All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

***********************************

Just wonderin' -
What does it mean if a certain teacher who will go unnamed puts her lunch bag in her desk tub for daily work and then goes to put the morning worksheets on telling time in the refrigerator? :upsidedow

Not that that has ever happened three minutes ago or anything. ;)

 I think it means it's time for another trip to WDW! :thumbsup2

I love all of the cute pictures of Brooklynn & Bella with the characters!!!

Ooooohhhhh, you definitely have to make time for a drawing class sometime...they are so much fun! :goodvibes

You should go in and have fun with the kids posing and acting silly. :)

I'll have to see if I can get Michelle and Chelsea to do this. Dennis doesn't have much patience for character meets.

You'll have to show us a picture of the jacket and the mingos! :yay:

I haven't gotten a picture of the jacket yet. Hopefully next week I'll get some in DISNEY!

MINGOS!

This is the one I really like.

Danielle and friends in the Disney Store.

It means that she is a little :scared::crazy2::faint: hehe....just kidding. :rotfl2:

Everytime I want to go in to the Art of Animation area Creighton falls asleep.

Yeah, I am definitely all of those things. February is another crazy month at school. I have a lot of IEP meetings, which means a lot of paperwork and a lot of planning times used for the meetings. Lunch is spent during things I would normally do during planning time. Not getting any break in a day makes things a bit exhausting.

Maybe you will make it into Art of Animation next time. If he is asleep, that is perfect for at least going in to look at all of the pictures and figurines without him being bored or wanting to touch things.:thumbsup2

It means that a certain teacher is trying to do too many things at one time - or that she is in need of a little R&R (at Disney of course)

Love the new pics - we went to the Art of Animation for the first time on our last trip - it was a great way to spend some time out of the heat.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!!

Trying to do too much at once, for sure. I wish Disney R&R was on the horizon, but the spring trip is still a no go. I do have some fun things to help ease that blow, though. We'll have Bella's birthday party, the new mall with Disney Store and Rainforest Cafe opening back up, so we can pretend we're in Disney World ;), and we just got tickets for a Disney Live performance in March. So, all of those things will help March and April be a little happier. After that, closing out school will keep my head spinning, then it'll be time to get ready for an earlier than usual church camp and then Disney World! :dance3:

There are lot of fun things to see and do in AoA. :goodvibes

Aww, such cute character pictures! I still can't get over how empty the park was so early!

Yep, still pretty empty after getting in several things. :thumbsup2

...I agree that a certain teacher (shall go unnamed) needs a vacation where she only needs to think about which park do I want to go to.

Oh we all have days like that...

It wasn't until after reading one of your past TR's that we ever wandered into Art Of Animation.
We love it in there and try to go every trip.

Lexi enjoys anytime she can get a pic with Mickey!

Glad to hear you had a fun family weekend.

I'm glad our reports helped you find something new. :woohoo:

I am super excited about having 13 days this summer. That will be my record! :cool1: I won't care which park I am in on which day. I'll just be so glad to be there and to be spending time with my sweetest girls.

:cake:
I brought some cake for the party!! Congrats!

I still can't get over the pictures with NO people!! Where was everyone? This WAS Christmas week, no?

I just love that Bella is in these character pics now and Jill doesn't have to hold her! That's so cool!

Don't worry about the lunch/paper mix up. Happens all the time to some of us. I won't say anything about "as we get older" or anything about that. Maybe someone stayed up too late the night before? Too much super bowl partying??

Thanks for the cake!

That was the day after Christmas, and like Pat said, they were there, they were just not up and out yet.

Older and older and older we get. :upsidedow Even though I am a bit forgetful, I manage to make my way through most days and hold down a job, so I won't complain. I guess the school will take notice and relieve me of my duties when they find too many stacks of papers in my refrigerator.

YAY Cake!!!

Oh Trust me there are there, they are just sleeping in.

I will just say you are ready for lunch.

Glad you enjoyed the cake, too. We are always happy to share.

I'm guessing about 3-4 hours later that park was packed!

This is totally off topic... but I just have to share some very exciting news. We are getting an Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney at Disneyland!!! I'm sooo excited, and I knew the Dis Family would understand. I can now get my Earl fix without having to go to WDW!:banana::banana::banana:

Hooray for you! :woohoo:
Jill will be jealous.

Of course your DIS family understands. I have probably told everybody a hundred times about Disney Store and RFC coming back to our reopening mall, because I am just that excited. ::yes::

 I think it means it's time for another trip to WDW! :thumbsup2

It's still a while until a Disney trip, but I'll fill the rest of February, all of March, April, and May, and then the first 22 days of June with enough Disneyness to get me through. :thumbsup2

We've wanted to do the drawing class, but the time has never been right or the girls were too small or whatever. I think in June/July, we can finally get to it. My drawing will be awwwwwful, but it will still be a fun new experience. Brooklynn will enjoy it. Is there an age limit on doing the drawing?

Awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing. Bella will love them.

Those are the Caribbean mingos, aren't they? They have a much richer color than the ones in WDW. That's the kind we have at the Nashville Zoo, too.

Love the Disney Store fun! :goodvibes

Ahh! MeMom and Jill! I was so far behind! I am all caught up now. How exciting to say you were at the MK on Christmas Day!

I don't know about the Mingos. While Dennis was taking these I was taking a bathroom break. It's a long drive from Baton Rouge. This particular bathroom has the animal poop facts like the bathroom at Rafiki's Conservation Station.

Hi friends! I love the Mingos picture - fun!! They'll forever be Mingos from now on. :)

MeMom, we'll have to chat about a Disney Store TN meet. I'd make the drive to see y'all & shop! :)

Whew, I am finally getting caught up.

Wow, I can't believe how amazingly empty DHS was at EMH. You did a lot that morning. I need to give those a try.

Love the picture of you and Brooklyn on TOT!

I have never been in the meet and great area for Toy Story so I really enjoyed your pictures. Love the one of Brooklyn blasting off!!! She was adorable.

Love how Bella likes the characters now. Loved the picture of her and Minnie.

:yay:Yay for 12,000 posts!

Clearly I am INCREDIBLY behind...I just saw that Jill is expecting

HOW EXCITING!!!! Congratulations to all of you!!! Prayers for a healthy, easy pregnancy!!

I can't believe I fell that far behind. I will do my best to not let that happen again!

Thanks to Kristen for telling me, I didn't realize the good news either!! How exciting!!!!!

We've done the class several times and have noticed children of all ages in there...so, I don't think there is an age limit! :thumbsup2

Okay, now back to Memom's wonderful trip report....

Congrats. I could go for an Earl of Sandwich coming to my town...

Memom- maybe it wasn't time for the telling time worksheets; you needed to put them on ice for a bit...

I think you were tired from all of the 12,000 posts partying.

Enjoyed catching up on your Christmas/New Year's trip. Can't wait to read some more! :)

They will be, for sure. I hope Bella's mingo is enjoying his Adventureland time. ;)

Maybe we can work out a Nashville meet for one of these times that Dawn is in town, too.

I have been trying to touch base quickly with reports this week, but I have been really busy with some school stuff. I sure didn't think of post counts, but since I got cake and all, I'm glad I made it.

I am glad we could show a few of you (who had never been in the Toy Story area) something new.

Clearly I am INCREDIBLY behind...I just saw that Jill is expecting

Well, you were packing for and then in Disney World, so hanging out here was far down on your list. ;)

Thanks to Kristen for telling me, I didn't realize the good news either!! How exciting!!!!!

I knew you and Kristen were both very busy, and I almost send you both a text message, but I didn't want to bother you. I figured you'd find out in time. We have to keep those DIStown babies coming! :lovestruc

I figure Brooklynn can do it. She loves to draw.

Congrats. I could go for an Earl of Sandwich coming to my town...

I have managed to make it through the rest of the week okay. No more papers in the fridge. :) I have been very busy at school, and I had two S-team meetings this week during planning times. It makes for long days, but it makes the week go by so quickly. It was just Sunday, and tomorrow is Friday!

Enjoyed catching up on your Christmas/New Year's trip. Can't wait to read some more! :)

I haven't had time to put pictures up in the last few days, but I will put up more either in just a few minutes or tomorrow evening.

The girls always enjoy Playhouse Disney, which I guess they are now calling Disney Junior.

There weren't many people, and there was plenty of room in the back section on the right as you go in, so I could sit on the floor and keep my legs straight out. Normally, I sit on the back benches, 'cause this old gal's sitting criss-cross applesauce days are long over.

Jill is explaining to Bella that she has to stay inside the yellow line.

Next time: Beauty and the Beast.

I'm excited to see the Disney Junior show in the fall with the kids. I haven't gone for quite awhile.....I feel kinda weird as a grown woman with no kids going to see it. It looks like a very cute show! I love the picture of Bella and Jill having a little cuddle! Beauty and The Beast however is always a must see! Ever notice how little Vanna White's hands are?!

The Disney Junior show looks really cute! I've never seen it, but it looks like fun for the little ones!

I love checking out those handprints! We usually spend a bit checking out the ones outside the GMR!

:wave2: Hey MeMom! Just wanted to say sorry that I haven't posted much. But I have been checking in to see what's going on. I love the pics as always and I'm all for a Nashville meet. Are y'all still thinking about a Memphis Zoo trip? Let me know if you plan on making the Memphis trip I'll be therre.

Creighton and I love the Disney Junior Show. I can't wait to take him again, the last time we saw it they didn't have Jake.
