Mom and I are doing a short trip in mid-November, only 2 park days plus MVMCP. We plan on going park open to park closing time with no formal breaks. Will we get run down? Heres my plan:
Nov 17th MK then hop to EP
Nov 18th visit resorts
Nov 19th MVMCP
Nov 20th AK(safari only) to HS to EP to MK(9-11 EMH)

We've done all 4 parks in 1 day before, but since its a short trip we may have to do it again.

Also, we want to do alot of things we have never done before. One thing is RD at MK. We cant do it Nov 17th because of a 9am KttK. Mom wants to do FIVE parks in 1 day by adding MK (for the opening stage show and maybe 1 attraction) before AK on Nov 20th. Is this crazy? I feel like we will spend half our day on WDW transportation.

Thoughts?

You will not be able to accomplish a "lot of things we have never done". You can book 3 fast passes at one park, per day. Then you can try for fourth fastpass, after you use that you can try for a fifth. (Fast pass 4 and 5 can be at another park.

You will spend a lot of your time on Disney transportation and going through security. Also, anything you want to ride or see (whether with a fast pass or without) you will still wait in line!!

Why spend an entire day visiting resorts on such a short trip? I'd probably add another day to the ticket and skip visiting resorts.
Since you've done it before, it seems like you know what to expect.
Going to AK only for the safari doesn't really seem worthwhile.
You will spend a lot of time waiting for and on Disney transportation if you don't want to use an FHV service.

I'm a big fan of doing all four parks in one day on short trips--I've done it twice and I think it's a blast. Never felt like I lost excessive amounts of time to transportation doing it.

...But I would not do MK at the start and end of the day with the other three in between. I think it's doable, but it's too much doubling back for me, and I think that would make for too hectic of a start to the day. You'll already have to be economical with your time at each park without adding an extra stop.

My best friend and I did it four years ago on our 40th birthday trip. We did 4 parks on a Saturday and then 3 on a Sunday. It was crazy but super fun. I think on Saturday we walked 18 miles! I think the order was HS, AK, Epcot and then MK because they were open the latest. You definitely have to be flexible and plan on waiting in line more than usual. I can’t remember what we did about fast passes and I feel like the transportation wasn’t terrible and security wasn’t as bad as it is now. We had a lot of fun though but you definitely have to pick and chose and move fast!!

Its doable, but I agree with taking Uber from MK to AK (if you do 5 parks) and AK to HS. That will save a lot of time.

I did all 4 parks this past Thursday and it was amazing! (and exhausting!) My plan was to meet Mickey at all 4 parks and ride at least 1 ride. I was solo, the parks were very quiet, and I got very lucky with transportation.
I started in MK @ 7:00. Met Mickey, Breakfast at Main Street Bakery, Pictures on Main Street and in front of castle, rode people mover, under the sea, met Ariel, and haunted mansion. Went to ride splash but it and BTM was down, rode Pirates instead than sat and had some dole whip. All this by 9:30.

Took bus to AK, arrived @ 10:15. While eating breakfast I was able to get a 10:30 FP for FOP, 11:30 for EE, and 12:30 for Mickey. Did all this plus ate at Flame Tree for lunch and added a 4th FP for Dinosaur. Also got lots of photos in front of the tree of life. Left at 1:30.

Took bus to HS, arrived @ 2:10. waiting for the bus I got a FP for ToT. Met Mickey and Minnie, rode ToT 3 times in a row getting back to back FP. Love that ride! I did some shopping and decided I didn't want to carry bags to EP, so I took the Skyliner over to PoP and dropped my stuff off and freshened up. Left HS at 5:00.

Took Skyliner to EP from PoP, arrived at EP at 6:15. Rode Figment, met Mickey, rode FEA with another FP, had dinner at Rose and Crown, watched Epcot Forever from the UK area. Took Skyliner back to PoP. Was back in my room before 10:00.

It was an amazing day but it wore me out!! Put over 38,000 steps on the fitbit!
I didn't mind taking the buses and skyliner. It gave me a chance to sit for a while and plan for the next park.

I would suggest switching the MVMCP to the last day, and doing all in 1 on the 19th. I did my all in 1 on a Thursday and did the MNSSHP on Friday. It was nice to sleep in on Friday and not have to worry about getting to the park until 4 for the party. I didn't get back to my room after the party until 1am. No way I would have been able to make it through all 4 parks on such little sleep.

Go for it and have fun!!

that does sound exhausting. Curious, Did you have more time in the parks or transporting between?

I did this in August 2018 and loved it. I had to ride one attraction and eat one snack/meal in each park. I did fail the eating part because I realized I had the Mickey Mousse from Amorette's in my room I wanted to eat instead of something at MK that night. Otherwise, I got it all done.

The best piece of advice I have is to really think about the order of the parks. Have Epcot/Hollywood Studios back to back since you can walk/Skyliner/Friendship Boat. Also MK/Epcot next to each other if you want to ride the monorail. Also, placing AK at the start or end of your day since it's fairly far removed from the other parks. I relied on Disney transportation the whole day and didn't have any hiccups.

