All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

We love the Disney Jr show - I can't wait for Ellie to see it - she will be almost 2. Last time she saw it she was 10 months. She loves the Disney Jr shows. I've trained her perfectly:thumbsup2

I'm excited to see the Disney Junior show in the fall with the kids. I haven't gone for quite awhile.....I feel kinda weird as a grown woman with no kids going to see it. It looks like a very cute show! I love the picture of Bella and Jill having a little cuddle! Beauty and The Beast however is always a must see! Ever notice how little Vanna White's hands are?!

It is cute. The whole audience really loved the Jake and the Neverland Pirates part. Enjoy seeing it in the fall! :thumbsup2

I didn't pay attention to the hand pictures. I just snapped a few familiar names and headed back in to see the show.

The Disney Junior show looks really cute! I've never seen it, but it looks like fun for the little ones!

I love checking out those handprints! We usually spend a bit checking out the ones outside the GMR!

You can see it, of you want, without kids. There are benches in the back, or you can stand against the wall. The back section is full of adults, so no one would think a thing about you being back there with no kids.

:wave2: Hey MeMom! Just wanted to say sorry that I haven't posted much. But I have been checking in to see what's going on. I love the pics as always and I'm all for a Nashville meet. Are y'all still thinking about a Memphis Zoo trip? Let me know if you plan on making the Memphis trip I'll be therre.

I am hoping we can have a Nashville meet when our new mall opens. It was such a good mall, so we are excited to see it revived. I don't know if we will get to Memphis in the spring or not. We'll see what the schedule holds.

We know you are busy with work and studies, but we are always glad when you have time to visit. :goodvibes

Creighton and I love the Disney Junior Show. I can't wait to take him again, the last time we saw it they didn't have Jake.

He'll love the Jake part. That has been popular with every audience, it seems. I think I have seen it three times, and it was a clear favorite every time.

Good job. I am so glad they are starting the new Disney Junior Channel, too. Every time I turn the TV on and hope for a Disney movie, I always find the same 'tweenager-ish' shows on. I am glad the little ones are getting something they like, and I am very glad to know they'll be showing more classic Disney movies. :thumbsup2

FRIDAY! :dance3:
Have a good one, DIS friends!
:mickeyjum:goofy::donald:

Have a happy Friday, MeMom and Jill!

Disney Junior looks great for the kids. I'm sure in several years I'll be spending my fair share of time in there.

I love all the special containers, cups, etc. they have for the different holidays! Just an extra touch of spirit. :goodvibes

Happy Friday! (maybe not so happy for me, I'm having to work a 13 hr day.)

Sadly my Disney Junior days are over for now...until way way way down the road and I have my grandchildren with me. ;)

I can fondly remember those first trips with Lexi and it was here favorite place.
Anyone remember Rollie Poly Ollie & Bear in the Big Blue House?

I have to report that my Las Vegas trip will have to be put on hold for now.
I had one of my Supervisors quit this week so I cant go on any vacations until I find a suitable replacement.
I do know one day I will get there....:goodvibes

I don't think we've ever seen the Disney Junior/Playhouse Disney show so empty! We love Jake and thought it was the perfect addition to that show - this year the plan is to meet him, probably at Hollywood and Vine :thumbsup2

Is the Disney Junior channel a new thing for you? We have the Disney Channel and then Disney Junior as a separate channel in the UK. I remember being surprised in WDW when we tuned in and kept finding Suite Life, etc when all the girls wanted was Mickey Mouse! We also have Disney Cinemagic over here, which is where you find all the films and lots of animated series like The Little Mermaid and Lilo and Stitch. Those two channels keep me and the little ones happy, and I'm hoping our days of 'tweenage' shows are still a long way off :rotfl:

Disney Jr./Playhouse Disney is so cute. Little Guy would really like to see Jake and the Neverland Pirates!!

Was Bella shy when the CM sat down and talked to her or did she talk back?

I love the Disney Junior show. We have only been once and I'd like to see it again the next time we go but I know my DD is too old for it now. :sad2: I can't believe how empty it was though! :thumbsup2

love the blast off picture of Brooklynn

I can't wait to see all the new pictures of Fantasyland and AoA. I just wish my phone wasn't so technical and let me see the pics you send :(

I've been feeling really sad, low and "lonely" lately, I'm glad I can come to the DIS and your pictures and commentary makes me smile.

I've never seen the Playhouse Disney (Disney Junior???) show for obvious reasons, but it looks so cute! I do have to ask though, even though I should know this... who are Jake and the Neverland Pirates? Was that supposed to be Captain Hook and Smee? I'm confused!

