Great treasures for little girls. We got a bag of them.

He's a cutie. Everytime I see those guys all I can think is Mine, Mine, Mine and now he is all Yours, Yours, Yours. :lmao:

I'm looking for a Dory. I hope to bring her home (if there is one) this fall.

We sure seem to think alike when it comes to Disney. Isn't that funny that we took the same picture? And that's not the first time I've noticed that either. I think we were separated at birth! I'm a little jealous though because your box of shells was more colorful than mine. :upsidedow

Loved the picture of the sign in the Nemo queue... 'no reef funds'. I've never noticed those before. Disney always has the cutest hidden details.

Love the picture of the girls being eaten. I wonder how many of those you have taken over the years. Those pictures could be your version of a growth chart!

Great treasures for little girls. We got a bag of them.

::yes:: And great treasures for little boys too! :thumbsup2 We brought home a bag of those in November.

I thought I had posted since I read about Mike but apparently I didn't... I'm so sorry that you are facing another loss! My thoughts are with his family & yours. Hearing stories like that makes you appreciate what you have.

I love that you got to open the Character Spot! So fun!!

Such cute pictures of the girls! We were first on Christmas day and it's a must do every trip for now on! We didn't get an individual with Mickey for some reason, but the group shot made up for it. I felt bad having the characters wait for me and almost rushed to the next one. :rolleyes1
LOVE Nemo! We never take the time to check everything out there. We just do the ride and Crush and then move on.
Your new bird friend is adorable!!

I must admit that we tend to lose track of time when we're in "The Seas". There's just so much to see there. I could probably just stand for hours and watch the dolphins.

It was pretty strange being asked if I was lost.

I was not lost.
I knew exactly where I was.
I was standing right by these trees.

IMG_7026.jpg

I liked Jill's idea a while back that there should be a special button for us. They have a First Time button and I think as much as it is for the excitement of celebrating... it is also for CM's to zoom in on who might need some extra help. :teacher:

A DIS button, a Frequent flyer button? Something to let CM's know we know our way around and maybe to engage us with detail facts or a welcome back attitude. :goodvibes

Now, Nemo - that's a different story.
He was lost, and we needed to find him.

IMG_7033.jpg

No reef funds- :lmao: See something new every time. Stay off - except for official use of course ;)

Self-contained underwater breathing apparatus diver.

I know that makes you nervous.

Thank You :worship:

I must have started this reply hours ago. A few distractions this morning. ;)

What a great time with Nemo & friends!!:goodvibes
I have never noticed those signs either. :confused3 I will have to look next time.
Those colored jewels are so pretty. Nope never noticed those either!:)

We haven't made it over to the Seas in a long time. Definitely going to have to on the next trip! It reminds me a little bit of the New England Aquarium, but much more Disney-centric, of course.

Yes, Dory lives there, too. And Crush and Squirt and Nemo. You can bring a whole ocean family home, if you'd like. :)

We need to contribute to the reef fund, don't we? :goodvibes

Brooklynn and Bella have managed to avoid Bruce finishing them off numerous times. I wouldn't know how many. I guess they'll be telling #3 how to wriggle his/her way out of those jaws, as well.

Those little jewels are fun, aren't they? What better item to count with than a Disney item? :thumbsup2 They will find their way into our decor at Bella's Little Mermaid birthday party this year, too.

Fun! Do they have jewels over at Pirates of the Caribbean? That seems like a good place to have them and maybe add some skulls or something for the boys.

Your new bird friend is adorable!!

Your girls might enjoy all of the sea life there. There are some very cool fish!

Your Christmas Day pictures must be just about ready to come up on your TR, since you just finished a Fantasmic Christmas Eve. And while you were with Mickey and the gang at Epcot, we were on our way to WDW! :woohoo:

I must admit that we tend to lose track of time when we're in "The Seas". There's just so much to see there. I could probably just stand for hours and watch the dolphins.

Yes, the girls love to watch the dolphins, too. And the colorful fish in all the tanks are interesting. I wish they had a bigger manatee area. The girls like watching the stingrays before we go into Turtle Talk.

I must have started this reply hours ago. A few distractions this morning.

The trash can was definitely taken with you in mind.

Watching scuba divers would be less than one of my favorite things to do. ::yes::

The seagull left behind a bunch of siblings. I'm sure they'd love to come and live with DIS friends. :thumbsup2

So sorry to hear about the loss of your friends, MeMom.

Love the pictures of the girls with the Fab Five! So cute!

Thanks for your thoughts, Jackie. There has been a lot of loss among DIS friends this last year.

I'm glad Bella cooperated enough to get some fab Five pictures. I look forward to seeing the Photopass pictures, too.

