Alfredo's in December??

I want to book Alfredo's for December but I know it's switching out. According to the wdwinfo it says:

The L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante is scheduled to close on August 31, 2007.

Starting September 1, 2007, this location will become part of the Patina Restaurant Group. Noted for their "Naples" restaurant in Disneyland, the Epcot venue will feature the cuisine of Master Chef Joachim Splichal.

A flagship restaurant is expected to open at this location in the Fall of 2008. It is rumored that it will continue operation during this transition, but booking is not yet available. It will participate in the Magic Your Way Dining plan.

So is it true that it will still be open in some form? Can I make ADRs? Has anyone made an ADR for September or later there?

Says right in your quote, booking is not yet available. But you might want to call Dining and see how old the article is. Maybe they will start taking ADRs soon!

STILL trying to book the new Italian restaurant during our trip the end of this mth. I thought Alfredos was to close 8/31 and the new one would open in the current spot and close for rennovations next January. But every time I call, I'm told they aren't accepting ressies at the new one and they dont' know if it's open.

Can someone tell me who has BEEN to EPcot recently...is there a TS restaurant operating in Italy?????? I'm hoping since ressies aren't being accepted, perhaps we can just enjoy a walk in meal.

We were just ther last week and it was closed.
We just booked AKL for Dec13-17 for quick Bday trip and I was able to book Italy for Candlelight Processional Dinner.The CM did remind me that it would be under new management but she was unable to tell me if the menu would change much.
