And Jill!!!! Congrats on #3!! I have to say, #3 really made me feel like we were a family. The boys got so much pleasure out of my pregnancy and out of being old enough to really help with a new baby. Aileen is really the frosting to our family -- and three kids is an awesome number to have as I am sure Memom would agree!

Are you guys going to find out the sex of the baby ahead of time?

Never once has Earl disappointed.

It's funny that as I'm catching up on this Memom says she's got Mexican on her mind because I do too. My boyfriend made enchiladas last night! And I think he's bringing home burritos for dinner tonight. Next time it's my turn to cook, I want to make fajitas!

Depending on the price, I'd purchase quite a few of those charm club bracelets. Well any of those bracelets.

Glad you guys made it through the horrible storm okay.

Cute Christmas ornaments. One day I'm gonna have to start collecting them and make sure they don't get left behind.

I haven't been in either of those shops (Adventureland or Christmas ) or done the either version of the Tiki room!!! There are always new things to see!!
What day are you on? (since I'm behind I wasn't sure!! :) ) 12/30?

WHAT !!!!! Oh we need to correct that. :lmao: :lmao:

I think I am on 12/30

Yes, we do!!!! LOL!!! Maybe I will on my Spring Break trip!

I gotta catch up on your report too!! Do you have a pic of the meet? I would like a copy, if you do. I didn't get one with my camera.

Catching up!

Our first adventure was to avoid being spit on by a haughty-looking camel.

IMG_6808.jpg

One of the best memories I have at Disney World is on that ride when the camel spit right in Anna's face and Luke thought that was the funniest thing and giggled the entire ride. He was 3 then and he's 7 now...so long ago but seems like yesterday. Remember this?

High above the streets of Agrabah.

I enjoyed your pics from high above Agrabah. Everyone does that on Dumbo but you don't see pics of this area that often.

MeMom said:
The only one I really wish they would do something to is Stitch's Great Escape. If they took five minutes to think about it, there are many cute and more family-friendly things they could do with Stitch.

One thing Ray and I have always agreed on is that they should turn that into a Wall-E themed attraction. It is Future World and Wall-E is about our future. Makes so much sense to me. They could make it cute AND educational.

The 'Steps' were out and about.
Look at their faces. They are such fun!

I've always said if I could pick a character to play it would be one of the stepsisters because they are just so much fun or Maleficent because she's the coolest villian EVER! But I think I'd be better at playing one of the steps. I don't know that I'm cool enough to be Maleficent. (By the way, I quoted the picture too but something happened with the link and it wouldn't show?)

Bella calls her the ha ha girl, because she says 'Aha!' when she comes out.

:rotfl2: That actually made me laugh out loud. So cute!

Sweet Grandma to give you some money. :lovestruc

You have a very busy night ahead of you!

Yup :goodvibes

I just finished packing! I just need to take a shower and get to bed!

I'm shutting off my laptop for the night after I check in on my report. I'll text you tomorrow! You'll definitely be getting some pictures

It is cute. Why didn't I get myself one?

I like getting pictures from/talking to people when they are in Disney World, because you do feel like you are there in some small way. :goodvibes

Sorry the boys are having a tough time with school. I wish school could always be a nice mix of fun and education without struggles and drama.

We do have a strategy for avoiding crowds, and mostly it means there is no sleeping in and lolly-gagging around the resort in the mornings. Rope drop is the way to go to avoid the crowds, and nap times later make up needed sleep time.

Jill will find out on her April visit what the baby is. She would really like it to be another girl so that she can use the clothes and so in a couple of years, Brooklynn can have her own room and Bella and Baby Three can share. She is used to girls, and we love our girl trips, so a girl will do just fine. :thumbsup2

Of course, we will adore a little monster boy, too, so whatever comes our way will be a blessing.

That enchilada casserole was pretty good, I must say. I ate that and a salad for three days straight. :goodvibes

Your dad heard about our storms here, because he texted to see if we were in the midst of it. The next day was beautiful, so I messaged him that the day was beautiful, but I was ready to see a palm tree mixed in with that sunshine. That's when he told me about the FP rules.

You must have more energy than me! That island is the most exhausting place I can think to go!

Well, we planned to go to TSI, since we have not been since Brooklynn was little. In nine Disney days, we never did get over there. Maybe this summer? There's too much to do to get in all in!!!

WHAT !!!!! Oh we need to correct that. :lmao: :lmao:

I think I am on 12/30

Jill is going to load the 28th this weekend, and I am going to try to really stay on top of things. I'd like to finish this report and put some of the October trip pictures up, too, before we go in June.

Yes, we do!!!! LOL!!! Maybe I will on my Spring Break trip!

Just throw it in my face, why don'tcha??? :snooty:

Will you pretty please put some pictures on here or FB? :flower3:

You are so right about WALL-E! I sure didn't think of that one. It would fit perfectly and could be educational and fun. You need to write to the Imagineers and get them on that!

I think my character could be Fairy Godmother. It's okay to be pleasingly plump, and I could make dreams come true all day every day. :wizard:

Yup :goodvibes

I will look forward to your pictures and texts! :yay:
Safe travels for you and Mom!

Is it me or does Bella look just like Tinkerbell?

Jill and I have said many times that Bella can be Tinkerbell one of the days. College Program about 2028, maybe? :tinker:

More Flower and Garden fun for today.

I just noticed that I said Future World instead of Tomorrowland. I'm getting my Disney park areas mixed up!!! :lmao:

I would have been happy with any of those ornaments. They are all cute!

You got some pretty pictures of the buildings in LS. I think that is a very pretty area. I love the historical/colonial theme.

And yes, Bella would make a fabulous Tink someday! :thumbsup2