Another recommendation is to make FPs for the second park. You can Rope Drop the first park and get a lot done without them, then use them at the second park so you can start refreshing for the third and fourth. It balanced out really well for me.

A friend and I are going to try and hit all four parks in one day ...

Drive to MK for rope drop (Buzz, Carousel of Progress, People Mover)
Monorail to Epcot (haven't decided on two rides yet)
Skyliner to Hollywood Studios (Toy Story Mania & ???)
bus either back to MK to get car, then AK or bus to AK then bus/Uber back to MK to get car depending on time as we have FPs in AK at 3:55pm.

As you may or may not know, Skyliner is currently closed due to "issues" (there was an accident). Depending on when you go, you may have to use a different form of transportation.

I think if you have 1 or 2 things in each park you want to see then it's do-able. How much you'll enjoy that day with all the running around is a whole other story.

We did it back in the summer of 2018 and had a blast doing it. It was a busy day but not insane. We had a rental car though, so that helped us a lot in cutting down on transportation time. I think an uber might be your best best for efficient transportation.

We hit EMH at DHS and rode RnR and ToT. We drove to Epcot and hit their regular open rope drop. We rode Test Track and Soarin. Then we drove to AK where I had made FP+. We rode FoP, EE and Dinosaur and then we headed off to MK where we had dinner at CRT. Our plan was to ride a couple of rides and watch the fireworks and close down the park, but it was raining and a big storm was headed that way. So, we hit pirates and HM I think and then called it a day before the storm hit. It's not something I'd want to do on a regular basis, but it ended up being an absolute blast! It helped a lot to start at an EMH park as that got us a head start at basically two parks when we could hit short ride lines. Combine that with FP+ at an afternoon park and then finishing at MK which has the most rides and the best chance of same day FP+ and it worked out beautifully.

From 2015:

4 parks 1 day, Rope Drop Epcot, Soarin’, Nemo/Aquarium, Figment, Boat to Hollywood Studios, Frozen sing-a-long (FP+), Lunch (Min & Bill’s/ABC Commissary), Rock N Roller Coaster (FP+) – closed, Tower of Terror (FP+) (shop), Bus to Animal Kingdom, FP+ Kiosk (Safari), Snacks at Beastly Kiosk, Maharajah Jungle Trek, Rafiki’s Planet Watch (for pic only), Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, Kilimanjaro Safaris (FP+), DINOSAUR, Bus to Magic Kingdom, Pick up Sorcerer cards and play a few portals, Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party, Splash Mountain, Main Street Electrical Parade

As others have said, I would encourage you to end at MK rather than start there.

We just did this for DD 8th birthday! We had a fantastic time and I would not hesitate to do something similar on a short trip. We did this with 3 kids ages, 8, 6, and 1 1/2. The two big kids walked nearly all day with minimal complaining! We started at HS for the 6am EEMH and rode everything some things twice with rider swap. We left about 10:30ish and took the Friendship boat to Epcot. Such a relaxing ride and took about 25-30min. We had never seen that area so it was a treat by itself! We got to Epcot in time for WS to open and browsed a bit before and 11:30 Via Napoli lunch. A CM at HS had noticed our shirts (“Park Hop TIL you Drop) and DD birthday button and pixie Dusted us with FP for Test Track and Soarin! That was a huge help. Soarin was a short line but it saved us an hour at test track. We rode those rides plus Living with the Land before monorail it to MK for our FP as Splash, BTMRR, and Space. They started at 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00. After that I grabbed a FP to meet Mickey and Minnie for DD in their birthday costumes and DH took the others on Speedway. We left MK at 6:30 and went to AK. At AK I grabbed at 5th FP for Everest, watched Tough to be a Bug, walked on Kali and then ended the night at FOP! I was also able to grab a FP for Navi while I was waiting to rider swap FOP. We had a fantastic day, was in the parks for almost 17 hours, we did almost 30 attractions/shows (with rider swap) and just had a fantastic day. The only thing we missed on our to-do list was the Festival of Fantasy parade. It was an Epic 8th birthday that she won’t soon forget!

Everyone did sleep well that night and we had MNSSHP the next night so it was a lazy day/morning which I would highly recommend afterwards!

Long story about buying tickets, but 2 park days is what works best for us. We want to visit resorts as part of "doing things for the first time." We know the 4 parks in one day is long and exhausting, but are willing to do it for 1 day. We will probably do more than just the safari at AK, but that is our main go-to.

We decided not to start the day at MK. We are staying at All-Stars anyways so we will be close to AK. We will go AK-HS-EP-MK. Last time we did all 4 in one day it was a blast! Tired at the end of it, yes, but lots of fun and doesn't seem like we spent a lot of time in transit if you do the parks in the right order!

Makes sense to me! AK is the odd one out, tbh. Your plan is the same order I used in 2018; I liked being able to walk HS to EP and monorail EP to MK. Seemed a lot quicker than bus service, though I don't know that the monorail really is.
