Had to just pop in and share before I implode from excitement. I just booked a trip to DL for February (ok just the flight - need to wait 2 weeks before I can book the DVC part). Had enough miles for the flight and hopefully will be able to stay at GCH on DVC points. Chloe is obsessed with Cars and I just had to do it before she starts school and grows out of this phase. Now a whole new world of planning has opened up. It is a little daunting trying to figure everything out for a whole new park, but I have 7 months to do it. Thanks for letting me vent.

Congrats on booking that flight. I had no trouble getting GCH at 7 months.
I am heading there at the end of Sept. So hopefully I can report back.

Hi guys! Camp is over for another year. We had a great potluck meal as we closed out.

Trent and a friend drove me to meet Jill at the halfway point between our cities. Brooklynn was tapped out, but Trent managed to get her awake for a quick hello and a smooch. Bella was wide awake, so he got to see her for a few minutes before we moved suitcases from my hatch to Jill's.

The girls are both sound asleep, possibly dreaming Disney dreams. The rest of us have been preparing suitcases to be put in the car in the morning. John has his work cut out for him trying to get all of this stuff in there, but he thinks he can do it. I offered to buy straps for the luggage rack on top and just put my two suitcases up there, but he thought we would be fine. About 3:30 in the morning, he may wish we had the straps!

Jill will do a diligent job of sharing pictures, I'm sure, and I will check in from the laptop at Pop. We always play Guess the Building before we stay at Pop. I have stayed in every building except Mowgli & Baloo and Lady, so I am voting for one of those. Since the girls fell asleep in the car, we haven't had everyone make their guesses yet. We can do that on the way to the airport in the morning.

My eyes are closing on me. On a normal morning after a camp week, I sleep late - like maybe all the way until six o'clock, which is unheard of for me! On this night, however, that will not be happening. We're pulling out of the driveway at 4:30, I am told, so I better go get a little sleep now. Thank you for the happy travel wishes! Good night!

One more time from the house, just because I'm up, but then I have to close this down and get moving - toward the south.

I hope we get a building I haven't been in yet, too. I guess I could have requested one of those two in particular, but I don't want to narrow it down too much. The number one request for us while the girls are little is to have connecting rooms, so we'll take whatever building we can get those in.

I have been super crazy busy with my new job so I have had very little DIS time.
I'm enjoying it and the new staff is great. My raise is nice too. (more Disney $)

I can imagine how anxious you are to get there....oh happy day!!!!

Oh I need to go back and catch up. My computer got a nasty virus and I had to scrap it for a new one. I had to wait until payday yesterday so I've been without a computer for a week. You don't realize how much you rely on them until you're without one!

I got that text too. I'm hoping they get some sunshine soon! We had one really wet day in March and it kept the crowds away, but it's not fun to be soaking wet all day!
