Our Friday night is not Disney on Ice, it's three classic fairy tales! Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Snow White all live on Stage and the hosts are Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy!
(that's why I gave you the link) I wondered if you had seen anything like it before....
We just got this fancy new arena here in our area and are getting all kinds of attractions that have never come our way before!
Sorry. I didn't go look at the link. Jill and the girls have been to one of those. Maybe two. I can't remember what they were about, though. They went with friends down in Huntsville. I'm sure it will be a very fun Disney fix.
It was sure fun seeing you all that evening! Most of our crew had that Disney glaze in their eyes since it was several of their first trips and there we were right by the castle getting ready for our first sit-down dining experience. One thing I noticed right away was that Bella had lost her shyness towards me, finally!!! Brook was her normal cheerful self!
Since I won't get around to writing a report on our trip since I am buried under homework on my master's program, if you don't mind I'd love to share our family video over here if folks haven't had the chance to see it on FB...
Bella really enjoyed this trip. It was very sweet of you to bring them glow things. Always a hit, of course. I have already talked to Jill about them being up here on June 12th. If Jill can't be, the girls will be. Depending on how late you guys arrive, maybe they can swim in the hotel pool. I still owe you dinner, so I might have to pack it up and bring it down there so we can eat poolside, if that is allowed.
You can absolutely show your video here. I know everyone will enjoy it.
Oh MeMom I hope you feel better!! That winter crud is no fun!!!
I loved your Christmas Day pictures - love!

it'd be a dream to be at WDW on Christmas Day!
My ribs hurt so much from coughing.

I am trying to cough out all the ick. So gross!
This was the second time Jill and I had had the privilege of being in Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day. We didn't really do anything either time, but it was still neat to be there on 'the day'.
Sounds like the perfect way to spend Christmas Day!
Anita - I saw your video on facebook - loved it!!
Feel better MeMom!
We thought about doing a ride or two, but after having traveled all day, we thought it was best just to head on back, get some good sleep, and start fresh the next day. I took a short walk around Pop after the girls had turned in.
I hope to feel a lot better by this time tomorrow so that I can face my crazy young'uns at school.
UGH..I know I posted on Page 3 but for some reason it didn't take and I'd completely forgotten about the new TR until Jill posted about an update on her FB page today.
Pat told me the Mingo story at lunch the other day. Poor Bella and poor Mingo.
Other than the temporary (thank goodness!) setbacks, looks like the trip got off to a great start...Christmas Day in the Magic Kingdom and meeting up with good friends! Love the picture of Brooklynn getting her camera bag inspected...such a big girl!
Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. Hope you feel better soon!
I am so glad you guys get to hook up for lunch sometimes. DIS friendships are fun.
I got a call from WDW Friday on the way home from school. I always write a quick thank you when we get home and note good things (and rarely a bad thing) about our trips. The guy asked about our stay and wanted to know if we had heard anything on Mingo. I told him I guessed Mingo was living happily in the Treehouse.
Love your Christmas day update!!! I am sorry that you are sick. Being sick is absolutely awful...Hope tonight's rest helps.
I love that Brooklyn is posing the adults! (Someone needs to talk to her about sneaking some shots of Memom!)
Yay for glowy things from Anita!
Thank you for the evening shopping and the visit to Pop.
Luckily, I do not get sick very often.
Oh, you are a sneaky one about Brooklynn taking a MeMom picture! Did you look at the silver tree picutre closely?
Anita always has toys. She's DIStown's Fairy Godmother, for sure!
I feel bad for him that he had to work on Christmas day. Although he does have a pretty awesome job. I hope Disney pays double time.
Um....that Tiana doll is adorable and I want one.
Hope you're feeling better by the time you read this!
He's been there a while. I guess he's got a pretty good deal going with WDW. Is his name Bill?
Tiana is cute. I watched Princess and the Frog yesterday - for research purposes for Bella's party. I slept through most of it.
Take a few days off and I am 14 pages behind! I'm going back to catch up now!
Can't wait to read all about Christmas adventures!
We've only done two sets of pictures, so you didn't miss much. One more post and we'll be done with Day One.
We had a lot of fun being there during the holiday season. It was so pretty everywhere, and the weather was wonderful.
So when I finally caught up on the summer trip, guess what I found??!!
A link to THIS trip!!!!
AND it was ONLY 14 PAGES long!!!!! By MeMom and Jill TR standards, that isn't too bad considering!!! SO I am committed to staying on track with this one! Unlike the summer TR which I was always woefully behind!!!! At least until our cruise in February!!! WHICH is only 4 nights, so hopefully I won't get so behind... Snowy Icy weather helped to keep me sitting by the fireplace all day!!! LOL!!!
Looking forward to this Christmas trip -- I can't wait to go again! And how fun to read along as summer approaches.
I am happy to report that our weather has been unusually warm.

