Although Maggiano's is a good chain, I would hate to see a Maggiano's in Epcot's World Showcase. Epcot should not include a chain restaurant that has other locations throughout the United States. Fortunately, there is no indication that Disney is considering this. (Yes, I know they sell McDonald's fries at Epcot, and I don't like that either.)I would be really happy if they put a Maggiano's in there. That would soothe the pain of losing Alfredo's. Maggiano's -- that's some really good food!!

Excellent!!
Also, Maggiano's concept is to re-create the type of restaurant found in Little Italy neighborhoods in large American cities a half century (or more) ago, not to be an restaurant that might actually find in Italy. In other words, it's the wrong kind of "authenticity" for World Showcase.
There's already a Maggiano's in Orlando.
I want the restaurants in the Disney theme parks to take me to another place and time. I want the restaurants throughout WDW to be unique experiences that aren't available to me around the edges of suburban shopping malls.