What a great time with Nemo & friends!!

You'll have to get your favorite little ones some jewels to count with, use as decor, play hide and seek with, or whatever else they're good for. When you pull them out, they'll take you back to Epcot in a small way.

A very educational update!

Education in a fun way - that's pretty awesome stuff. I'm pretty sure my second-graders could get excited about learning if they could go to The Seas. :woohoo:

We haven't made it over to the Seas in a long time. Definitely going to have to on the next trip! It reminds me a little bit of the New England Aquarium, but much more Disney-centric, of course.

Have you eaten at Coral Reef? We'll have to do that someday, but we'll probably be eating steak and chicken, if they have it, as we're not big seafood people. The girls would enjoy seeing the fish during the meal.

Awesome pictures with the Fab 5 at the Character Spot! I didn't know they did that for the first family there!

Yep, it was a fun little event. We've seen it happen before, and now we've had our turn. We won't try again for that spot until we have three little ones ready to greet characters. Maybe by then, Bella will step up and be like Brooklynn - an expert in showing her little brother/sister how to do it. :thumbsup2

The treasure chest pieces are so colorful. I might need to get a bag full to add color to a clear flower vase.

What a great idea! It would be a subtle little Disney touch in the room without everyone else really realizing it. :ssst:

Upon leaving The Seas, we crossed back over The Land and went to see Figment and all of his scientific friends.

IMG_7069.jpg

Not a lot of other people were doing that right then.

IMG_7071.jpg

This is pretty much always a walk-on for us. What about you guys? Sometimes there may be another handful of people, but nothing that could be considered a line.

Then it was back to The Land, where we saw a gingerbread house contest display.

IMG_7084.jpg

It was time for some food.

IMG_7085.jpg

I had already decided to get the guava cupcake that a DISer had said was so good, since I had never, ever had a guava cupcake.

IMG_7086.jpg

IMG_7087.jpg

IMG_7088.jpg

I would not pay four bucks for a cupcake in my everyday world, but I did in this World on this day.

Hard at work sweetening up some giant rice krispy bars.

IMG_7089.jpg

Other things I could have chosen.

IMG_7090.jpg

Some of the other food items at our table.

IMG_7091.jpg

I could not eat the entire guava cupcake, so Jill and John both got a bite of the leftover. It was very good, but I think that chocolate raspberry may be calling my name for next time. I have had every other item that I showed above, so I think it's time for the cocoa bean and berry combo to prove itself worthy of being four dollars.

This guy came home with me. He is now living in my Nemo dock scene in my classroom.

IMG_7065.jpg

I loved this little guy when I saw him in the store, but decided against getting him! (DBF was giving me too many subtle eye rolls for wanting a stuffed animal ). I definitely regret not picking him up, but I'm glad one of his friends got a good home in your classroom!! :goodvibes

I DID realize how much I would regret it if I didn't get one of these shirts, though! (I ended up with the one on the left - and was wearing it yesterday, actually! :thumbsup2)

Great Seas and Imagination pavilion tours! I love wandering around the Seas, it's always so nice and peaceful there.

I've been SO curious to hear about the guava cupcake, I was excited to see you gave it a try! Chocolate and raspberry is always a winning combination in my book!

All those goodies look so good. I am with Jackie. A cupcake for breakfast sounds really good!! That is what is so great about vacation-doing things & eating things you would not do or eat otherwise.

Fabulous pictures with the fab five!! How awesome!

We love the Nemo ride in this house. We just went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot the other day to get one last use out of our annual pass because they expire today :sad1:. Anyway, we were in the bathroom and Creighton starts singing "In the big blue world..." and then all of a sudden about five other kids joined in. It was so funny.

I thought this years Flower and Garden was better than last years. It is always good, but this year was pretty amazing. I am happy I was able to see it. And come home with a Mickey and Minnie bronze statue for my yard that I don't have. haha.

I enjoy the figment ride, but Creighton doesn't.

Creighton got to ride The Great Goofini for the first time and he loved it. Dumbo looks fantastic and was fun as usual. Fantasyland is coming along very nicely.

The seagull is adorable, I bet it looks great in your classroom and it's nice having that WDW reminder there:goodvibes.

I love Journey Into Imagination with Figment. It's always a fun ride. The kids love it too, they are Figment lovers.

There is never a line and I've never waited to get on. There are always a few people around us, but not enough to fill up a car, or form a line. It's a cute ride, I don't know why it's not more popular ...

The food pics look good! Wow, that breakfast looks super! I especially love the picture with the CM cooking all that food, the potatoes, eggs ... boy I'm hungry now!

The cupcake looks yummy, I'll have to try one. I love mango.
