Thats a long time.....:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: I just talked to DS yesterday and he said it was so...... boring...... over there now. Lets hope it stays that way for a long, long time. I will add your DH to my list of people I pray for. Good luck to your family :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

:grouphug: Thank you for the sacrifices your husband and your family are making for our country.

I have been through this. My Dh got back 5 months ago and will be going back in Dec. Please anytime you feel like talking or just need to vent, please email or PM. I would be more than willing to chat with you.

God Bless you, yours and our soldiers,
Tina

I know sort of how you are feeling. It is hard to help them pack up and get ready to go, you cry a lot and worry more. Then, you have to deal with the day to day and how big that hole is. Yes, I there too........

Day to day and remember the song does have a lot of happy return thoughts to it, I also pray that they all come home safely...

Thank him please for serving his country. I will pray for his quick and safe return.

I have no adequate words to thank and honor your husband and you and your family for his service.

:grouphug:

God bless you and your family. Hope your husband knows how much we appreciate what he does.

Thank you all for your good wishes. And for the thanks...I had never thought about the fact that we were "serving by waiting", we're just back from the airport. We were able to get "gate passes" and go through security with him (as well as a couple of other guys wifes) so we stayed untill the plane left. Kudos for NW airlines for allowing us to do that!!! It gave us 2 and a half extra hours together. My little bubbleprincess cried her eyes out, daddy was one of the first ones on the plane and as she was standing at the window ALOT of fellow passengers came up and told her thank you for letting her daddy go and do his job for the country. That was so special. I am printing out the replys for our "Deployment scrapbook" that she and I are going to do...I've never scrapbooked before but looks like I've got lots of time on my hands to learn. Thank you all again for your support!!! It means the world to us!!!!!!

I was having a "I miss my husband" day and I just saw this post. I remember I'm not in this alone, even though it feels like it a lot of the time. So you are not alone! That's not always easy to remember. I can't tell you it will get easier - but it will feel more "normal" once you get into a routine. There will be days though that are going to be tougher than others.... but tomorrow will always be better

God Bless you who have to do without husband/dad! I don't know how I'd handle that! Come to the disbaords for cheering up any time!

I have sat here thinking about what to say to you. But somehow "thank you" just does not seem like enough. My children and my family can go to bed tonight knowing that men like your husband are protecting us and the USA. I can not imagine what you and your family are going through. I will keep him and you in my prayers. I pray that the time will go by quickly and he will be home in your arms safely.

 :grouphug: May God be with him and your family and may He bless you very much. Thank you.

There is no way I could say this better, so I will just repost this earlier response.

How wonderful of the airline to allow that, and also how caring of the other passengers for what they said to your daughter. I hope the pain lessens and the scrapbook sounds like a good idea!

I can't say it better than anyone else said it here either. God bless you and your family.
