The forecast says there will be two more days of lots of rain, and then it looks better for a few days. We haven't been able to do much so far. The floors in all the stores and resorts are soaking wet and slick. Cast members are using towels and squeegees to try to dry it between people's feet as they walk through. It's kind of a mess.

We were hoping to get in a couple of rides last night, but that didn't happen. After we met lmillercrew, we went to see the new Dumbo, and it started raining harder, so we left. Right before we approached the bus stop, the bottom fell out of the sky, and we were drowned!

We have plans to eat at Akershus this morning. Hopefully, we can do some things at Epcot today.

Sorry the weather isn't great. A little rain is okay but a down pour is yucky.

I hope the sun comes out and you can get out there and enjoy it.

I love going to get snacks & treats at Target or Walmart. I usually find some fun souvenirs there too.

Akershus sounds like an excellent way to start the day!

Hi,Memom!My october dates are 3 to 12 . Too bad it's raining...but I would trade a sunny day here at home for a rainy day at Disney.... Here in Brasil it's been raining for over a week now which is very unusual ( our winter is usually very dry). Epcot is a nice place for you to go, lot's of indoor things to see and do!. I saw the picture of the DIS meet on Facebook, and the pictures from Epcot and Akershus. The girls looked adorable!

Light rain off and on today. Mr. Sun actually made an appearance several times. Walked over to AoA this morning for more pictures. Their breakfast choices looked really good. Then we went to Animal Kingdom, ate a very good buffet meal at Coronado Springs, and came back to the room. I think Jill, John, and Brooklynn are going to DTD in a little while, and Bella and I may go do 2-3 things in Magic Kingdom.

Catching up.

You are right - we feel like we know so many people from so many places. I will find myself saying, "I have a friend in NYC," like I have known Brook personally for years. Or when Michelle and Jeffrey were in Arizona, Mary said if they needed anything to let her know, and I felt good knowing that they had someone close in case of an emergency. We know a bunch of GA DISers, so if we are driving through there, we know we have people who could come to our rescue if we happened to need help. We even know people in other countries that we never would have known without this forum.

I do the SAME thing! You all ARE my friends and I hope to meet everyone eventually. Looking forward to seeing many of you in October!

As she embraced this new friend, she said to me, "MeMom, I really need something with a long neck." I believe I texted a few of you at that point, because I found it quite funny.
