All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Once again I'm a little late, but OH MY GOODNESS, the Fab Five photo is just precious! How awesome that yall got to do that! I guess sometimes it pays to avoid the Soarin' mob!

I have never done Figment, but if it's always a walk-on, I'm gonna have to reconsider! :thumbsup2

Always enjoy Figment and I agree it is pretty much a walk-on every time.

I miss the Kodak stuff at the end though.

I loved this little guy when I saw him in the store, but decided against getting him! (DBF was giving me too many subtle eye rolls for wanting a stuffed animal ). I definitely regret not picking him up, but I'm glad one of his friends got a good home in your classroom!! :goodvibes

I DID realize how much I would regret it if I didn't get one of these shirts, though! (I ended up with the one on the left - and was wearing it yesterday, actually! :thumbsup2)

Great Seas and Imagination pavilion tours! I love wandering around the Seas, it's always so nice and peaceful there.

I've been SO curious to hear about the guava cupcake, I was excited to see you gave it a try! Chocolate and raspberry is always a winning combination in my book!

Sometimes I think I hear the faint cry of my little seagull saying, "This place is crazy. This place is crazy! This place is crazy!!"

Yeah, for some reason when I put those pictures up, the chocolate one was looking good. I'm not a huge chocolate person. I like accents of chocolate more than straight out chocolate, but that does look good.

A guava cupcake for breakfast sounds quite tasty!

'Twas good. :thumbsup2

All those goodies look so good. I am with Jackie. A cupcake for breakfast sounds really good!! That is what is so great about vacation-doing things & eating things you would not do or eat otherwise.

Yep. I run the streets at night in WDW, too - something I do not do at home.

Fabulous pictures with the fab five!! How awesome!

We love the Nemo ride in this house. We just went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot the other day to get one last use out of our annual pass because they expire today :sad1:. Anyway, we were in the bathroom and Creighton starts singing "In the big blue world..." and then all of a sudden about five other kids joined in. It was so funny.

I thought this years Flower and Garden was better than last years. It is always good, but this year was pretty amazing. I am happy I was able to see it. And come home with a Mickey and Minnie bronze statue for my yard that I don't have. haha.

I enjoy the figment ride, but Creighton doesn't.

Creighton got to ride The Great Goofini for the first time and he loved it. Dumbo looks fantastic and was fun as usual. Fantasyland is coming along very nicely.

I can't wait to see F&G stuff next year! :woohoo: I am glad you got to go again, especially to see the new things.

The seagull is adorable, I bet it looks great in your classroom and it's nice having that WDW reminder there:goodvibes.

I love Journey Into Imagination with Figment. It's always a fun ride. The kids love it too, they are Figment lovers.

There is never a line and I've never waited to get on. There are always a few people around us, but not enough to fill up a car, or form a line. It's a cute ride, I don't know why it's not more popular ...

The food pics look good! Wow, that breakfast looks super! I especially love the picture with the CM cooking all that food, the potatoes, eggs ... boy I'm hungry now!

The cupcake looks yummy, I'll have to try one. I love mango.

Usually a couple of adult meals and some added fruit or yogurt can feed all four of Jill's bunch. Not a bad deal at all.

Figment is worth doing once. It wouldn't be high on my list, but the girls enjoy it, and it's easy to get on, so it's something to do while we're waiitng to do something else or when we need to sit in a cool place. They like the musical activity at the ned, too.

Always enjoy Figment and I agree it is pretty much a walk-on every time.

I miss the Kodak stuff at the end though.

I wonder if they will eventually change it into something else, since it's not that big of a draw.

Joining in a little late!
I love your TRs. :goodvibes

I would like to have one of those treats right now!

Which one would you choose?

Breakfast looked good and so did the cupcakes. We usually eat in The Land at least once each trip. Never tried breakfast there though. Maybe next time. I love Figment, but I wish they'd bring the old one back, but I'm pretty sure that won't happen. I have a Figment key chain that hangs in my office with Mickey and Minnie on my window blind pull string. Just a fun reminder.

Mitch is a big Figment fan, so no trip is complete with out paying him a visit! There's never a line for us.
We almost never have breakfasts in the parks. We eat in the room. I guess we're just too busy getting in as many attractions as possible before the crowds arrive to stop for breakfast. We have either a late morning snack or an early lunch!
Your food looks delish! I've only tried the chocolate mousse, strawberry shortcake, and brownie for dessert there. I think I might need to try a cupcake next time!

A guava cupcake sounds very interesting. We ate guava for the first time at the beach last year and loved it! So I think I might like that. I also want to try that famous stawberry shortcake they have there. I think that's the one Brook likes so much. Whatever the choice, a cupcake for breakfast is a winner in my book!

