All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend MeMom. I guess there is some comfort in knowing that he was at peace with it and was able to say his goodbyes.

I love the pics of the girls with the characters. Bella is too cute with the pigtails (or doggy ears as my mom calls them). Those pics are priceless :thumbsup2 So funny how Bella only likes some of the characters - looks like the mice trump the dogs :)

I always want to put Chloe's hair in pigtails like that, but i just can't get them even - it is also almost impossible to get her to sit still for my to take too much time getting them straight. :upsidedow

Hope everyone has a great day.

Awesome pictures!!! What fun! When I (hopefully) take Caroline next year, I'd like to get those pictures. She loves Mickey & the gang, but we'll have to see if she still likes them in person!! :)

So sorry to hear about the recent losses of friends. :sad1: Clay had a Great Uncle die last week and I had a Great Aunt die this week.

Bella is posing like a pro in the picture of her, Brooklyn and Mickey!

It sounds like Mike really lead a good life if you could measure that by his number of friends. :goodvibes

I love that the girls got a picture with the entire Fab Five. What a cool memory for them to have!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Reminds us all to make the most of whatever we've got and so it's lovely to be able to look at all those happy memories being made, thanks for sharing them with us all :)
Getting a picture with all those characters looks like great fun, and a great way to start the day!

The character pictures were great. The girls look so cute holding Mickey's hand and being lead to the rest of the gang.

I made an ADR at Boatwrights because we are staying there and I thought we could eat at PORS one night then go over and hear Ye Ha Bob. Then I made ADR's for lunch at Le Cellier and Yak & Yeti, and a dinner ADR at La Hacienda de San Angel. We are on the free dining plan, so I need three more.:goodvibes

Those pictures of the girls with Mickey and the whole gang are priceless! So so so super cute!:goodvibes And look at Bella go! What a brave girl! I'm sure she'll sweeten up to the dogs eventually.

Whew, I have a lot of catching up to do!! I have been an awful disfriend.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Mike and your friend at church. I know people pass all the time, but it just seems like this year has been a real hard one. Maybe because of all the losses I've seen to so many close friends and family. I hope lots of babies are being born to make up for all the losses.

I loved watching the procession of pictures with the characters. Bella has really come a long way, but she still has her reservations. It's great to see he posing with Brooklynn.

In the last three months, we lost three good people. It is comforting to know that they were all wonderful people who have gone on to a great reward.

Bella is warming up to characters, but when she starts to balk on one, there is no need to try to convince her. She has her mind made up.

Great pictures with the Fab 5!! Bella is so cute running away from the dogs.

Beautiful Epcot flowers. 28 days & I will see them. Anita sent me a pic at DHS yesterday.

Having DIS friends down there all the time sending back pictures is such a nice thing. :thumbsup2

28 days is almost no time at all! :dance3:

Your pictures of the M&G's are so cute! Bella's too funny with what characters she will and won't pose with!

You may have noticed she wasn't completely convinced about Mickey in the beginning. She is trying to pull away a bit, but she's sandwiched in between Mickey and Donald. I think if she could have escaped at that moment, she would have.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend MeMom. I guess there is some comfort in knowing that he was at peace with it and was able to say his goodbyes.

He was, and his family was very prepared. He had been sick for several years. It was sad to me that he looked nothing like he had looked throughout his life, though, as he was terrible swollen. I wish they could have made him look nicer for the final goodbyes. :sad1:

Bella seems to prefer a 'pony', as she calls it, but the two sprigs do look pretty cute. :cutie:

If you are two feet tall, those 'fun' characters might seem a little intimidating. I hope she does well with them. :)

The older we get, the more we deal with death. It's just the way it is. I am sorry to hear of your losses. I know you have good memories of them to treasure. :goodvibes

I love that the girls got a picture with the entire Fab Five. What a cool memory for them to have!

He was a leader in his church and in his business, and he was a volunteer at school for many years. He knew many, many people, and the line to wait to see his family was a testament to the good man he was.

Maybe you can get your whole gang to make it to Character Spot first someday and get the whole group picture, too. I'm sure we'll go for it again when the newest member of our group is maybe a year or two old.

It was a great start to the day, and I look forward to seeing Jill's Photopass pictures.

We need reminders about appreciating our lives, our people, and our possessions, don't we? ::yes::

So proud of Bella. She has come a long way with the characters.

She sure has!

I want to see Yee Haw Bob, too! Yak and Yeti is the only AK restaurant we have not eaten at.

Yay for free dining! :cool1:

She will. She just likes ot do things on her own terms. ;)

We still love ya! Good having you around again. :thumbsup2

Yes I love my Dis friends. I try to explain it to the girls at work about my Dis family & they just give me weird looks.

Getting pictures this week has brought my spirits up!! I was sitting at my desk at work yesterday & then my phone buzzed & it was great seeing a pic of Main Street from the trolley.:goodvibes

So sorry for the loss of your friend. I have been praying for his family.

I love this picture!

The whole gang and a couple of silly girls.

Cute pictures of the girls with the fab five. Were y'all the first ones in for the morning? I love that Mickey met you at the door and walked you in! :)

I haven't gotten any pictures yet today. I guess Wigd has forgotten that I am on vacation, too. :snooty: Sort of. ;)

I love this picture!

Maybe you can talk your big girls into making a Character Spot stop early one morning
for some fun pictures with the whole gang. :mickeyjum

Great character interaction! How lucky to get a picture of the girls with the whole gang!

I am glad that we were able to do that and share the scoop with other DISers who might want pictures like that, as well.

Yes ma'am - first ones. We had tried to get this coveted spot once before, but we came in second. We had unfortunately given up being the Family of the Day at The Seas, too, so we will cross our fingers that maybe that offer will come our way again. :fish:

Wow, what great memories! So glad the girls got to be the first ones with the characters. I loved all your pictures.

Too funny about the CM thinking you were lost.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend

I love the Epcot pictures, so cool that the girls got a picture with all the characters!

I took a picture of the Mickey head poinsettias, too. :thumbsup2

It was pretty strange being asked if I was lost.

There were so many pretty flowers at Christmas. More Epcot coming now...

I was not lost.
I knew exactly where I was.
I was standing right by these trees.

Now, Nemo - that's a different story.
He was lost, and we needed to find him.

Since our previous trip, the rocky area there had been covered in plants, so the kids can't climb all up in there now. That's probably a good thing.