Happy 12,000 posts MeMom!!

The year the boys would have loved Playhouse Disney, it was closed for refurb & now they aren't interested. I'm sad to say we've never been. :sad2:

Love the pictures of the girls at the Disney Junior show. Bella looks so entranced by the show. Chloe has just discovered Jake and the Neverland Pirates so we will have to make it a must visit in March. She met Captain Hook on the Pirate cruise in September so now she takes full advantage of any opportunity to have a sword fight with DH. She looks really cute with her sword in one hand, her pirate hook in the other yelling arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! pirate:

Sorry you had such a busy week - but at least the days do go by faster. Hope you have a great relaxing weekend.:thumbsup2

Haven't been to Disney Junior, or whatever they call it now, in a very long time! However, Beauty and the Beast is another story! ;)

Have a great weekend! :)

I was just thinking the same thing. It's been a few years since I've been in here. But we loved Rollie Poly Ollie, Bear and PB&J.

MeMom I'm so glad the girls still enjoy it. I loved watching Danielle dancing around when she was little.

We will look forward to seeing you and Chris criss-crossed on the floor with a little one singing and dancing to the newest Disney Junior fun.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Big Blue House!

Sorry about your Vegas trip. :sad1: That would have been fun.

I don't think we've ever been in there when it was so empty either. I have never had that much room to spread my legs out and not have anyone around. There was no one where I was sitting except a lady in a wheelchair at the very, very back of that section.

We are just getting the Disney Junior channel here. I don't know about other places.

I don't know if she talked to her. She was blocked from my view. I am guessing she just listened, but I will ask Jill. She may have given one word answers to simple questions, but she's usually speechless in dealing with strangers.

I love the Disney Junior show. We have only been once and I'd like to see it again the next time we go but I know my DD is too old for it now. I can't believe how empty it was though!

Maybe you could give her a dollar to go in. It worked with Brooklynn. ;)

Maybe you need a visit to Florida? :wizard:

Loving all the updates!!

Happy Friday MeMom.

Thanks. Another one coming up.

Happy Saturday to you!

Yes, that was Hook and Smee. You'll need to watch some Disney Junior in preparation for your visit. :goodvibes Just go in and sit at the back. No one will care at all. You need to experience everything Disney has to offer. :thumbsup2 Except I don't think I'll ever be experiencing Mission Space. ;)

Happy 12,000 posts MeMom!!

Too bad. It's cute. Maybe you could get them to give it a try one time, just to say you did it.
You might have to bribe them with a Mickey ice cream bar or something. :mickeybar

We love Beauty and the Beast! ::yes::

Brooklynn may feel like she's too big for it before this newest one is even beginning to enjoy it. I hope not, but it's a pretty good bet that she'll want to be off riding something exciting when this little sister or brother is still enjoying Disney Junior.

I really can't get over how much you guys managed to get done in such a short amount of time. Those morning EMH seem awesome! We didn't do any morning EMH, but we did do rope drop a few times, and my dad was really amazed at how much we were able to get done, or at hearing from us how much we got done.

Hope you have a good weekend - I am working all this weekend, but next weekend is when I get to meet up with Christine!

I love the Disney Jr. show! The kids had so much fun when we took them there in July. I never make it there normally, so taking Joaquin and Riley gives me an opportunity to do things I normally wouldn't do.

Here is a picture of Chloe in her Halloween costume - Pirate Princess. The other is a picture of her at the circus last weekend.

I was ready for this weekend. School has been very busy this week. It will be the same for the next two weeks, and then we'll have a lull in the action - normal weeks - for a while.

The number one piece of advice we give anyone about making the most of a trip is to do rope drops for at least Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We like to do it at least for each park one day during a trip to get all of the priority things done. We also have some sleep in days, but more often than not, we're up and out. To most people, sleeping in is a part of the luxury of a vacation, though, so I understand the sleeping late thing.

That's good! :goodvibes Adult trips are definitely different than trips with kids. On the couple of times our friend, Kay, has gone with me when Jill couldn't go, those trips are very different. We spend more time just strolling through World Showcase, and we see more of the movies in the different countries. We also do more resort hopping and spend more time window shopping. We don't do Dumbo or Playhouse Disney or most of the 'little kid' rides. We enjoy it, but there is a whole different vibe to the trips than when the girls are with us.

Thanks for sharing! We always love getting to know our DIS kids better. She is too cute!