Those were my favorite trees at Epcot! I just loved them.

Great pictures from Nemo. I had never seen that box of treasures the girls picked a bag from. Looks like fun. We tend to bypass that gift shop. Love your new bird!

Ooh, what a great breakfast! We tried Sunshine Seasons for the first time in Thanksgiving. Very Good! :thumbsup2

There have been many times over the years where we have spent large chunks of time in the Seas, bu not this past trip. I'm very glad you took so many pictures of the things I missed.

We skipped Imagination completely this trip. We wanted to go but just ran out of time. 1 day in each park just isn't enough! I have seen the line out the door for Figment. It was in 2010, but it moved fast.

A cupcake for breakfast sound heavenly! And perfect for Disney.

Love the TR! Makes me really miss our kids being that small. :sad2:

We've been there to see all the Xmas decorations but never ON Christmas. How special!

We love Figment! Isn't he cute? The smelling room is always fun. ;)

Interesting choice MeMom. I do not think I have ever had guava before. It sure looks good though! And in real life, I would also never pay $4 for one cupcake. At Disney? Of course!

Haven't commented in a while, so I thought I would now. We were just there two weeks ago...how I miss it so. :sad1: One of my DD's had the Chocolate Raspberry cupcake and she LOVED it. I had to go for the Strawberry Shortcake...both times we had lunch there! :lmao:

I Heart Figment! The retro stuff is awesome. I lived in Florida when Epcot opened in 1982. I work at a local university in my neck of the Tennessee woods, and the other day I had to go into one of our new professor's office...I knew I would like this guy really well when I saw a 12 inch Figment sitting tall on the top of his office bookshelf! :thumbsup2

Sunshine Seasons is a great place because there is a wide variety of things to suit every taste. If you just want a muffin, they've got it, and if you want the all out meal, they've got it, too.

It's nice that you have that little Disney touch in your office. :thumbsup2

Jill loves the strawberry shortcake. ::yes::

We eat donuts or pop-tarts or fruit in the room many days, too.

Jill is a fan of the strawberry shortcake, as well. I try to eat different things in Disney World, especially when it comes to trynig brand new things. I had my first suhi there and my first scallops. If I am going to go for somthing new, it neat to say I did it in WDW.

Just the opposite of you, we spend a good amount of time in that gift shop. We love the Nemo and under the seas theme, so we almost always buy something.

Glad you got to try Sunshine Seasons. :goodvibes

There's just too much to do in too little time. Sometimes I am amazed at the major things we left undone on a trip.

Love the TR! Makes me really miss our kids being that small. :sad2:

It is cool to be in WDW on Christmas Day. it feels very special, i think.

The girls hold their noses at the skunk smell.

$4 for a cupcake in the real world is not acceptable. ;)

It's always fun to find people in your real life who have a little Disney love, too. :wizard:

I think I am convinced on that chocolate raspberry. :goodvibes

After breakfast, it was our turn to Soar.

It's funny to hear first timers laugh at Mickey ears guy and thumbs up boy.

I'm so impressed with how well Bella is doing with the characters. She is getting to be a pro like her big sister.

Great pictures on Soarin'. I felt like I was there, just missing the smells.

Love the pic of Bella smiling with Daisy!!:goodvibes

Great Soarin pics! Cannot wait to do it again in a few weeks.

I still laugh at Mickey hat guy and thumbs up boy. I'm easily amused!

Bella did so awesome with the characters! It looks like she made a lot of progress between trips!

Whew! 7 pages behind!!!
Catching up was fun though....
It's so much fun seeing Bella warm up to the character's like she is. Doesn't she know that Pluto and Goofy and nice guys and that Stitch character is an ornery guy???

A flock of the seagulls made their way home with me in October. They are now hovering over our "brain food" (snacks) calling "mine, mine, mine"!

For laughs, the next time we are packing up our purple lockers I'll send you some pictures just so you won't feel like you are missing out on that fun part of vacation!!! (The reason you didn't get pictures that morning). We should be wearing our Grumpy shirts when we pack to go home!:headache:

I missed those last pics last night so it was a nice way to wake up today. Thanks!

I missed it at the time but I am so sorry for your losses. It has been a heck of a year for you. Hopefully the rest of the year will be Disney sunshine and pixie dust.

Had to change our countdown today. Planned for June and then it was cancelled. Planned for July and now it had to be cancelled. We are now going in August. No matter what! :)
At least I will be able to get some pics of the new wings at AoA.
