Your story brought tears to my eyes. I can just imagine your littlebubbleprincess crying at the airport. I am so sorry that she and your family are hurting.

My best friend's DH got home from Iraq on R & R on Sunday. As he was walking through the airport with his wife, people came up and shook his hand, thanking him for the service he was doing for our country. They were also applauding. He was mortified, but he deserved it.

Hope your DH's deployment goes quickly and safely.

I want to thank you and your DH for making such a sacrifice, so we can remain free to make choices like my DH working so I can be home with our kids. You and your DH help my kids have a good life, and that means so much! Maybe I should loan out my DH so all the military kids can have a psuedo dad until theirs come home!

Hello, that is the same song I sang to dh before he left. I feel your pain. Like someone else said, some days will be harder then others. Everyday that I wake up I wish for it to fly by..then I think of the kids and feel guilty for wishing that. I'm a mess. Everyday I wake up and have to go to a job that threatens to fire me because my schedule is no longer flexible because of my daycare needs. It stresses me out and I brake out in hives just about everyday. It is like they don't know what is going on in the world. Then I come across this thread and it blows my mind as I realize there are people out there that care. Take Care and God Bless.....
