i read last night from another thread that the free dining program has been extended to june 22 for sign up.

as it was, june 4 was the deadline.


guess disney is trying to fill up more rooms.

My 4 year old son drew it (he's Raevyn , I borrow his name cause I like it as a screen name). . . . . and it's a cute story.

Our son goes to Montessori and has done really well, so he knows how to write simple words (ones he can sound out) and such, to help him practice we make him write his own letters to family and whenever he's invited to a party we have him write his own RSVP notes.
So, when we told him he was going to MNSSHP (9/15) he got SOOOO excited because he thought that meant he had to write Mickey an RSVP!!!!!!!
He wrote a short letter "Hi Mickey, My name is Raevyn. I am 4. I love Disneyworld and visiting you. I will be at your party. I Love you, Raevyn" and he drew that picture to go with it. (which I ofcourse had to scan a copy for myself)

My son is Disney obsessed like me.

P.s.- since we make him write his letters all by himself (correcting him only when neccessary) he figured out how to spell Mickey Mouse all by himself by singing the Mickey Mouse Club theme song, which is my ringtone. lol.

Great story and love your son's name , looks like you've got a genius in the making! Only four and he can spell and write? WONDERFUL ! Maybe someday he'll become a famous author and we'll be reading hisbooks. LOL Wouldn't that be cool!

I'm staying Sept. 1-6 and taking advantage of the great offer. My question is can you make ADR's if you haven't finished paying for the trip? Also are there set places you can use the table service meals and counter service meals or if I made a rez at the Sci-Fi Dine-In could I use it as a counter service meal for lunch? Thanks

We are SO there. August 19-27 POFQ. We were actually planning on trying to get back to DL later this year, but when we priced a comparable WDW trip, it was actually about $1,000 cheaper than DL-and that's BEFORE the free dining promotion. Once free dining came into the picture, it was buh-bye CA, hello FL! See you all there!
