I also have no reason when it comes to Disney trips. Spend it and start saving to do it again is the name of the game.. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Unless of course I were just independently wealthy and could visit any old time.
Wealthy sounds good. Maybe I could get us some DVC points and Jill could stay at Boardwalk like she wants to.
I have a retirement plan, so I am hoping that between that, what I get out of my house when it is sold, whatever part-time (or new full-time) job I have, and the kindness of my children, I will able to live a semi-comfortable life and still make a couple of Disney trips a year. We'll see, if I ever get to retirement.
She is so proud of having to get her bag checked. A right of passage for sure.

She is a lucky girl. I hope she will always love the experience and not think it gets old or boring after a while. When I was talking to Jill this morning, Bella was in the backseat saying she was ready to go to Dizhy Wuhld today.
Jill did tell the girls we were eating in the castle this summer, and she said they were both quite excited, especially Brooklynn, since she has a little better grasp on the meaning of that.
Thanks. I just shoot the pictures to try to make everyone who sees them be able to feel like they are right there in that spot. Some of the pictures are silly, but I might think it's a place where the viewer can use his/her senses to add to the picture to 'be there'.
Brooklyn certainly looks like she thinks she is big stuff having her bag inspected.I wish standing in that line was still a thrill for me.
Love the pictures of the castle lighting. I would hazard to guess that if I ever see it in person, I will be a big teary mess.

I only missed last Christmas and I was ready to see the decorations again. I know you are ready to after that many years!
Bag check is so iffy. I try to put all the little things in a gallon bag. I open the zipper, pull the bag up where they can see the bottom, and I am usually through it pretty quickly. There is not consistency at all in the checkers.
It will happen for you.

My DS has been asking about every week to go back to Disney. He always gets this really sad face and asks if we can go back. It breaks my heart cause that's how I feel too!
But September was soooo looong ago, Mommy!

About this time each year, I try and figure out how fast I could pack my bags and move to FL. Honestly, I think about it every year! If it weren't for my two sweet nieces only 4 hours away, I'd already be there!!! 
Had I not already had such a choppy couple of weeks, I would have stayed home, but I went on, knowing I could crash tonight. 
And just in time for our belated family Christmas celebration tomorrow, now that Mom is better. 
You got to see plenty of decorations this year, though, and you will be better off going during a slower period, since you can.
So glad your mom can be back among the group.