Although, the thought of sitting by the fireplace in your lovely home sounds very nice.
A February cruise will be incredible. I doubt February will be as nice to us as January has been.
I love your castle, castle reflection picture. It looks like Brooklynn knows how to pose someone for a one of a kind shot.
She got Jill on the first night - before he was tired and after he had been fed, so he was very cooperative with her antics.
Once again looking at your shopping pictures was dangerous. I want the Disney Monorail and the Parking Lot Tram. Plus I know playing the Disney version of Clue Game would be alot of fun.
I couldn't afford the real monorail, so I went for this. The girls were fascinated with seeing the trams this time, so I got that, too. They were less than twenty dollars each.
I have Splash Mountain Sorry and we have some other Disney version board games.
That sounds like a wonderful way to spend Christmas Day! Just to see the castle all lit up like that, so magical!
I noticed that a lot more of the resorts are doing the movies in the evenings now too. I think that's a great idea, even if you don't stop to watch them, just hearing the movies in the background makes it even more fun and Disney-like to be walking around the resorts in the evenings.
The movies are a nice addition - a nice family activity that doesn't require being in a park. The one night we thought about going down to watch, it was too cold. Jill also thought of going to Fantasmic that same night, but it was the coldest night of the trip, so we ended up staying in.
Hope you feel better soon, MeMom!
What a great way to spend Christmas Day -- at the Magic Kingdom! Yeay for meeting up with Anita and gang! That's always a lot of fun!
I hope I feel better by in the morning. It was hard to get through Friday, and I am not really ready to do that again.
We did get to meet the rest of the family that evening. We got to see Hunter awake, but Harper was out of it!
Hi Wig'd, we saw this in December and it was great!
I know Harper will enjoy it! There were lots of little princesses around so I say bring all of the dresses!
Don't forget your wallet...there's lots to spend money on...frozen ice, popcorn buckets, cotton candy w/crown and of course souvies of all kinds.
Your little one will most definitely need a light up something!
Have fun!
I would love to see the video...since I'm not on facebook. Pretty Please!!!
You know Anita will do it up right for her sweet girl.
I hope you are feeling better this morning. Snuggle under those toasty sheets and rest.
Christmas Day in the MK and a DIS meet too! Awesome!
I can't believe you took home the monorail and the tram...I had those in my hand many a times throughout the trip. I can remember standing in line to pay for a basket of stuff in Mousegears and saying to Lexi go get me them. Then changing my mind cause I didn't know if I had room in my suitcase.
We did however come home with all of those boxers for Aaron, the Memory game, Lexi got the yellow Chip & Dale tee and a Christmas popcorn bucket.
The silver trees were pretty. Not sure if we got pics of them.
I'm off to work...take care.
Wow, you got a ton of souvenirs!
I am glad I decided to at least get the cheap version of the monorail. It makes me smile when I see it, even if it isn't moving around a track. Bella was into saying
Please stand clear of da doors every time we got on one this time.
I will be staying in bed most of the day again, I'm sure. I'm taking Dayquil and Nyquil, and I'm just going in and out of sleep. I have had some interesting dreams on this medicine. I'll have to tell them later.
