All I Want for Christmas is...A WDW Vacation!! UPDATE pg 35 - Leaving today!!

It was cute, wasn't it? Brooklynn calls it Preppa Landing.

Disneyshopping has Preppa Landing ornaments for $5.99. I thought about getting one for Jill's tree and one for mine, but I haven't yet. I'm trying not to spend any unnecessary money before trip time.

I saw those. Santa usually brings an ornament for the kids' stockings, so maybe he will bring a Prep and Landing one for Connor.

I loved it too - I watched it again when it was on the other night. I kinda wish it would have been an hour instead of 1/2 hour, but it was darling. For sure gets you in the Christmas spirit!

Hi MeMom! Well, I would LOVE to meet up with you guys; it depends on what time my aunt and uncle get done with dinner that night, since my sister and I have the kids. Their ressie at California Grill is at 6:00pm, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to sneak away or not. But I will sure try!!

But now I have a worry....the weather. We are supposed to get a mixture of snow and freezing rain today and tomorrow. It's supposed to clear out by Friday and we fly out Saturday, so cross your fingers that we are OK to go on time!!!

I am trying not to get worked up about it, since there isn't anything I can do about the weather, but just pray for good weather!!

I am nervous about that weather too! 12-20 inches are predicted for where we are, starting tomorrow night. It it supposed to be better by Saturday morning, so hopefully they will have the airport functioning....

Hi Brook - I was wondering about you guys....I just watched the weather again this morning, and for where we are, we're supposed to get some rain/freezing rain (we are actually under a flash flood watch) and then about a total of 3-4" of snow. So hopefully, we'll all be able to get out on time!!!

I agree though, they are agreeing that by Saturday, things are going to clear up.

Only 2 more days - woo hoo!

In weather-news, it looks like we'll be good to go. The western part of Iowa is getting hit much worse than we are; for today, they're forcasting some rain and some sleet, and then tomorrow about 2-4" of snow, but then clear after that. We have a nifty website that gives the road conditions in the state, and the interstate that we take to the airport is clear as can be. So it appears that (cross your fingers) we'll take off on time on Saturday morning!!

I'll start the TR tomorrow night and get it rolling.....be on the watch!! I've decided to title it "Our Totally Tinsel Christmas Vacation!!!"

Merry Christmas to everyone; I've enjoyed getting to know all of your as I prepare to go, and I'm looking forward to actually meeting some of you!
