All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Oh, I'm so sorry you all had such an emotional start to the day. :( It sounds like it ended on a good note though! Lucky Brooklynn! Have a great day today, you two! :goodvibes

I am so glad after an emotional morning your night at MK was filled with pixie dust. I look forward to the pictures of Brooklynn and the magic of MK.

Have a great day today.

I thought about you all parting ways yesterday and I can imagine how tuff it was.

WOW! Brooklynn was a star yesterday! :thumbsup2

I've never seen someone pull out the sword...awesome job Brooklynn! :yay:

Enjoy your day girls, whatever you decide to do. Maybe some relaxing pool time is in order.

Sorry yesterday was such an emotional day! I can't imagine how hard that was.

I was so excited to see on Facebook that Brooklynn not only got to help lead the flag ceremony, but got to pull the sword out of the stone, too!

I teared up when I read Jill's post about the goodbys. I'm so happy the Brooklynn has such magic moments yesterday.

We went over to AoA to eat breakfast this morning. If you want to see the latest outside pictures of that resort, go and check out the pictures I just put on the Art of Animation thread over on the Resorts Board. If Jill gets on here, or if anyone else finds it and wants to bother, you could put the link up on here. I am headed out the door to AKL to make a craft and see some animals. I will send FB pictures to Jill later.

Yea for so much pixie dust for Brooklynn!!! Not to mention lucky MeMom getting to drink it all in. You really had a banner day after all. :goodvibes

Before I pop over to look at your Art of Animation pics, I wanted to ask if you have tried the new King cupcake at Pop. As an homage to Elvis, it's a crazy confabulation of peanut butter, chocolate & bacon. DD & FB are skeptical, but I bet it could rival our favorite tie-dye treat. They're both unique!

Have another glorious day tomorrow!

I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July yesterday! :woohoo:

I bet it was so gorgeous sitting on the POLY beach and watching the fireworks.

Wishing you safe travels home today!
Hugs for having to say goodbye and getting on that Un-Magical Express.

October will be here before you know it and you will have your beautiful new grand baby girl with you. ;)

Now let's get you home so we can see all of your fabulous pics!

Thanks for all the AoA pics! They were so much fun to see this morning! Made me very happy! :thumbsup2

Loved your pics of AoA. Can't wait to see it next month. We plan to go have a meal or two there. Thanks for showing us what to expect. :cool1:

Not home yet, but part of the way there. I am in Alabama tonight, then on to Tennessee tomorrow night. Hanging out with the girls tomorrow first.

The trips was great, no doubt. :thumbsup2 I did get my question answered about two weeks being enough. If you do things the way we did with plenty of down time - no, it is not. :sad2: We left many things undone.

It was great to see so many DIS friends during one trip. If we crossed paths, please chime in on our meeting and what you thought, and go ahead and feel free to make fun of the country accents. ;)

I intended to finish the October pictures while I was there, but that didn't happen. It shouldn't be a problem to take care of that soon after I get home and get everything squared away.

So glad you enjoyed the FB pictures and updates. We will surely come along with you that way on your trips, as well. Now, time for some much needed sleep!

Alabama or Tennessee--You're practically home! Glad you had safe travels and a wonderful vacation. I'll be looking forward to reading all about it! :)

I am sorry that your trip is over, but know that you have a special DIS grand-daughter to get ready for! Can't wait to see what fun you had!

Glad to hear it was a wonderful trip, even if two weeks was not enough time to "get it all done" in. That's the beauty of Disney. There always something new and fun to look forward to! I hope the last leg home of this journey is good and peaceful and you have plenty of time to rest up before thinking about your new crop of second graders!

Glad you are safe and enjoying some time with the girls today.

Two weeks in WDW is still two weeks of awesome Disney fun!!!
I think you can never have enough time to do it all.

Maybe back in the old days when we did super commando style touring.
Glad those days are over. Scrambling from one ride to another.

We sure have come along way...my kids first trip was for 3 days and one at Universal. And we drove from Canada to Alabama, then to Florida and then back home.
I only had two weeks vacation back then. We did four days of driving, six days in Alabama and had four days at Disney.
We didn't have as much $ back then and boy could I stretch a dollar to make their Disney dreams come true if only for a short time.
I look back on that trip fondly as Aaron was so happy and Lexi was so little and cute. She wouldn't go near a Character, very much like how Bella was.
And now I feel so lucky and blessed to have several Disney trips a year and we can fly!!!

I can't wait to see all your pics...didn't see them on FB so I'm excited to see...

Hopefully I can get my Iphone issues figured out this time and I will be able to send you pics when we go next month. ;)

Enjoy your day! :simba:
