DH and I are going Sept.2-14 to celebrate our 10th anniversary and take advantage of the free dining plan. I'd like to do the Fantasmic dinner package on our anniversary day(Sept.9). I saw Fantasmic at DL and was blown away. I'm having a hard time choosing ADR's as we will also be going to offsite attractions for some of the days and I'm sure plans will change daily when we're there. Do you think ADR's will be necessary for the first 2 weeks of September? I could probably make them while I'm down there. :mickeyjum

I will be going the week before you, so far I have only made 2 ADR's. I really hate the idea of having to do them way in advance, and was hoping to do the same thing you want to do. After talking to some people and reading the boards, a lot of people are taking advantage of the free dining. I would pick the ones you really want and leave the rest for when you get down there. So far I have had no problems with where and what time I want to eat, but then again who knows.

YIKES! I guess I better get on it and at least make tentative ADR's and if they just don't coordinate with our schedule we can cancel. Planning this trip is starting to become a little overwhelming. We are fairly spontaneous people so making definite plans I'm finding difficult. I have gotten so much useful info from this sight. It has made me think of things I never really considered.

Be wary, most people say the Fantasmic is not as great in WDW as in DL (myself included) but definitely the dinner package is a good idea if you plan to see it (you should at least once, just don't expect DL's version). :)

Isn't labor day the 4th? I would definitly recommend advance making of ADRs anywhere near that weekend, especially witht the free dining, even if it's only in "the first 2 weeks of september".

We are staying at POP sept 9 / 21 & have all of our ADR made ( I plan on bringing all of my "big" pants ):cloud9: party: :disrocks:

mdmbfly and legomom3:

We'll be there the same time as you will! Are you eating at Crystal Palace the first night you're there? If so, we'll see you! :)

We will be there 9/27 (not on the plan until 9/28) - 10/1. Staying at Pop. Only ADR so far is for LTT on 9/29 (MNSSHP - which I haven't gotten tickets for yet). Only DH and I this trip, so can't decide where else we want to eat. Think we will wait until we get back from our June trip to decide.
I want the best value for my free $ - any suggestions? Not interested in Signature Dining (or whatever they call the places that use 2 TS credits). Only have 2 more per person after LTT. Like to try something new that we always feel we can't afford when paying out of pocket and traveling with 2-4 others.

Have you eaten at Le Cellier yet? It's very good and only 1 TS. We also like Kona Cafe. The food is yummy! :goodvibes
