Hi Anita!!! I have been a bad friend, I need to make it over to your PTR today. Well, we're lucky this month and get to see her twice. She's being dedicated at church in 2 weeks, so we'll see her then, and they'll be back home for Thanksgiving as well. Can't wait!!

Hi everyone!!

I wanted to show you all what came in my Disney Cruise Line Party Pack!!! There was SO MUCH great stuff in there!

So the box comes from FedEx and it's 19 lbs!!!! Wowza!

So I opened it up and this is what I see:

I then start to unpack it and you would not believe the amount of stuff in here!! They are...

And here is Riley, investigating the hanging sign that says, "Bon Voyage!"

Can you believe it?! So here is all the cool swag I got:

- Booklets about the Cruise Line; VERY nice ones, including info about the new ships.
- An apron with Minnie on the front.
- A Jim Shore type statuete with Mickey, Donald and Goofy on the front of it, advertising the Alaska cruises that are going to start.
- Coupons that you can redeem online for a change to win a free cruise!!
- Some very high quality Disney Cruise Line gift bags
- DCL scrapbook pages
- Crayons
- Supplies to make picture frames
- Puzzles
- Napkins and balloons
- A DCL yard stake
- Some Pirate kerchiefs (the same ones that are given away at Pirate Night on the ship!!) and some eye patches so you can be a pirate as well.
- Temporary tattoos
- 3 DCL luggage tags; one says Wonder, one says Dream and the other says Magic
- Some very nice "old world" style pictures of the boats that I am going to frame and put in my bathroom.

Anyway, I was SO EXCITED!!! Just wanted to share my joy with all of you.

Hi Kimmy!! Thanks! I was so pumped to get it all - it was such a nice way to start my weekend!

And I think they will look cool in my bathroom, as well - the style of the pictures is kind of Art Deco (think the '30s and '40s) and since my bathroom is only beige right now, I think I can pretty much do any style.

Hi friends,

Just another quick update. I have turned a corner in my thinking about my weight struggle and wanted to share it will all of you.

Since this medication is not yet out of my body, I am still having a heck of a time losing weight. (I did some more research online this week and found that others that have taken it are also in my same boat, which to an extent makes me feel better.) However, I have been walking each day and using my Wii Fit at night to do things like yoga stretches and some strength activities like push-ups. I can feel myself getting better and I feel "lighter", if that makes any sense, even if the scale is not budging.

Where I have turned a corner is in my mind, I guess. It kind of bums me out that I am not going to be thinner for this trip; I don't like taking pictures or seeing pictures of myself right now. And for a while there, I was having a hard time getting excited about going since I could see that I wasn't going to be the weight I would have liked. BUT I have come to the realization that I just have to do what I can do, and not worry about the rest. I know that I am working at it, and that's what matters. So what if I won't look like my 18 year old sister in her swim suit....that's OK! I really do feel better this week and it's cleared up my mind a lot that I've now switched my thinking.

Just wanted to update all my DIS friends. Thanks so much for your support, it truly means a lot to me!

I stopped over today for two reasons......

I almost overlooked your comment on my TR today. When I went back to check my responses, I couldn't find where I responded to you. I kept scrolling up and down thinking, "how could I miss this?" Anyhoo...its there now.

Second, I had to check out this DCL party pack. Wowsa....that is enormously cool! I bet you are getting SOOOOOOOOO excited now! What an awesome trip you have planned. I can wait for the TR on this megatrip!

I feel ya on the weight thing!! I've hardly worked out since our Disney trip and I'm paying for it now. I HAVE to get motivated! Your motivation is wonderful and it seems like you are focused on working hard no matter what the scale says--good for you!! That's inspiring!!
