Has anyone seen AiW in the stores? I'm really interested in plushes from the Disney original. I didn't know if they would push that for the younger kids.

We have a plush Cheshire cat that DD bought a few trips ago. She is a big Alice fan.

not to hijack but my DD is dead seat on having a Alice in Wonderland themed bday party this year and I know I have a lot of work in front of me because I have no idea where to begin...

just got back a couple of weeks ago. i have been several times, to WDW, in last couple of years. am a big alice fan as well but this is the first time ive seen the merchandise. its all over the place. chesire cats. alice dresses. official wonderland unbirthday tea. teapots, tea mugs. thats the old school stuff that is brought to mind. btw- in the disney art stores you can find AiW handdrawn pics. JIC you have an AiW room like I do. they also have the new AiW (tim burton) stuff for sale as well. purses, shirts, the mad hatters hat etc.

Right now the Disney Store in my mallhas some stuff..they have a plush Alice, white rabbit and cheshire cat all modeled after the original animated classic...they have a bag with Johnny Depp on it and a few other things. You can probably get them at disneystore.com as well. The Rabbit it really cute. I had to have one.

had an Alice bday for my 4yrDD in Nov 09. brought 21 people. we all had shirts that said a very merry un-birthday to me. my dd wore a custom made Queen of Hearts Dress. wish I could post pics. CM kept saying happy birthday princess and she would reply she was a queen not a princess. had the party at CRT, had a mad hatter cake custom made. took some doing, but Erich at the GF made it to my wishes. ask me anything. I can give you tons of Alice bday ideas

did not do invitations. asked the people i wanted to go in jan 09 for a nov 09 trip. since i was paying i had to 100% make sure they were going.i did do gift bags for eveyone. I got bright lime green canvas bags, embroidered family names on the bags and embroidered 10"x10" favorite characters on the bag. Filled the bags with the aforementioned Very merry unbirthday t shirts, emeregency ponchos ( which we did not need) pool inflatables and toys to coordinate with the character on the bag. and silly string of course. we blew silly string all over WDW. it was a welcome gift for making the trip and taking off work. i will search for your email under your profile and try to email you pics of the Queen of hearts dress and the mad hatter cake. BTW- The chef at the grand floridan won an award for this cake after he made it to match my wishes.!

you know what! i just realized you arent having the party in the park. Thats where Ours was. I had people coming from all over down to orlando for the party. let me think on invitations for you. maybe message in a bottles that say drink me? petit fours that say eat me? invitations with the caterpillar on the front that say A E I O....and on the inside says U: Are invited blah blah. i could think on it all day.

Try the Pennywhistle Party Planner. It has great ideas for all kinds of themed parties, including AiW. My sister made the Mad Hatter cake for her daughter's Birthday, and it was a huge hit.
